My wife and I recently stayed here for a month to visit family and friends and found this to be the perfect location for our visit. The unit itself is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The location is also very central to many different areas of Vancouver and there are a lot of amenities within easy walking distance. While located on a busy street, the soundproofing in the building is excellent and traffic noise was never an issue. The owners are very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. All in all, a great experience.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

I had the pleasure of staying at this condo for 8 months. It was clean, well maintained, and very secure with an alarm system. There is a beautiful, functioning, warm propane stove and modern washer and dryer. The courtyard is a splendour of colour in the springtime and summer and impeccably groomed. The condo is a stone's throw from the seawall where you can run forever without traffic lights. It is a few blocks from Granville Island with all the amenities there. There are many restaurants nearby and a female fitness centre across the street. I absolutely loved my stay and the owners are very helpful to answer any questions. It is very close to VGH making it perfect for medical rotations or fellowships.Owner response: Thank you for your kind words! It was a pleasure having you at our condo. To clarify: the warm propane stove is a gas fireplace. It throws a nice amount of heat, which is cozy for the winter months. All the best to you!

This condo is fantastic. It is really spacious and features a den as well as a living area and office nook which is great when you are more than one person. It is beautifully decorated and the owner has great style. There are two flat screen tvs, a really comfy bed, a gorgeous and nicely renovated bathroom with a separate soaker tub and shower. The condo is really clean and well maintained. Everything is in perfect condition and extremely clean. The location is also amazing.. you are minutes from Granvillle Island and you are a two minute walk to Granville Street where you can hop on a bus downtown. It really is so convenient to everything. There are also noise blocking drapes in the rooms, so the traffic noise did not bother me in the least.I reccommend this hotel wholeheartedly. The owners are great to deal with. Oh, and the gas fireplace was so cosy. My husband and I loved having a glass of wine at the end of the day in front of the fire. I had a fabulous stay!Did you find this review helpful? This is a great condo for people looking for a comfortable place to stay whether they are in Vancouver for vacation or work. Excellent proximity to Granville Island, downtown, waterfront for walking or running, and bus routes. I stayed for 2 months and loved being able to walk or take the bus to work and around the city - it is easily accessable to VGH, BC Women's and Children's and St. Paul's Hospital. The condo is very comfortable and has everything you could need for a short or long stay. Although it faces a fairly busy street, the street noise at night was barely noticable. I found the area very safe and had no concerns. I would definitely stay again, and recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to downtown or might be in the area working at or visiting any of the hospitals.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+.

Rented in May 2011. Even before the rental, the owner were upfront about new issues (e.g. ongoing renovations at building, soon to be finished) which I would experience during my stay, which I appreciated. Was there upon my arrival & helped me settle in. Things that were different than I anticipated were: street the property is next to is relatively busy so there is some background street/vehicle noise; on the plus side, the property is brighter than appears in the photographs, and the living room window opens to greenery in the inner courtyard of the condo. Would stay again. Thanks!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.

I stayed at the apartment for 7 weeks in September and October 2010. I needed to be close to VGH and it served me perfectly being only a 12-20 minute walk away (depending on which hospital building I needed to be in). The place is beautifully decorated, clean, cozy and very comfortable. It has all the necessary cooking utelsils, dinnerware, drinnkware and cutlery. There is a convenient parking space available. The area itself is very nice, with beautiful buildings and views of downtown Vancouver. Many shops and restaurants around. Appeared to be very safe. There are a few grocery stores close by (minutes by car, 20 minutes walking). Overall I was very happy with the apartment and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. It was a pleasure dealing with the owner.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My daughter and I are very impressed and feel lucky to find this condo. It is big, beautiful, clean, and equipped with all the modern technology. The area is safe, nice, and quiet. Many bus stops are nearby, so, it is pretty easy to go to Down town and any popular tourist spots. Granville Island is pretty close and we always enjoyed nice fruits and vegetable from the market. People aroud here are nice and helpful, so my daughter enjoyed many summer activities here. We are also impressed with owner's hospitality. The first day of our arrival, she explained how to use all the facility in the condo very nicely, and after she left, we found some fruits in a fruit bascket on the kitchen counter for us. It is very nice feeling to be cared. During our stay, she kindly made sure we were doing well too. We felt so safe and we were totally happy. My daughter and I can not wait to go back again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed here for six weeks, late winter 2010. We needed to be close to Vancouver General, without many or any other considerations. This apartment was our dream answer, allowing us to focus on our primary concern while also able to simply move in and live, very comfortably indeed. As everyone else observes, every conceiveable need is met by this meticulously stocked and maintained unit. It's proximity to so many good parts of Vancouver was ideal. We could leave our car safely parked in the underground garage and walk comfortably to more amenities than we ever needed. We still miss the wonderful access to Granville Island and it's market. Our hostess was exceptionally considerate, prompt to respond to any need we expressed. We could not have asked for (nor found) a more perfect solution to our needs in every way imaginable, and when we left, we felt we were leaving 'home'. Highest reccommendation, excellent value.
