Beach Retreat Condominiums-2746 Scenic Gulf Drive-located in the heart of Destin! Beach Retreat is a private, gated community ideal for family vacations. Established in 2003, Beach Retreat is only 4 stories with 44 units with convenient parking. Elevators and staircases are located on both ends of the complex for your convenience.
It is a great place for families to use alone or share with friends. It offers a vacation with all the comforts and amenities of home! It is only a short distance from Silver Sands Outlet Mall, Destin Commons, the water park, restaurants and walking distance from the Pompano Joe's & Kenny D's! Beach Retreat is located on the "beach road" which allows you to enjoy the beautiful ocean while you walk your pet or ride your bike.
Beach Retreat offers a club house for all gatherings. It is complete with TVs, game tables, and a kitchen. An exercise room is also available for guests. The pool is heated and 3000 sq. feet with a hot tub to the side. Restrooms are located in the pool area for your convenience. We offer 2 complimentary beach chairs and 1 umbrella.
Beach Retreat #210 is a non-smoking, pet friendly unit that has been completely remodeled and offers the highest quality of amenities. You will find all the extras that you would not normally find in a rental unit! The kitchen is equipped with all stainless steel appliances along with beautiful granite counter tops. 52' inch high definition LCD TV's occupy the living room and master bedroom, along with LCD TVs in 2 guest rooms. The master bedroom and living room TVs include DVR/TIVO so you do not miss out on your favorite shows while you are enjoying beautiful Destin! A Bose stereo system and Ipod docks are located throughout the unit. For your entertainment, we have a collection of DVD's and a playstation 3 game system for guests. The balcony is a great place to start the morning out! There is nothing more relaxing than enjoying the ocean view while you drink your morning coffee!
Sleeping arrangements: (sleeps 8)
The king master bedroom offers a panoramic ocean view with access to the balcony! The bathroom is complete with a garden tub, double vanity, walk-in closet, and newly tiled walk in shower with frameless doors! The quest bedroom offers a king size bed with a wall mounted, flat screen TV with adjoining bathroom. Our beach inspired third bedroom is complete with a built in full size bed, wall mounted flat screen TV, and dressing table. There is an additional queen sofa sleeper in the living room!
Rest comfortable in the pillow top mattresses and black out drapes!
The only problem you'll have is leaving!!

We stayed in this beautiful condo in July/August 2011. We rented because of their pet friendly policy and because we needed a condo for 8 people. We were not disappointed! It is beautiful! Every room looks just like the pictures shown here on VRBO. The condo was clean and well-kept. The kitchen was fully equipped with all that you need for cooking. Everything was modern and in great condition. I worried that being across the street would be a nuisance, but it wasn't at all. It was fun to sit on the balcony and watch cars and motor bikes drive by. There is a beach sidewalk on both sides of the street. Great for runners, walkers, bikes and pets. The location is a short car ride to shopping, restaurants, and other activities. A few restaurants are within walking distance. The swimming pool is on the back side of the property, so you can't see the beach while in the pool. It is a nice pool area with ample chairs and lounge chairs. Since the building is only 4 stories high, there aren't too many people sharing the pool, beach area, etc. I found it to be a very relaxing beach vacation for our entire family! We will definitely return to The Beach Retreat!

The condo was very, very nice, The view off the balcony was wonderful in any direction. The location was perfect. The photos didn't due justice to the condo, it was even more beautiful. There was plenty of everything we might need during our stay. I have been to Destin many times and this condo was one of the best. The condo was very clean and organized. I would recommend this condo to anyone. One of the best things was we could bring our 2 little poodles. There is all kinds of shopping, eating and attractions to do. My cousin and I make jewelry for our shop and it was a relaxing place to work. Things could not have been better. Thank you Brook

Our stay in this condo in June 2011 was fantastic! We actually got to meet Brooke, the owner of the condo, when we were checking in. I can't think of a better person to work with, and rent from. Brooke really works hard to make sure her guests are accommodated above and beyond. The condo is beautiful, very modern furniture, great view of the ocean, stacked full of anything you would need. I personally enjoyed doing the workout dvd's she had before going out onto the beach. This condo just makes you want to relax, you don't need to do anything, because everything truly is taken care of. We will definitely try to get this condo again, or rent from Brooke in specific. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters stayed at this property for a week in April 2011. Could not have been happier in any way. Property furnished very modern, very clean, very cheerful atmosphere, very roomy, good location. Plenty of everything in unit that we needed. We had no disappointments in renting this property at all. Will definitely go back and would definitely highly recommend this to anyone. It is one of, if not the very nicest, places we have ever stayed while vacationing. You will definitely be glad you chose this property.

My family of six enjoyed this property. Wonderful amenities. Huge flat screen televisions made our spring break of NCAA basketball so enjoyable. Pool is one of the best we have ever been to in a condo and property is gated. Very nice that beach access is directly across the road. Nice exercise room on site too. Would recommend to all!

This condo is very beautiful decorated and very relaxing. The view from the the balcony was breath taking. The beds are very comfortable like sleeping at home. The whole feel of the condo makes you feel like you are at home. There are great restaurants very close by. There are tons of different things to do in the area. I have rented several condos in Destin and Panama City Beach, but this was the best and I felt more rested after this stay in this condo than ever before.

Fun Family Vacation

Our family had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful condo in late July 2010. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcomed to their beach home. In the weeks prior to our trip they kept us informed of beach conditions (our trip was during the oil spill), provided us with a list of fun things for our family to do on our trip, and even found a pet friendly hotel for us to spend the night at on our way to Florida. The condo is absolutely amazing, exactly as it appears in the pictures! My 8 year old daughter fell in love with her beach inspired bedroom and built-in bed. My 6 year old son enjoyed playing games on the Play Station and, oddly enough, he enjoyed taking warm baths with his boats in the sunken tub in the master bath. My husband was in awe of the big flat screen TV's in every room, complete with DVR to record all of his usual shows. I loved waking up every morning to the beautiful beach view outside our bedroom. The gated property was very family oriented and quiet. We never had to fight for a spot on the beach as two chairs and an umbrella were waiting for us each morning. There were always plenty of chairs at the pool as well, and plenty of room for our children to swim. We have enjoyed many beach vacations in the past, but Destin's beaches truly are different from the others. We were amazed at how clear and crystal blue the water was. We would highly recommend renting a pontoon boat and spending a day at Shell Island. It's like a a playground in the ocean complete with ice cream boats and lots of crabs for crab races! The Baytowne Wharf is another big hit with kids. The Sandestin Outlet Mall is within minutes of the condo where we found amazing back-to-school bargains on clothes for our children. McGuire's Irish Pub is a must see - very quirky so kids will love it, and it's a great place to eat. The condo was so beautiful and comfortable that there were nights when we just stayed home with our dogs. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a night in. Kenny D's is within walking distance of the condo and has terrific New Orlean style food. We were blessed with gorgeous weather during our vacation, but even if it had rained, I wouldn't have minded taking a day of napping and reading in the comforts of our home for the week. It was very hard to leave such a wonderful place. We are planning to return next summer. I highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great vacation.
