After two months of no sun in western Pa. we were thrilled to be living in this spacious 2 bedroom,2 bath totally remodeled condo only 50 yards from the beach! Both the living room and the master bedroom had 3 panel sliding glass doors for amazing views of the ocean! We loved the new tile floors and granite counter tops. We also thought that the lay out was very well designed with full laundry off the kitchen, walk in closet in master bedroom and large patio off both the living room and master. There was a nice sundeck below with very easy access to the ocean. The condo is located with the ocean on the east to see the sunrise and the bay only one block to the west to see the sunset. The Kennedy space center is about 40 minutes away and the Cocoa Beach Country Club is only 10 minutes away. We would highly recommend this condo. I have rented beach condos in the Caribbean 7 times, as well as 6 times in Hawaii. The location of this So. Cocoa Beach condo is the best beach rental I've ever had. The pictures do not do it justice. It's the closest to the beach and is a quiet small complex with lovely renters. The wall to wall windows look out on the ocean and allow you to watch the sunrise from the master suite, which has an ultra-comfortable king size bed. I walked in the surf for 2 hours each morning, even in the warm rain, then took a refreshing swim in the sparkling heated pool. It's really convenient to have a washer & dryer in the condo, all the kitchen utensils needed to cook, and to have 2 TVs that carry so many channels. I also appreciated the wifi high speed internet. The whole condo is tastefully decorated and even more importantly, it is spotlessly clean. The whole property is clean and well kept with beach side lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and even a foot level water spigot to clean just your sandy feet. I was also happy for the elevator so I didn't have to schlep my bags up the stairs. The owner, Lina Douglass, makes the rental process as easy as possible and I feel very fortunate to have come across this beautiful place. It was everything I was looking for in my stay on the Space Coast and I plan to return as many springtimes as I can. For now, I have my lovely seashells to remind me of the beach. We loved this unit. It is truly a full ocean front view from the living room and master bedroom. You won't find a better view! We had a ground floor walkout onto the nice big deck and the walk to the beach couldn't be any shorter. It is literally just steps away. Travelling as a family with teenagers, we like staying in a complex that does not have "gated" access to the beach and pool. Juggling keys is just too inconvenient and this complex is gate-free! Perfect! The unit itself had nice tile floors throughout and was very clean. The kitchen was well appointed and had a full size washer dryer which is really a necessity at the beach. We had 2 cars and were concerned about parking in a small complex but we never had an issue. We had our one assigned space and there was always another space available even with all the units occupied. The pool is small and located near the road, but it is adequate and we came for the beach, not the pool. The complex is pretty far south in cocoa beach so we enjoyed being away from the crowds. Overall it is a great unit. You won't be disappointed.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

If you'd love to stay in Cocoa Beach, but don't want to be near all of the partying and traffic - this is the place to stay. Especially good if you have kids. Lina does a great job keeping ahead of the maintenance and upkeep, so the unit is in great condition. Everything works as it should, which makes the stay all the better. It's actually a little nicer than the pictures show. The unit has it's own washer and dryer, which was a big selling point for us. You also get use of a stall in the garage, which is secured - not a carport, in other words. The building has an elevator also. The beach is wonderful. We stayed in mid-June, and it was not crowded at all. We even got to watch an Atlas V launch from the balcony during our stay! Lina was very helpful. She met us there after our arrival, and answered any questions we had. There are a ton of restaurants in the area - two of which are right across the road from the condo. We ate at the little seafood place called The Cape Codder across the street. We really enjoyed it - get there before the dinner rush. We made full use of the kitchen the rest of our stay, cooking most of our meals. There is a Publix grocery store about 6 miles south in Satellite Beach. Her units feature wireless high speed internet, and lcd tv's. The living room tv had an integral dvd player. We were very pleased with the condo, it's owner/manager, and the entire area in general. If we vacation in Cocoa Beach again, we'd book here in a second.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We absolutely loved the fact that we could just walk out our door and we were on the beach. The location on the beach was great too, very quiet and relaxing. The amenities of the condo couldn't have been more well supplied. There was absolutely everything we needed and very clean and modern. We didn't even realize there were a washer/dryer included until we arrived -- what a great surprise. We will highly recommend anyone to stay in these condos.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this condo! Perfect location on the southern end of Cocoa Beach. Very quiet, and right on the beach. It was very neat and clean. Comfortable beds! It's so nice to have a full kitchen while on vacation, and to be able to do laundry. My family stayed for the first time at Cocoa Beach this summer. We were there from June 24 through July 2nd. and had a wonderful time! The two condo's we rented were beautiful and well kept. The price was the best we had found in any coastal town. The beaches weren't crowded like the Gulf coast beaches. My family will certainly use these Condos again!Recommended for: Families with young children

We stayed her for a week last summer and it was wonderful! Lina was very helpful and courteous. The condo was clean and well maintained. The view was superb and we had almost the entire beach to ourselves, which is hard to come by in summer. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the afternoon watching the waves crash and cruise ships off in the distance. There were other families in units around us, but it was very quiet....a big plus when really wanting to relax. We hope to return! The view is the best thing overall of the unit. The inside is kept very clean also and Lina is a sweetheart. This unit has all of the necessary items that you would need for your "home away from home." Lina came to see us the second day that we were there and we couldn't have asked for a better landlady. We were actually greeted by two sea turtles on our last night there as we took our evening walk on the beach. Our 9 year old daughter and 5 year old son loved it as well. My family and I stayed for a week at this fantastic condo! Perfect location, right on the beach, quiet, and clean. Owner very friendly and helpful. Condo super clean with everything you need including plentiful beach toys! My kids had a blast ( 8 and 2 year old) spending all day on beach and evenings at the pool! Could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay!! Will definitely return to this condo!Recommended for: Families with young children

Great location to beach, only few steps to sand. The Jellyfish were terrible that week, made National News headlines, no fault of owner. Very nice condo, with all amenities but, the beds need new mattresses.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our stay was May 7th to May 14th 2011..It was a wonderful vacation this was our second time staying at this condo and we will be returning every chance we get. Lina is a wonderful owner she: keeps her condo immaculate, if there is anything you need she is very helpful and a very kind and sweet lady. The condo is perfect, love having a washer and dryer in the condo, Lina even supplies beach equipment, such as chairs/ umbrellas and toys. It's also very nice having a garage. The views are spectacular, I even got to see dolphins from the balcony. The pool area is very nice as well. You can watch sunsets from your front door. And sunrises from your bed/patio area. Cocoa Beach is a wonderful vacation spot. This condo is in the best area, not to far from the pier but away from all the tourist and partying. Very quiet, wonderful place to relax and enjoy the ocean. I have two young children ages 5 and 1 and they had a great time as well, Lina supplies highchairs and even pack and plays if you need one. While there you must eat at Friendly's very good food and Ice cream. For a nice romantic dinner eat at the Pier Restuarant. While on our vacation we visited Disney World which is only a 55 min drive from the condo. Also a nice place to visit is The Kennedy Space Center near there you can see alligators bathing in the sun on the side of the road. And if your lucky on your stay you may get to see a shuttle launch or rocket launch. We have gotten lucky a few times to see launches its a wonderful sight. I have also done parasailing in Cocoa which was a wonderful expereince. You can even rent boats, go fishing and they even have boat tours which we haven't done but planning on when we return. I wish I could live in Cocoa Beach, thats how much I love it there and Linas condos are the best in town. Can't wait for a return trip...Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I have stayed at the Carlton Oceanfront Condo twice in the last 3 years. (August 2008, and April 2011) Both visits were extremely enjoyable and relaxing. We love Cocoa Beach to begin with, but this location on the beach is perfect. Just far enough from town and the pier to allow for a quiet and serene beach experience. The Condo itself is spotless and very comfortable. We were impressed enough to send our parents down for a stay in May 2011. They loved it as well.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We've stayed in Cocoa Beach at VRBO rentals for several years now. This is our first stay at Carlton Condominiums and we were delighted with it. The location is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Cocoa Beach to provide peace and tranquility, and yet just a short drive takes you to all the Cocoa Beach hot spots in a matter of minutes. The condo was and had all the comforts we needed to feel at home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Whether you come with your spouse or together with your children, you'll enjoy this place. While having your breakfast you can watch the sun rising from the Atlantic Ocean. After that you can prepare yourself to the daily activities on the balcony or on the deck. We love to walk or jog on waterline barefoot, feel the wind, sea and the sun. Then we'll have a rest outside reading - finally falling a sleep - taking a nap. When the sun sets, you can drive to Orlando Mall, Publix to reload your fridge or to any of fantastic local restaurants and have a dinner. In the evening we sit outside in the dark and admire the beautiful starry sky and the moon on the sea. The last thing you hear is the rhythm of the ocean lulling you to sleep. We have stayed in Carlton Oceanfront Condominiums once or twice per year during the last 10 years. It feels like coming home every time. You'll know what you get. In the condo you have all you need for a splendid vacation. The most important however is the excellent and professional landlady and her husband who welcome you every time with special warmth and joy.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Can't say enough about how wonderful our vacation was. The property was absolutely terrific. Walk out the patio door and you are 50 yards from the ocean. The sand, the surf, the sun-all just outside your patio door. The condo was very well appointed, everything worked perfectly. The decor was modern and furnishings comfortable. The location is great, on the beach and still close to dining and other activities. We spent a few days going into Orlando-about 50 minutes to Disney/Seaworld, but the best part is relaxing on the beach. We almost had the entire beach to ourselves. Make sure to check out both the locks and Jetty Park to see the manatee, really incredible experience. I cannot recommend Carlton Condominiums highly enough. Everything was great, and the washer and dryer can’t be underestimated. Nice to be able to wash the salt water out of towel, swimsuits, etc. The full kitchen allows you to decide when to make meals and when you can go out for dining. We normally ate lunch in and went out for dinners. There is a Publix just up the road from the condo and many dining options for any type of appetite. They even have menus for most of the restaurants close by so you can see what you are in the mood for. This was our second stay, and certainly won’t be our last. We plan on coming back as often as possible. Orlando is nice to visit, but Cocoa Beach feels like home. This unit is gorgeous, fully tiled, easy to get in and out. The deck is fabulous, sitting out there in the evening is a special treat. This stretch of beach is quiet, large amount of sand. Perfect for walking or biking (at low tide) as well! Use of garage is very nice, a convenient place to store beach stuff. Two great restaurants right across the street. Great, quiet, clean and beautiful beach condo!!. The view from the beach (north - south) is awesome, and anyone looking for long walks on the beach would not be disappointed. The tides roll in and out and there is a lot of beach to sit back and enjoy, or go in and enjoy the waves and clean water. We stayed at this same condo twice in the last four years, and have not been disappointed at all. The units are well equipped, clean, and spacious. The condo is well located, and within short driving distances to many attractions, like mini-golf, Orlando (Disney) and Cape Canaveral (Kennedy Space Center), etc. We would recommend this to anyone with families or couples looking for a great place to stay. We ourselves, a family of four would certainly enjoy a return trip to this place again in the near future.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We were looking for a quiet place, spacious enough for my husband and two teenage sons to get away. We wanted to be close to the water and not to far from the excitement of Cocoa Beach. We scored big with this place!! RIGHT on the water, just a few miles from the fun of Cocoa Beach, blissfully quiet and private. The unit was exactly what we were looking for. Spacious and squeaky clean. The view was spectacular...I could go on and on. Just know that this is the PERFECT place to stay when in this area!!! Lina was very helpful in anything we needed, she took great care of us!! Thanks Lina!! My family and I stayed in Lina's condo for two weeks this past summer, and it was wonderful. The condo was VERY clean and well stocked. The complex itself is so nice, very quiet, clean, and in a great location. It's very family oriented and quiet, but there is still plenty to do. It was a pleasure renting from Lina--she is wonderful and easy to work with. We had a great time at Lina's condo. It was so private and yet you have Orlando about an hour away. We were just steps to the beach and there weren't alot of tourists which we loved. Lina was great and made sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful with information on local attractions. We had a great stay and would love to stay again sometime. GREAT view, GREAT place and plenty of room. This condo was in spectacular condition, had plenty of room for us and our boys, and a great view to the ocean. The pool was great as we spent most of the time there, and having a garage to park your vehicle was nice with all the sand / salt. Lina was great to work with, and very helpful! Would stay there again....hopefully in the near future with some family members.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This was by far the nicest condo I have stayed in on a beach. The location and Ocean view are incredible and the unit is very well kept not to mention everything works as it should in the unit. From past experiences at other condo's this is a big plus. This is by far the best place to stay, no hustle and bustle on the beach, its nice, quiet even serene. I could sit on the deck for hours sipping Margarita's and looking and listening to the ocean. I can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We love this condominium complex. All condominiums have fanatasitc views; great deck on the beach; small only 9 units. Lina keeps her place immaculate; inside and outside of the condominium. Units have everything you would need. Gas grill always works. We have stayed here numerous times over the past years and have plans to return in the near future. Cocoa Beach is a lovely place to visit.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
