A perfect place to stay in Paris
WHERE? In front of the new opera of Paris, close to the Bastille. The neighborhood in the cultural heart of Paris with lots of great restaurants, lounges, night clubs, bars, shopping, and art galleries.
The building is just steps from the metro station (Bastille), direct to the Chatelet (Notre Dame), the Champs Elysees, the Louvre Museum... and walking distance to the place des Vosges. It is a very safe and convenient place with a typical Parisian food market open 6 days week just 5 mn walks.
THE APARTMENT: It is a one-bedroom of 54 m2 (580 ft2) in a typical Parisian building from the 19th century with a digicode and an interphone. 5th and last floor (with lift). Very clear and quiet. Professionally renovated and designed apartment. Wooden beams.
THE AMENITIES: The apartment is fully furnished to accommodate up to 4 persons. All the linen is provided: sheets, duvets and pillows, towels and dishtowels. Everything new.
Bedroom: queen size bed and a wardrobe.
Living room: double sofa-bed, dining table with 4 chairs, coffee table, radio-CD player, television set
Kitchen: fully equipped with a fridge with freezer, a four burner electric stove, a microwave, an oven, and dishwasher. All the dishes are provided as well as cooking essentials (salt, pepper, oil, tea, sugar, coffee).
PHONE AND WEB : free phone for France (except cell phones) and the States (regular + cells); DSL and Wifi included in the rent.

I have rented several apartments in Paris and this is the best. It is comfortable, attractive and well-equipped. The area is close to good places to visit as well as lots of transportation. The street markets are great entertainment as well as sources of good things. Catherine and Thierry are kind and thoughtful hosts.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

My friend and I stayed at this apartment for 4 nights. We would highly recommend staying here. Thierry was very nice and helpful in giving us directions and transportation info. The apartment is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to the metro. You can also get to many places just on foot from here. My friend and I are in are 50's and had no problem feeling safe at any time of day or evening. Everything in the apartment is clean and the kitchen was wonderful. I doubt we will ever stay in a hotel again!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.
