This beautiful Deer Valley condo was recently remodeled and includes two master suites, jetted tubs, high end fixtures, granite counter tops, full gourmet kitchen, stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, washer/dryer and a private patio with hot tub.

We (4 adults and 1 child) had an incredible stay. This condo is excellent, we loved all the upgrades it features (hot tub with partial, but still beautiful view of the mountain; memory foam beds, décor, etc). It is very close (3-4 min walking in the ski boots) to the mid-mountain lifts. The Silver Lake village was less crowded than the base of the mountains and had a charming European ambiance. Thank you, Emily, we truly enjoyed staying at your condo and highly recommend it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We recently spent our spring break at this property. Of course the skiing was unbeatable at Deer Valley- the free ski valet/storage is a wonderful amenity, and the location of this Lodge was as close to ski in and ski out as you could get, with rentals and lift access literally a hop and skip away- easy access even with young kids. The condo was very comfortable and convenient, and we particularly enjoyed the delivery of the New York Times each morning as well as the private hot tub right outside the back door each afternoon. The beds were super-comfy, the bathrooms were beautiful, the washer and dryer a luxury to have, and the owners even provided a sound station for our Ipod. Although we would have happily stayed in every night to relax by the gas fireplace or eat at the restaurants within walking distance, we really enjoyed being able to park our rental car in the provided underground space so that we could easily explore Park City and the surrounding area (we really enjoyed the Olympic Park) whenever we felt the urge. The owners were professional and easy to work with; we would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Thank you, Emily, for the beautiful and comfortable accommodations for our ski vacation! We had everything we needed and loved the luxurious touches throughout the cabin. It was great to be located so convenient to the ski lifts and Deer Valley skiing was phenomenal. Thanks, also for your prompt attention to our minor, unexpected plumbing problem - it didn't hinder our wonderful experience at all. We had a great stay at Black Bear Lodge. The location is extremely convenient, a short walk from Silverlake to jump on the lift or grab a drink at Stein Eriksen. The condo is beautifully decorated with a luxury modern kitchen - looks brand new. We had a couple of problems with the fireplace, but the staff was very responsive and were able to fix it quickly. And they even let us have a late check-out so we could squeeze in one more day of skiing. We'd definitely return!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

About the owner: Hello and Welcome to Deer Valley! My name is Emily and I live and work in Park City, Utah. I made the decision to own at Black Bear Lodge because of it's beautiful location in the Silver Lake Village area of Deer Valley Resort. Silver Lake Village is only 5 minutes from downtown Park City, but I always feel like I'm on vacation when I stay for a weekend getaway. I work in real estate and after having the opportunity to see everything available on the market, I chose the Black Bear Lodge because of it's great value (relative to other properties in the Silver Lake Area), ease of access to lifts, and numerous fine dining options nearby.
Why the Owner Chose Black Bear Lodge:
The Silver Lake area is styled after a European village and is home to several of the state's best restaurants as well as a few shops, and sporting goods stores.
The Black Bear Lodge is walking distance to Deer Valley's Silver Lake Day Lodge, so if you're willing to walk about 2 minutes to the slopes, you can enjoy all that Silver Lake Village has to offer without paying ski-in/ski-out rates. Deer Valley Resort offers free overnight ski storage (you can even have your skiis waxed each night for about $5) so you don't need to worry about carrying your equipment back and forth during your stay.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Don't visit Deer Valley without trying the brunch at the Stein Eriksen Lodge located directly across the street! I also recommend dining at Deer Valley's Mariposa restaurant, Cena Italian restaurant at the Chateaux, or the Goldener Hirsch restaurant, all within walking distance.
