Enjoy sitting on the deck, swinging on the covered porch, or reclining in the home's Great Room while gazing upon beautiful Birch Lake. The home has 100 feet of lake frontage and a beautifully landscaped private back yard.
Michigan's Grand Traverse Bay and a beautiful waterfront park are a short walk out your front door. The quaint village of Elk Rapids, with its many shops, restaurants, and beaches, is only 2 miles away. From the Elk Rapids Marina boaters may access Grand Traverse Bay en route to the Leelanau Peninsula or travel east through the "chain of lakes', which includes Torch Lake, one of the largest fresh water lakes in the world.
Travel by car is just as easy. Traverse City is 23 miles south and sits at the base of the Leelanau Peninsula the number one tourist destination in the state of Michigan. Head north along Michigan's Grand Traverse Bay and discover the bayfront cities of Charlevoix (33 miles) and Petoskey (50 miles) Twenty minutes further north and you arrive in Mackinaw City, home of the Mackinaw Bridge with connects Michigan's lower and upper Peninsula and world famous Mackinaw Island.
