Bahama Beach Club -Free Secure Wifi and Long Distance Phone Service
- Minimum stay:N/A
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:Yes
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Please note- owner provides free long distance anywhere in the world and free secure WiFi. These services are provided by unit 2014 and have nothing to do with the general rental pool at the beach club. Beautiful beachfront condominium on one of the most beautiful beaches. Vaulted ceilings - Bahamian style decor. Onsite pool, hot tub. Comfortable lanai. Fully equipped kitchen, linens and complimentary toiletries provided. Daily maid service available. Convenient to nearby Cays for day trips to Hopetown, Green Turtle, and Guana Cays.
Umbrellas and loungers provided around pool area and on beach. Crystal blue waters and pristine sunsets - a 'family island' with the friendliest people in the Caribbean. Rental boats and golf carts available nearby.
We can highly recommend Treasure Sands beach front restaurant located near the security gate. They have a superb menu and excellent wines. For local fare we recommend Touch of Class for Bahamian cuisine. The CoCo beach bar has a great BBQ night on Tuesdays and every Thursday is Pizza night at the Tipsy Seagull over looking the marina. Please patronize Treasure Cay local restaurants. They do an excellent job. For a nice dinner experience we can recommend Spinnaker Restaurant. And steak night at Bluff House in Green Turtle Cay is offered certain times

We were there Feb 17-25 . Amazingly warm weather for this time of year . Sunny all 8 days . The only knock i had for whole trip was water pressure is a bit low but i'm accustomed to showers that pin you to wall in our town in NY where water pressure very high . I've been to Treasure Cay before and i can assure you Bahamas Beach Club is the spot to be . People in other complexes actually come over and 'join' the BBC so they too can use facilities but the pool areas and beaches were very light last week despite it being peak holiday week ( Presidents week ) . BBC has specialty dinner nights ( steak night on Friday , grill night on Sarturday , and italian night one other night ) . Make sure you go either 30 minutes early ( 6pm ) or go late ( 8-8:30pm ) as service is a disaster in between ( especially if you have kids ) . BBC should really open the wonderful pavillion they have by newer pool every night and just serve the lunch menu in the evening .... Lunch menu served at other pool pretty good by Abaco standards . Grouper sandwich / fingers were awesome ! Eating in Abaco is a problem ! Its expensive and service is slow . The supermarket in town well stocked so its no problem eating at home and this condo had everything we needed to do that a few nights . BBC is where folks from other condos come to eat so you know you're in right spot . Beach out front just spectacular . Its why you pay up to fly to Abaco . Be sure to turn right and walk to Windward Point where at low tide you can wander out a few hundred yards looking for sand dollars . One final note ? THAT FREE CAB RIDE TO/FROM AIRPORTS IS A VERY IMPORTANT EXTRA ! YOU SAVE $200 IF GOING/COMING FROM MARSH HARBOR ! AND THEIR SPECIAL CAB DRIVER (Sidney Hart ) IS THE BEST OF THE LOT ! Friends in other units had problems finding a cab to airport last day and we gave them Sidney's number and he took care of all of them ! Do not underestimate this special extra the Gilberts offer you ! Be sure to get on over to Great Guana Cay to do at least one day at Nippers as well as have a cushy lunch/dinner at the new ultra-high end Baker's Bay Club on north end of the island . Go now before the billionaires build all their mansions and they stop welcoming folks like us that wandered in by boat and got treated like rock stars !Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This unit is attractively decorated, had ample space for us 4, & can handle 4-6 adults comfortably. The view over pool, bar, and beach are lovely from this unit, and BBC has the best spot in T.Cay. Other units had owners or renters traveling in groups, or celebrating Xmas holidays loudly, staying up much later than us; if you choose to leave screens open, you can hear other units & bar area easily in horseshoe configuration. (Loud family downstairs, under this unit; adult children playing yard games on Xmas Day after midnight?) The unit was clean upon arrival, but had bare minimum sundries stocked. Believe some inconsistency between maid and owner's expectations. We had to hurry to store on arrival day due to no back up toilet paper, garbage can liners, paper towels, & a couple other basics that I would have brought from home instead of paying 10x's the amt in local grocer. This unit was not maintained by front desk service(some are), so when 2 out of 3 TVs didn't work, and the washing machine flooded, no one was on staff to help us over the Xmas Day & Boxing Day holidays. Owners were communicative, but we had 4 days w/out clean bath or beach towels before hauling 2 baskets of clothing to laundromat. This is my 2nd trip to Treasure Cay, so accustomed to Bahamian customer service (and lack of). And my 3rd use of VRBO in 3 different countries, so know what to expect in rental units. This was the only time a condo rental didn't have someone to take care of upcoming emergencies. I won't rent from you again w/out ensuring maintenance or mgt. is in place next time. The staff @ BBC was great, the food okay & sometimes good. Coco Beach restaurant was very good lunch. The Treasure Sands Club has a beautiful location on north end of beach/bay, excellent menu, and special desserts. Visiting neighboring cays by ferry or boat offer more lunch options. On Elbow Cay, we TRULY enjoyed "On Da Beach" for lunch/drinks/oceanfront view, a short bike ride from Hope Town;excellent owners & food. Green Turtle Club & Marina's restaurant was very fresh w/ pleasant service. At BBC, a reunion group occupied the restaurant/bar areas some evenings w/ private parties (til 2am one night). An advanced notice/communication to renters w/b appreciated to make other dining plans, due to few dining options in T.Cay, especially over the holidays. Tipsy's bar @ T.Cay Marina had great food & excellent service; preferred to Spinnaker's. Very good Pizza Night on Thursdays! Pretty unit & place.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We rented this unit on a recent visit to the Bahama Beach Club for a friend's wedding. What a beautiful place to stay! The unit was extremely clean and comfortable. The large porch overlooks the beach and pool area. The staff at the resort were friendly and welcoming. We couldn't have imagined a better place to stay. When our flight home was unexpectedly cancelled, the owners were very flexible and accommodating. Much to do on the island including great swimming, beaches, snorkeling, and places to eat. Would recommend bringing cash for expenses (don't bank on ATM being close by) and some non-perishable food. We caught ferries just north of Treasure Cay and in Marsh Harbor (near Curly Tails restaurant - YUM) for day trips to Green Turtle Cay and Great Guana Cay (snorkeling in both places was amazing). We had the best trip. Hopefully, we can come back soon! Thanks Sandra and Bob!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful 10 days in Treasure Cay. It really is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Our stay in unit 2014 was fabulous. The condo has everything you could need and was very comfortable. Added bonuses are the free Wifi and free international calling system. It was just like home without the snow! Thank you again for sharing your home away from home with us.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

What a great place in Treasure Cay! The children loved snorkeling along the beach, and my wife and I certainly enjoyed cold drinks by the pool. We especially liked that the pool and beach were just steps from the condo door! We have stayed in a number of places and were really pleased that this condo was exactly as advertised -- super clean, nicely decorated and close to the beach, restaurants, pool and fishing. It is so nice to find a place that has a lot to do and still is peaceful and private. We will definitely come back here next year. Thank You!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Year Purchased: 2001
About the owner: We are Bob and Sandra Gilbert. We live in Charleston, SC and in Treasure Cay, Abaco. Our first trip to Treasure Cay was on our boat in 2000. Bahama Beach Club was under construction and we immediately fell in love with the view from the upstairs units. We purchased ours on the spot and have been returning to Treasure Cay ever since. We now own a home in Treasure and the condo is there for our rental guests and family members. It is our goal to make our rental guests vacations as comfortable and as memorable as possible. We set our condo up with numerous amenities you won't normally find. We are boaters and Treasure Cay is the perfect location for getting out in a boat and island hopping. The boat rental agencies here have great boats for daily, weekly, or monthly rentals. We never tire of visiting the other cays and always discover somethng new with each trip. We have set up a guest guide specifically for our rental guests to help them get the most from their time in Treasure Cay. Now Treasure Cay is home to us - we spend 80% of our time here and have many friends in the local community.
Why the Owner Chose Treasure Cay:
On our first visit to Treasure Cay we immediately fell in love with the gorgeous views from the lanai, with the laid back atmosphere of the area and the warm and friendly people of Abaco.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Relax in our 'Bahamian style' decor and get a feel for the beautiful tropical atmosphere surrounding the property.
