We just came back from staying in this home for nine days with a group that included two couples, one mother-in-law, and a good hiking buddy. This house was perfect for us because the single person could stay in the sun room with floor to ceiling windows all around. It was truly gorgeous in the morning as the sun crept over the Organ Mts. to the east of Las Cruces. We had numerous group dinners around the dining room table finally squeezing in nine people when a few other parts of the family visited. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, and plenty of spices plus a dishwasher. The large yard was a plus as well as the easy walk to the street above for another view of the rising sun. Although slightly out of town, we enjoyed the feeling of being in the country. I highly recommend this home for a sunny winter vacation in Las Cruces.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.

I spent a number of days in NM staying at this property! What a peaceful and relaxing visit to Las Cruces area while finding relaxing peaceful comfort of this home. While staying busy during the day, visiting and working, I was able to find relaxing surroundings in the residence. The location of the property is absolutely charming and well maintained. While away from the major roads and the noise of the highways - it is close to the mountains and the local farms that provide a simple enjoyment of a country living. I do highly recommend this property for anyone who considers to visit and stay in Las Cruces area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We spent ten days at this wonderful quiet home in January. The house is well equipped, it is cozy and has all the amenities one needs to feel at home. It is an easy short ride to the mountains and/or Mesilla, the old part of Las Cruces. Las Cruces has more to offer than we ever had expected including a great farmer"s market with local produces and organic meat plus local crafts. We hiked in the mountains and afterwards soaked in a hot mineral bath near by.The sun room gave me a great space to paint with perfect light coming in. We can only recommend this place highly.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
We enjoy the serenity of the location in the foothills of Picacho Peak Robledo Mountains. It is a semi-rural area, there are agricultural farms, horse farms and always the fantastic view of the Organ Mountains. The home is spacious, the property is filled with over 50 Afghan Pine tress and Oleander bushes which bloom in spring and summer. The location is close to fine dining, many artistic venues, numerous outdoor activities. The historic old town of Mesilla is only a short drive where one can participate in the Mexican traditions during holidays. For those who love to hike, the Organ and Franklin Mountains are a short distance away. The Picacho Peak is also a great hike.
