My friends, my dad, and I enjoyed an amazing weekend at this cabin in celebration of my dad's birthday. We had a relatively large group and this cabin provided us the ability to sleep everyone in a bed and enjoy the great outdoors. The cabin itself has nice common areas and a wonderful screened in porch which we utilized to enjoy the meals we cooked at the house. The huge yard in both back and front was wonderful and came in handy for a game of football, and catch. Additionally, the firepit directly off the lake provided a great spot to enjoy the evenings. I would certainly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away from the city for a nice weekend with a group of friends. It is only 3 hours away from Chicago, and about 4 coming from St. Paul. It can accommodate a large group and has great space to enjoy the outdoors during your stay. The rental process was straight forward and the family who owns the cabin is very easy to work with. We had a wonderful time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

My husband and I spent a quiet, relaxing get-away on the lake. The facility was clean and easily accessible. We spent time walking across the frozen lake and enjoyed hot cocoa when we returned as we enjoyed the setting sun. The morning sunrise was equally spectacular. We could have invited the kids and grandkids because the home is quite spacious, but we enjoyed our quiet escape. We're hoping to return in the fall. Maybe we'll throw a line in and try our hand at fishing!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Gorgeous! I needed a break from it all and this was it! A quick jaunt from Milwaukee and I was there! Awesome porch and deck that looks out over the lake. Quiet neighbors. Plenty of room to bring the family and then some! No fighting over bathrooms in this house. A year round house, not just summer, so has everything you need! Would recommend in a minute!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We loved staying here! The screened porch was perfect for having meals and playing board games, while enjoying the view. The place was very clean and spacious. Our kid really liked the huge backyard and the water. We highly recommend this property for anyone who wants a relaxing vacation :).Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
