Paradise on Okaloosa Island!!

Renting this condo is a win/win situation - an amazing location right on the beach - a spacious home-like accommodation - an easily accessible owner in case of any untowards problems (which we have yet to find). Wonderful vacation

I cannot say enough good things about this condo and the area that it is located in. I have been coming to Florida each year all of my life. This particular condo was among the top two units that we have stayed in. I would rate it number one due to how close it is to the actual beach. The unit itself was absolutely beautiful and had every amenity that anyone could hope for. Most importantly, the owner was one of those people that you feel like you have known for years after one conversation. She went out of her way to insure that everything was available that we needed and is truly a kind and caring human being. Renting her home is more than a business to her in my opinion; she truly wants to insure that everyone who stays in her home has a memorable vacation. We intend to return next year and will hopefully be able to get this unit. We are clean fanatics, and her home was nothing short of immaculate. Everyone in my family agrees with my opinions and each of us thank her for her kindness, caring, and willingness to share such a beautiful home.

When we arrived at this condo and open the door everyone paused then proceeded through the entryway and into the condo. This condo is breathtakingly beautiful. It was exactly as describe and so much more. Not one disappointment here. I have traveled and stayed in many hotel rooms and grew up in the hotel/motel business in Gatlinburg, TN. My family owns over a dozen hotels, a bed & breakfast and another twenty or so rental cabins. I cleaned many of them growing up and have stayed in the best rentals throughout the US. Make no mistake I am very critical and always inspect every room or condo I stay in for cleanliness, furnishings, decor, view, accessibility and non working and working amenities. This condo was top notch and in my opinion a FIVE STAR condo in every aspect. The grounds were well kept, the pool was just the right tempter with crystal blue water, front door parking and two elevators plus loads of DVD retails, refreshment machines, pleasant and personable staff on the beach. The views were second to none not only from the front but also from the back. Wow, simply put wondrous! The condo felt like home with all the extras that makes a vacation easy and pleasant. The kitchen is fully stocked with every cooking utensils, pots, dishes, blenders, toaster, coffee maker, two full size refrigerators with an extra and independent ice maker that was over the top for convinces of filling ice chests for the beach, outings or making frozen drinks. I was so impressed with the ice maker that I am planning on buying one for my kitchen. The owner is also very personable and easy to converse with and is always just a phone call away. How great is that in this day of electronic answering services? Five Stars again. I looked at and researched reviews of well over a hundred rentals before booking this rental and this condo stood above and beyond all the others. I will be returning in the spring and I am so glad that I found this diamond in the ruff. With the upmost Respect, T. H.

My friends and I just returned home from a short stay at this condo. The view from the balcony is spectacular. The building is well cared for and very close to the beach. We had a wonderful time.

We had a large group of 4 adults and 7 kids and had plenty of room. The condo was clean, and well kept. It was wonderful! We especially loved the balcony. When we arrived, the chair in the living room was damaged, but when we called Angela about it she replaced it for us immediately with a brand new chair. We had a wonderful time and made many great memories! Thank you Angela for sharing your piece of paradise!

This condo is awesome! The view from the large balcony is one in a million! Our vacation consisted of me, my husband, my Mom (74+) and my niece (16). This was my niece's first time seeing the ocean in her life and being able to share the experience with her was wonderful! If you are looking for a home away from home this condo is for you! It is by far one of the best condos I've stayed at in FL. It was my little slice of heaven for a week. I do have to give praise to the icemaker, it was great for mixed drinks, sodas and the occasional small ice chest to take bottle water down to the beach! Thank you again Angela!!!!!

A Fabulous Place for a Family Vacation!

We recently spent a fantastic week soaking up the sun and playing in the sand (all spotless!) while staying at Angela's beautiful condo. We had absolutely everything we needed for entertaining our two married daughters and our five grandsons. All furnishings, kitchen appliances, utensils, and linens were not only provided but were just beautiful! This condo was a perfect choice for us. Thank you, Angela, for a very memorable vacation with our family. We definitely plan to come back!

Hi Angela, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. By far it was the best condo we have ever stayed in before. Everyone enjoyed it! The pictures are great but do not do it justice, You just have to see it, I loved the shiny tile floors. And the huge balcony with the spectacular view was awesome!. We are staying at this property, midway thru our 8 days here. We have stayed many places here in FWB but this is our new vacation home. This home is amazing. The owner is local which beats our last condo stay where we had an issue and the owner was 2 states away and couldnt help. (no issues at this one, for sure!) We are going to leave reluctantly.

We loved it! We took our 3 young children, and another couple with 3 children, and there was so much room for the kids to play and run around. Everything we needed was provided, and great tub to wash the sands off little bottoms (and big ones, too!). The beach is great with soft, white sands so no feet were burning! Area is great and close to necessities. Great running/jogging area. Will return! Thanks so much!

We had a PERFECT time in your condo! We rented the condo for my in-laws who live in Tennessee. We didn't tell them they would be staying on the beach and they were thrilled to learn of our "big news". All of them cried and were very grateful of our gesture. Then when we actually walked into the 7th floor condo they were blown away! They even have aspirations to copy some of the decorator touches in the kitchen and bathrooms! The balcony was absolutely amazing and what a view! We spent most of our time out there watching dolphins and eventually the high surf from Hurricane Ike. Eventhough I live and work in Ft Walton, it was nice to experience a vacation through the eyes of our family who has never been to the ocean before. Thank you so much for offering such a lovely condo! The in-laws have decided to make this a yearly event so expect a call next year from the Cowans!

Angela, We had a wonderful time in your beautiful condo. It was just as beautiful as the pictures displayed. The beach was extremely close and absolutely gorgeous. The complimentary beach service was excellent. The best part was the oversized balcony! We took several walks up and down the beach and didn't come across another condo with as large of a balcony! Definately a plus! We had a very wonderful time and would definately return again!

This is our 12th year staying at Island Echo but our first in this particular condo. We have agreed it was the nicest one we have ever stayed in, with every convenience offered. We loved the how all furniture, appliances were updated and new. Bathrooms were out of this world, always a big plus in my book, having an updated bathroom with space. The extras such as an extra refrigerator and ice maker as well as the extra beds just added that extra convenience that pushed our stay over the edge. We will definitely try to get this particular condo in the future.

I was born in Fort Walton and had to move away years ago. I enjoy visiting family and friends and after many stays have found the place I will always return. The condo is a sheer delight and beautifully furnished. There was nothing we lacked - the kitchen provided everything we could have possibly needed. The patio is spectacular and we spent most of our time just enjoying the view. Thank you, Angela, for your superb hospitality and for opening your home for us to enjoy. Dear Angela: We really had a wonderful stay in your beautiful condo. The time was way too short and definitely need to stay longer next time. I am showing everyone the pictures. Your condo was superb. The pictures are just like the condo. It was so tastefully decorated. We felt we were in the luxury place we had always wanted to stay and yet felt right at home at the same time. We had everything we could have possibly needed. I brought some extras in case but you had everything! Our friends were wondering what we did all day and we'd tell them, enjoy the condo and taking pictures on the fabulous large balcony overlooking the beautiful beach. Every morning I could look out from the master bedroom and see the Gulf with waves rolling in and out and every night I took a last glimpse at those waves rocking me to sleep. Wish I had that scenery every nite! In the mornings I grabbed my new camera and took full advantage of shooting the turquoise water. I can't begin to tell you how relaxing my husband and I both felt. I almost cried leaving such a relaxing place. Everything is located so close to the condo. We took a brief ride to Destin but came right back to eat in FWB and back to our beautiful condo. We found nice restaurants to eat all around us in FWB and also enjoyed fixing a few meals and snacks in our condo especially breakfast or brunch. The large balcony was wonderful especially being able to use from the living room or bedroom. I took tons of pics of the beautiful sea birds. I took the Gulf in various stages. I took pics to the west even as far as Navarre Beach and on the east side toward Destin, we could see the fishing pier and more. The elevators were great. The luggage and grocery carts were a lifesaver to check in & out. We are so happy we chose to go with you. You were a great pleasure to work with. Thank You so much for a dream vacation although way too short . Already dreaming for more. Other goodies: Short new walkway to beach-esp. good for elderly or handicapped. Bar area w/beautiful glasses; Beautiful view of bay and Fort Walton at front door. Nicest entry for a front door, extra wide w/ bench. Chairs & Umbrella on beach. We enjoyed the pool just down below us whether in it or looking down at it, lol.. We loved the 7th floor as I found it perfect to see everything. Dora & Juan Houma, LA
