  This condo is lovely. The truth is the pictures do not do justice you have to be there. Me and my husband did not want to leave. All of the reviews were on point. Jose is so sweet I tried to call him and could not reach him I guess I dialed the phone wrong shortly after that he called to make sure I made it there safely and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. My husband and I traveled from Santo Domingo with luggage and groceries we were hot and tired when we arrived at this condo. Yesenia showed us around the condo she was so nice a well. My husband and I were so thirsty to our surprise when we looked in the freezer of the refrigerator there was a large container of ice cold water. NICE TOUCH JOSE THANK YOU. When you walk in the front door, the ocean, the breeze, the uphoria embraces you truly beautiful, truly romantic, gorgeous. The staff at this condo is so nice and attentive as well. Thank you Jose for letting us rent your condo we took excellent care of it. We will be back I wish we were still there. Yes I definately would recommend staying here and the description, pictures and amenities are accurate.

  Thank you Jose for trusting us with you spectacular condo...even though we broke a wine glass....lol The unit is on the 8th floor of the building with a most spectacular breathtaking view. Very CLEAN and well maintained. We stayed for 9 days and found it was not long enough. The condo is very spacious with the whole front of the condo being sliding glass doors that open up to a humungous balcony overlooking the ocean. We kept these doors open most of the time and we could hear the ocean. We had no need to use the air conditioning as there was a nice breeze coming in. The condo comes fully equipped...if it wasn't there you didn't need it. Towels, utensils, dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, coffee maker, toaster, washer dryer (but not dishwasher..for those who are really spoiled). There was even a variety of movies to watch..if that's your thing. The condos are individually owned and rented out. We were the only ones there all week. It was like our own private resort with our own private security and maintenance people. On the weekend some people showed up but by no means was it over run by people. The only negative....if I could call it that.....was there is no beach in front of the building. It's rocky, reefy....but just a short walk to the right there is a beach....no biggy....the beautiful infinity pool and jacuzzi made up for that!!! There are many good restaurants within walking distance if you want to go out to eat. We opted to mostly do our own cooking. There is a small market not too far away that has everything you need in the way of groceries. There is also a liquor store across from the market for those who need a bevvy or two. The market was a bit pricey but there are supermarkets that are a bit of a drive away if you want to do any major grocery shopping with more variety. Would I stay here again...Heck YES!!! In a heart beat!! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil, relaxing place to vacation. You won't be disappointed. If you are looking for the hustle and bustle of an all inclusive resort this is not the area for you. Jose was a joy to deal with. He made the whole process stressfree. He even called to make sure we made it ok and checked in with us to ensure everything was up to par. Thanks again Jose for opening up your condo to us.

  Jose's condo was beyond what we expected. It's on a high floor with breathtaking views of the coastline and and ocean. Just having coffee in the morning on while watching and hearing the turquoise waves crash onto the reefs is worth a trip from anywhere. Two spacious bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms, spacious dining and living areas, kitchen stocked with utensils (even two cork screws), large balcony, pool, hot tub/jaccuzzi, everything you can ask for an escape to paradise, etc. Secured premises, restaurants within waking distance. And to top it off, Jose is a wonderful person to work with, he made sure we had everything in place, including detailed directions, advise on transportation, etc, etc. I can't wait to be there once again.

  I want to thank Jose for the use of his beautiful condo. I stayed there with my brother and my girlfriend. It was breath taking. There was hardly any use of the air-conditioner because the ocean breeze was just wonderful. The view is amazing. The rooms are clean and relaxing;the bathrooms are 4 star and the kitchen is fully equipped and modern. The staff at Atabey II were very helpful and friendly. I am definitely booking this condo from Jose again this year for my second trip in 2012. Thank you Jose.

  First I want to thank Jose for everything he was very helpful and accommodating. the condo is beautiful and very clean the area is very safe and there is plenty of places to eat out or it was nice to have a full kitchen to make some romantic home cooked meals too. It was after Julissa and I made a beautiful breakfast together on the 17th of July that I got on my knees in this beautiful condo over looking the ocean and asked my fiancée to marry me!   Wonderful unit in a great area. Pictures don't do the scenery justice. Great location. Owner was very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this unit.

  The pictures didn't do it justice. The condo was absolutely gorgeous, from the furniture to the artwork, and don't even get me started on those enormous slaiding glass doors that overlook the ocean. The view was absolutely breath-taking. The sound of the waves at night gave way to the most peaceful sleep. Juan Dolio is a quiet relaxing area, great for relaxing. If I ever get back to the Dominican Jose a call.

  I'm in New York City right now where it's 20 degrees farenheit and I can't get the stay in the gorgeous apartment out of my head. I can't wait to go back! Spacious, organized, beautifully decorated, equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing, enjoyable vacation in paradise. There are many restaurants nearby that offer great service and quick delivery as well. The view, the view, THE VIEW is just incredible from every angle in the apartment and the fact that is very private as well is plus. All I have to say is thank you and can't wait to return.

  I was the first guest to stay at Jose`s condo. The place is even more beautiful than it looks on the pictures and I would definitely rent it again. Jose is a very trustwothy and helpful person, and so is Juan, the concierge. If you are looking for a modern place with a nice oceanview to relax or work, that`s the one. The ocean is right in front of you, but the sandy beach isn`t - you have to walk along the ocean for about 10 min to get to a beach where you can swim. By the time I went there (after season) it wasn`t really clean. For me this is no big thing, since I like swimming pools better anyway. The pool in front of the house is excellent - great to relax and simply beautiful. The village of Juan Dolio is a bit like every tourist village. You get everything you need, such as groceries, money exchange and restaurants. I recommend to rent a car when there. I would like to thank Jose and the Atabey 2 staff again for the beautiful time I had in Juan Dolio. I already miss the sound of the ocean when lying in bed!

VACATION APARTMENT RENTAL CONTRACT Between Jose R. Gomez of 19970 Villa Lante PL Boca Raton, FL, 33434 called the “Property Owner” and “The Renter or Guest” have agreed to the following: The owner rents the vocational property described below for the period of 3 days arriving on May 21, 2013 and departing on May 24, 2013. The rental rate is $ 489.00 for the entire period. By signing this contract the guest agrees to adhere to all the terms here in set forth. The Property: Located at Torre Atabey II apartment 8-A Boulevard Juan Dolio, Juan Dolio, San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. Terms: 1. CHECK IN TIME: MUST BE BEFORE 7:00 PM ON May 21, 2013. CHECK OUT TIME IS 12:00 NOON on May 24, 2013. A $100.00 LATE DEPARTURE CHARGE WILL APPLY AFTER 3:00 PM. 2. NO SMOKING PERMITTED INSIDE OF THE APARTMENT. 3. Pets are NOT permitted in rental premises. Any evidence of pets on the premise you may be subject to cancellation or extra charges. 4. DAMAGE DEPOSIT: Deposit is waived in lieu of Insurance premium payment of 69.00. Guest is responsible for any damages not cover by the insurance or above the insurance coverage: a. Damage done to apartment or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. b. Charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay. c. All debris, rubbish and discards or garbage not placed in trash area located outside of the building. Soiled dishes left unwashed and placed in drawers. d. All keys that are not left in the lock box or if the apartment is left locked and keys not returned to housekeeper. e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. f. Any linen or towels lost or damaged. g. Check-in and check-out must be according to schedule (See item #1). Special check-in or check-out service is offered. Fee may apply. 5. PAYMENT – A payment equal to 100% of the rental rate quoted is required upon contract signing unless special payment arrangements are made. If so, the agreed payment arrangements will prevail. The advance or partial payments will be applied toward the total rate quoted and balance must be paid as agreed. Please make payments in the form of Credit Card to the owner: JOSE R. GOMEZ. Credit cards and Paypal payments are welcomed. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. 6. CANCELLATIONS: A fifteen (15) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made less than fifteen (15) days prior to the arrival date are subject to the following: Reservations from 2-3 days one day rate penalty will apply or $200.00 whichever is greater. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made less than 10 days from the arrival date will forfeit 50% of advance payment. Cancellation after arrival or early departure do not warrant any refund of rent paid. You may choose to purchase travel insurance separately. See item number nineteen (19) of this contract. 7. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-out. Changes that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-out. 8. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests agreed on this rental is 6 adults. There will be a charge of 100.00 per person per night for any additional guests. THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A TWO (2) NIGHTS MINIMUM STAY; 3 nights during peak and holiday seasons. 9. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than three days, the guest will be charged the three-night rate. 10. INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate. 11. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the apartment, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate however is available at an additional rate. We suggest you bring your own beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the apartment. 12. CLEAN UP: There is a clean up fee of US $50.00 per stay. Guest is required to leave the apartment pick up, all trash cans and refrigerator empty. Garbage must be placed in the garbage area outside of the building. 13. RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice. 14. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in. 15. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. 16. PARKING – Parking is limited to one (1) vehicle inside the building. Other vehicles are to be parked outside. Parking on the road is permitted. Any illegally parked cars inside the building are subject to towing. Applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. 17.FIREPLACES: Not available. 18 ROAD CONDITIONS: No refunds will be given due to road conditions. 19. TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend your purchase travel insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance, go to www.InsureMyTrip.com for details and to purchase. 20. SEPTIC: This apartment is on a well and septic systems. The mineral content in the water is high. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH any toilet papers. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clogs the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to five hundred dollars ($500.00). 21. LOCAL CONTACTS: Names and phone numbers of local contact are provided upon signing of contract and also are included in the guest welcome book. I hereby give permission to charge my credit card for the amounts above. I agree that all rental monies are non-refundable per cancellation policy above.
