The minute we entered Black Bear Falls Log Home Community we knew this was the place to be. We chose this community because of the quality true log home construction, incredible Smoky Mountain views on spacious lots, natural wooded setting with water falls and ponds, great clubhouse and pool area and proximity to downtown Gatlinburg, shopping, dining, hiking, Dollywood and other area attractions.

Black Bear Falls has many special memories for us - We both celebrated a major birthday at the clubhouse, our youngest son proposed to his wife in the mountains, both our sons stayed in the cabin for their honeymoon. Our guests have nick-named our stuffed bear "George" which kids of all ages enjoy, including our granddaughter.

My family and I just left "Back to Nature" where we had a great vacations.We were 7 persons 4 adults and three of my grandchildren (9,6,3 years-old) even my 92 years-old mom loved it. The Cabin was fully Decorated for Christmas with a beautiful Christmas Tree, Lights around the house(one of the very few that had them). The decoration, the spacious accommodations, the fully equipped kitchen shows the care for all details that her owners have put in their Cabin. When we arrived there was a Christmas Basket , and a Card from the Owner waiting for us to greet us, very nice touch! and when we arrived home there was another Christmas Card in our Mail Box... Not even in a five Stars Hotel we have received such a good Wecome.Even my son who studied Hotel and Restaurant Management in Europe and now is a Regional Manager was impressed with all the good taste in the details (he usually criticize everything that I, her mother, chooses)Black Bear Falls is located at 5 minutes from Gatlinburg downtown easy to get there. My daugther and grandson tried the ZipLine and they liked very much. There was no snow the only thing that was disappointed but we had a great time. We went to Bilmore that was 1 1/2 hours from the house and was beautiful! The only thing and is a recommendation and by no means a critic is that they should finish the fence between Back to Nature and the neighbours house, just left of the house entrance, anybody that doesn't know the entrance or comes for the first time can think that , that is the entrance and falls to a 100 yards cliff. Everything was more that we had expected... Not any doubt we will come back... Thank you for sharing your House with us!!!!

My husband, daughter, and two granddaughters just left the cabin yesterday and it was so sad leaving. The cabin was so spacious and comfortable. The owner has a real knack for decorating. I loved all the little bears and details. The kitchen was more than well stacked. I stayed at a different cabin at Thanksgiving time and could not believe the difference! I wished I had booked this cabin. The pool was clean although a bit small, but it fit the bill with the grand kids. The other excellent feature is the location. Close to downtown and close to the Arts and Crafts community and a nice grocery store. The Dudley by-pass was a huge help with the holiday traffic. We zip-lined for the first time and what a hit! Thank you for sharing your home with us, I sure we will return soon!

Back to Nature is a wonderful cabin, especially given the affordable pricing. Great location - scenic yet easy to access and within a short distance of all the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge attractions. The cabin itself has a great layout for a multi-family trip -- the downstairs provided a nice place for the kids to play, the centralized kitchen upstairs was perfect for hanging out and cooking and we appreciated the roomy bedrooms, each with their own bath. The expansive decks offer great views of the mountains and a perfect place to sit with a cup of coffee on the big rocking chairs. The kitchen was very well-stocked as far as utensils/cookware and had lots of storage. The stuffed bear provided hours of enjoyment for the kids and plenty of laughs for the adults. Check-in/out was easy through the rental company and having the ability to talk to the owners was also a plus. The only negative was leaving and going back to reality!

Our family had a wonderful stay in Back to Nature in August 2010. The cabin was well-kept and spacious. The views were lovely! The pool table and hot tub were big hits with our teen sons. We appreciated the full kitchen facilities and the 3 bedrooms and 4 (yes, 4) bathrooms. We would stay here again. The location was excellent with very easy access to the National Park via Dudley Creek bypass and the Gatlinburg bypass.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with teenagers.

What a wonderful home away from home you have! We have been to Gatlinburg many times, but this cabin is by far our favorite. Its close proximity to town, friendly staff, beautiful decor, and spacious floor plan with a fantastic view make this mountain retreat so pleasurable. The snow was just beautiful and we even enjoyed a friendly snowball fight with the visitors staying in the cabin below! We appreciate how clean and cozy the atmosphere is. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us, and we look forward to returning.
