  There are not enough words to describe this excellent home! We traveled to Florida over spring break to take the kids to Disney World. There were six of us in total (ranging from 5 years old to 67 years old) and this home was the perfect size. There was more than enough room for all of us. The pictures do not do it justice! The home is large with a great layout, clean, comfortable, quiet, cozy, efficient - equipped with everything you need in terms of the kitchen utensils and linens. The pool area was beyond our expectations. Great west view to Tower Lake. The pool and spa were the perfect size and the kids must have logged 60 hours of swimming in 6 days - they preferred it to Disney World! The home is conveniently located close to grocery stores. Disney was 20 minutes away but did not feel like a 20 minute drive. The Premium Outlets were only about 20 minutes away and we found some great dining options in Celebration and Winter Haven - again only a short drive away. We found ourselves eating in most often; however, as we did not want to leave the house! The owners are fantastic to deal with. They are very on top of things and in very close contact. Their system for checking in and checking out was so easy!! Wonderful, wonderful people to work with!!!! I would recommend this home to anyone looking to travel to the Orlando area. Should we be looking at a return trip, this will be the home we will first look to for a rental. Just a great, great, great home!!! We miss it a lot already!!!!

  Bill was very easy to get ahold of, I had questions before booking, after the booking and once we got to his house. He is just an email or a phone call away. There were 8 of us that stayed in the house. It had plenty of room, and the kids had a blast. The game room was a huge bonus. The kids loved the pool and hot tub as well. We had a great vacation and the rental house was perfect.

  The owners were great to work with! Everything about this rental, from the time we reserved it to check out, was so easy! We were visiting family in Winter Haven for the holiday so we were looking for something convenient as opposed to specific criteria so that kind of made narrowing our choices down a little more difficult. We chose this house because the owners were incredibly fast to respond to our request for confirmation if the days were still available and are so very glad that we did! The owners were always quick to respond with any questions that we had and they detailed any fees that would be included, as well as possible add-ins, so we knew exactly what to expect. I have to admit, because we were looking for location as opposed to amenities, I didn't even realize there was a game room in the house until the next day - and that's only because I happened to read the VRBO description while waiting for the kids to get ready! Turned out that the house was better than I could have hoped for! I loved that the kitchen opened up to the living room so I was not separated from the family as I cooked and they watched tv.. There was also a tv in every room so everybody was able to have their own private time if they wanted to. My husband and I didn't have enough time to get to enjoy the hot tub but we were able to enjoy the large 2-person garden tub in the main master bath so we were glad for that. Having 2 master bedrooms plus 2 twins beds in the other 2 bedrooms makes this home ideal for two families traveling together. We wanted 4 bedrooms so that each of the boys could have their own room but the 2 younger ones wanted to share so that was nice having that option. The entire house was very spacious and we really liked the fact that the bedrooms weren't all grouped together. We didn't get to enjoy the game room nearly as much as we would have liked but it was definitely great having it available so that the kids weren't just sitting around watching tv. The house was incredibly clean and the "rules" were incredibly detailed so that we knew exactly what we needed to do upon checkout. All in all, we did not set out to find a house this nice during the last minute of holiday travel but are so thankful that we did! I have definitely put this on my list for when we visit again. Both the house and the owners get 5 stars from us!

  The villa was very comfortable and it was like being at home. The villa is very clean and well maintained. The house is even better than the description. I would like to thank Bill for all his help answering my questions . I would definitely recommend this villa to friends and family and will rent again on my next trip to Florida.

  We could not have asked for more, most properties "pad the resume" but Cherokee Villa was as good as described (better actually). While my family and I are familiar with the area it would have been easy to get around if we did not. If you want a quite neighborhood close to all the attractions without being smothered by them, this is your place! Thanks Bill and Beth,

  We rented last minute and were very pleased we stayed here. The place was super clean and very functional. The pool was refreshing and the location is wonderful. The sub division is very quiet and relaxing. The area is very safe and easy to walk around the neighborhood. Bill was a delight to work with and we would love to rent again from him. The furnishings were clean and newer.

  We stayed for a week with our 3 kids. Every child had their own room which is a huge benefit. The place is very roomy and comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the game room. We have stayed at numerous places on VRBO and never found one with a game room so a very nice extra. We went to Disney World one day and it is only about 20 minutes away so we were able to come home in the afternoon to take a break before going back for the evening shows. We had no issues with anything in the house. The keyless entry is very convenient. Having to attain the keys is sometimes difficult with places especially as we came in very late on Saturday night. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

  I stayed here with my two children in mid-March and found the home exactly as described on the VRBO website. Photos were accurate and everything in the kitchen was well-stocked, as stated in the description. The house is close enough to Disney and Legoland to see everything easily while in the area. View from pool over the lake is beautiful, and a great way to have your morning coffee. We enjoyed having a pool and hot tub to come home to every afternoon after leaving the parks. It was perfect! Owners are very communicative and returned my deposit immediatly after we departed. We will be back!

  We really enjoy the more relaxed and spacious atmosphere of a house over a hotel room. The pool was nice for those days when we just wanted to take a few hours to relax after hitting the parks. The owners were very helpful, even checking on us during our stay to make sure everything was okay. And it was. Would rent again. One hint, use Turkey Lake/Palm Pkwy to bypass some of the traffic near the parks. And the nearby Dunkin' Donuts has a very nice selection. :)

  My family came from Brazil and we decided to spend a week in Florida. This house fit like a glove when it came to accommodating the number and ages of people traveling with us (we were 5 adults, one toddler and a baby). The house was in perfect shape, well-presented and very welcoming when we arrived. We enjoyed relaxing at the heated pool and spa after walking all day at the parks. The renter provides everything from towels, bedding, kitchenware and so on. All the appliances in the house are in great shape and clean. The house is conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, and about 20 minutes from downtown Disney. You can't go wrong renting this place.

  A group of Army Soldiers stayed here prior to one of them going on his 4th overseas deployment. The owner was a pleasure talking to, but once we arrived at the house it was disgusting. The thermostat was set to 80 and in a lock box; we called the property manager which didn't know how to reset it, it was cooler outside than in the house. There were dead cockroaches around the house, small ants over ran the kitchen. The cleaning staff did a horrible job cleaning by leaving hair that covered the shower drains; the sheets on the bed had mysterious stains. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable, being in the military we have slept in the worst places that you can imagine and I would rather sleep there instead of these beds. Lastly the property was caught snooping around the home while we were out enjoying Orlando, which left us disappointed knowing that the owner told her to do that. I would NOT recommend this home to anyone.

  Owner response: I am sorry that this renter decided not to give us a good review. From my perspective, the sole reason for this poor review is that I was unable to return his deposit due to damage to our property. I was pleased to be able to give this renter a good deal on the rental, because we support our troops and respect their sacrifice for our country. Unfortunately, he misrepresented the number of and ages of the members in his party. He did report a problem with the setting of the AC, which was quickly resolved, and the presence of one bug. I do contract Terminex for pest control, and no other insects were found. We received no further complaints during their visit, and only positive comments. In the end, our manager discovered damage to the pool table and a carpet, for which the deposit was held back in order to make repairs.

  We had a great time staying in the villa. It was big enough for two families with kids:) The house was well-maintained, with the fully equiped kitchen. The photos reflect the villa accurately. A big thank you to the owners for the help they provided us in any case. I've already recomended the house to lots of my friends :)

  My family really enjoyed our stay at Cherokee Villa. This wonderful home is well adaquate for for anyone looking for a great location that is close to everything, yet still a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. I recommend everyone going twards Orlando to stay here. Two thumbs way up.

  We recently spent spring break at the home with our parents and two kids who are 10 and 6. Our primary reason for coming to the Orlando area was to visit Disney and other parks and found the location and amenities of the home to be absolutely perfect. Our kids loved having access to the pool, game room and their own rooms and the easy in and out to theme parks allowed us to be highly flexible with how we came and went to the parks. The home itself is spacious, clean and incredibly comfortable. The owners were accommodating, thoughtful, and readily available if we needed anything. If we choose to return to the area in the future, we wouldn't hesitate in renting this home again. Strongly recommend renting this home.

  Property was at least as nice as we anticipated based on the listing information. Community is very well cared for and pleasant to walk around. House and grounds were very clean. The house overall is larger than you'd think looking at the pictures. This was a perfect location to enjoy some time away from the ice up North. We were not here for the theme parks, but for the central location which allowed a home base for day trips to the West and East coasts, as well as doing Central FL stuff like airboat tour. Didn't use the pool but the spa was great for relaxing after a hard day touring, geocaching, and birding. Grocery and other stores are close by, so allowed for more relaxing and less planning! Property owner was easy to deal with and very organized. One person in our party swears they saw the local alligator in the lake, but I'm not so sure.....

  Having rented several units in the past few years, I can easily say that this was, by far, the best. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Owner very accommodating and quick on the response. Although very near to Orlando and all it has to offer, we primarily rented to get away from the frigid north and to play golf. There are oodles of courses within half an hour drive for from less than $20 to over $150. I would recommend this unit to anyone

  We've stayed at the resort before but decided to try a house this time. Was definitely worth it! House is clean and welcoming. Pool and spa were wonderful after a long day at the parks. Also spent a day just hanging out at the house as there was lots of space. Internet worked perfectly. Fun game room. There were nearby stores and restaurants. Also went for a long walk in the gated community - wonderful way to escape! Would definitely do it again.
