Location: Sayulita, Costa Vallarta North, Nayarit, Banderas Bay (Puerto Vallarta Area), Mexico (25 miles north of Puerto Vallarta airport)

Our Non-Smoking home is located only two short blocks from the center of town on the exclusive south shore. It is an easy flat walk to town via the beach or the beach road. We rent two guest rooms adjoining the main house and the casita which is located just behind and separate from the main house. In front of the main house overlooking the ocean is the pool and front terraces. These are common areas shared by our guests.

Even though we are in the center of everything our walled and gated compound offers total privacy and security. The house was designed by a local architect who lives a stones throw from here. The concept was to retain the original Mexican style while incorporating modern ideas. The grounds have 14 coconut palms and extensive gardens with lush tropical plants, flowers, waterfalls and fountains. The guest rooms and the casita have been decorated with wonderful and colorful original art from local and international artists.

The Guest Rooms...There are two air conditioned guest rooms that adjoin the main house each with a private entrance. Both rooms have double doors which you can totally open to the ocean breezes and sounds of the waves and birds as they fly overhead. During the season we live in the main house with our two bichon dogs, Maddie and Suzy. We are very respectful of your privacy and enjoy sharing our stories of living in Mexico for 10 years.

Guest Room 1...has a sunny and shady area on the terrace overlooking both the pool and the ocean. The terrace has a dining table and lounge chairs with umbrellas. Sun or shade - it's your choice. There is a fresh air bathroom and alfesco shower. It has a small refrigerator, coffee pot and a few dishes for cold meals. Laying in bed you can view the ocean through the palm trees and feel the caressing breezes. With folding doors you can open your room totally up to the outdoors and just relax.

Guest Room 2...has 2 terraces. One is in front of the guest room and the other is off to the side. The side terrace is approximately 500 square feet and has both sunny and shady areas. This allows you to sun on the lounge chairs or relax in the shaded sitting area. From here you can watch the surfers or fishermen and have a fabulous view of the coastline. Also included are a full size refrigerator, wet bar, coffee pot and dishes for a cold meal.


The Casita... This is a newly renovated three bedroom home situated behind the main house in a beautiful tropical garden. On the first floor there are 2 air conditioned bedrooms, a queen and a double, and a living room, dining area, complete kitchen, and bath with a shower. From the outdoor living area on the second level you can enjoy fabulous views of the ocean and town while you sun or relax under the palapa roof. There is another full bath with shower on this level. Nestled under the palapa roof is a loft with a king sized bed. It is very quiet and private and decorated with the same exacting standards as the main house with original art, high quality linens, and all the 'extras.' This room is very beautiful and romantic.
