This is your place if you love nature. The Rookery offers a quiet beach stay. This lovely cottage is located next to the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge. It has 3 bedroom ( 2 queen beds and a convertible style) and two full baths. Large kitchen with full size stove and refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, every thing you will need to cook a meal. Full size washer/Dryer. The screened in porch just makes things perfect to relax and take a nap. Only steps to the pool or short walk to the larger heated pool, tiki bar and hot tub. The beach access is across Fort Morgan Hwy. Turn left leaving the Rookery, go 1/2 block and turn left on Cortez. The beach is straight ahead. Driving time about 5 minutes. Close to walking trails, boating, fishing, golf. If you love history you are about 4 miles from the old Ft Morgan Fort and Ferry. Take a ride on the Mobile Ferry to Daulphin Island where you can visit Fort Grains and Sea Lab. Must be 25 years old to rentNon smoking unit

WE STAYED AT THIS LOCATION LAST YEAR AT THE END OF JULY BEGINNING OF AUGUST. IT WAS AWERSOME. JUST SO COZY AND CLEAN. LOVED IT. RECOMMENDS THIS UNIT TO ANYONE. WE HAVE A SET OF 2 YEAR OLD TWINS THEN. THEY LOVED IT.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
