My family had a wonderful visit to Brevard and thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this cabin in the trees. This home is beautiful, well maintained and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our college-aged kids as well as the adults. The kitchen is well-equipped and the owners have attended to every detail. We would strongly recommend this cabin and hope to return soon!

My family and I spent the week thru Christmas at the Cabin in the Trees and had the best time. When we got there the cabin was decorted for the holiday and that was a extra bonus we didn't expect. It was the perfect place for our group with plenty of room for everyone even if you needed a moment to yourself. Very comfortable with all the aminities. We cooked Christmas dinner for 6 and had everything we needed. It's just 20 minuets to Brevard and some great resturants and shops and only 1 hr to Hendersonville and Ashville. We hope to someday get to come back.

Spent a week in Mid December. Perfect getaway....Very comfortable, new, with all the comforts of home. Beautiful Sunsets overlooking the mountains all with Wifi and Direct TV (if ya want it). Cabin is a easy 20 minute drive to Brevard. Great place to base for daily hikes to all the local waterfalls. Great experience....we will be back.
Owner response:Steve - Thank you for the nice review - We appreciate and we hope to have your visit again. Happiest of holidays to you and your family!

This house provided the perfect space for our married children to spread out and have their own space. The extra bathroom was essential. We found the house to be clean and had every amenity we were expecting. The detached garage was a bonus, and we were able to set up our dog crates in there since the weather was so temperate. Only down side to this location was the distance from Asheville. It was quite a ride to get to some of the restaurants and to do some of the activities we had planned. It is a great place to really get away, particularly if you want to stay in the immediate area.

My friends and I could not have been happier with the cabin. We recently attended a wedding in Brevard and came across this cabin on the vrbo website. Anna was amazing in making sure we had everything we needed, The cabin was beautuiful, clean, and had everything we could ever need plus more. Our only regret was that we were so busy with the other festivities that we did ot have enough time to just enjoy the cabin. We have all decided to make it a tradition and rent the cabin once a year and all meet there, It was spacious, warm and inviting. Boomer was a great greeter and was really just the cherry on the sunday. I would and have already recommended this cabin to many people. I would like to give a great big thank you to the owners for being so friendly and helpful, you helped make our vacation strees free and relaxing. We will definatley be returning!

Great jumping off point for the "land of waterfalls". Plenty of hikes and waterfalls within a short drive. Within 15 mins to multiple grocery stores. We had the best time at this cabin. Accommodations were comfortable and spacious. Perfect for families. Multiple living areas were great for kids since they go to bed early, the rest could stay up and not feel like we were being too loud. Also, kids wake up earlier than everyone else so there was somewhere for them to go without waking those that sleep in! Kitchen was stocked which made cooking for a large group (7 adults) really easy. AND the garden outside was fantastic! We got to enjoy delicious vine-ripened tomatoes everyday. Also, cucumbers! And plenty of herbs for cooking. The second we got there, we were planning our next trip!
Owner response:So glad you enjoyed the cabin and the garden. Thank you so much!

This is my second stay and it was just as nice as the first time. It's the perfect spot to get away from it all without actually doing it! Your never too far from anything and there's always something to do. We went tubing, hiking, waterfall hunting, shopping, and the list goes on. But the activities don't have to stop there because when you get back to the cabin there are games, wi-fi, decks to lounge on, and most importantly beds that are comfortable. After a long day of hiking a shower, a meal, and some relaxation is the perfect menu! Come visit the "Cabin in the Trees" - you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful, modern home. Perfect for large family or 2 families. Many rooms for sleeping and downstairs kitchenette and entertainment room was great. Far upstairs room was great for our infant as she went to bed earlier while everyone else was enjoying the downstairs areas.. Beautiful views, quiet, and private. Home has nearly everything you would need. A Hot Tub would be the only thing I could recommend as it would be nice after a long day of hiking or biking nearby trails. Excellent experience from beginning to end with the owner. We would return for another visit.

Our stay was quiet...just the way we like it. Other great things we liked: - the wifi worked in all parts of the house with no interruptions - large wraparound deck - walks along the gravel road - attentive owners who answered the phone when we had a question - felt like home - dart board - lower living area - garage to park our cars

I was so impressed with the pictures and description of the "Cabin in the Trees" in its vacation property listing. That's why I chose to spend a couple of days over the Christmas break in the cabin. The reality of the cabin far exceeded my expectations. The cabin is impeccably decorated and extremely comfortable. Everything your heart desires is here: spotless cleanliness; luxurious beds; awesome views; a seat for everyone on the two huge decks (one of which is screened in); a homely ambiance that makes you feel like it's your cabin, not a vacation property; wi-fi internet; satellite TV (one LCD TV upstairs and one downstairs); extreme privacy; a garage for the cars. Did I mention how close all the waterfalls and Brevard are? Simply put this is the best cabin I have ever rented--PERIOD. I can't say one bad thing and don't have enough space to write about all the great things the cabin has to offer. You will love your stay--I did!

My family enjoyed a wonderful trip to Cabin the Trees in late November. What wonderful accomodations! The kitchen is modern and well-equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms are plentiful. The living areas are spacious. The wrap around deck has wonderful views. There was plenty of space for everybody. The downstairs suite is like a whole extra cabin. The cabin is close to many activites. The men went fly-fishing while the women headed for some shopping in Brevard. A great place to stay for a trip to the mountains.

Pictures and description do not do this property justice. It is so peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to Brevard if you want to explore. Absolutely modern with all conveniences and then some; the decor is upscale and you can want for nothing while staying there. Very comfy for extended family or for several couples to get away and have their own space. Plenty of common spaces for gathering. The owners are exceptionally helpful and truly care that you have a great experience when you visit their lovely "Cabin in the Trees."

We enjoyed our stay on September 9-12, 2010. The cabin was very clean, spacious, lots of porches and sitting areas. Nice sunset view. The drive to Brevard is a good 20 minutes but a very reasonable distance and easy drive. This is a great cabin for multiple families, we invited friends and only had a total of 6 people but plenty of room for more. We stayed in and grilled out one night and actually used both grills and that was a lot of fun! I would highly recommend this property to other families. We own a VRBO (#100524) rental house at the beach and this cabin met our high expectations for a rental property and was the same quality of home as our own. We will return for another stay. Thanks Anna!

Very private. We liked that we couldn't see other houses. The gravel road was no problem to navigate in our Mazda3 wagon. The road is maintained well. The pictures and description of the cabin are accurate (as well as previous reviewers). It's lovely. Excellent condition. Quality linens. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable couches and beds. Oh the view. The ever changing view from the huge and comfortable covered deck. Each night we experienced a different 1+ hour of sunset. We utilized the maps, brochures and menus in the cabin to plan our days. Brevard, a 20 minute drive, is bigger than we realized (at least 5 grocery stores) which provided plenty of shopping, eating and tourist options. In the area there are multiple outdoor outfitters offering biking, canoes, rafting, etc. We enjoyed visiting waterfalls and hiking in Dupont State Park.

If you're looking for a place to stay in this area look no more! This rental is more like a home away from home. It has all you'll need for a very comfortable stay and the owner is very, very, attentive to your needs and provides all the information you can possibly use. The beds are more than comfortable, the view is great, the home is clean and, well, I could go on but really there is no need to elaborate further... it's all you'll need for a great stay. It's also reasonably close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest and all the waterfalls you can stand. Our vacation was absolutely awesome from arrival to departure due to this location and the home like experience. As stated previously, this is the place to stay... look no more!

My family spent three wonderful days in this lovely cabin(really a house) in Rosman. We were so fortunate to have picked this mountain retreat as it was much more than we could ever have imagined. Our favorite areas were the wonderful decks where you could sit in the mornings and evenings and take in the magnificent views. The place is immaculate and well equipped with all you would need. We loved the kitchen and cooked all evening meals there. Very close to Brevard and wonderful waterfalls. Great for family reunions, romantic get-aways or a girls' weekend. We are looking forward to going back and would definitely recommend to our friends.

We had 9 in our group, 8 adult and one child, up from Florida for mountainbiking at Dupont State Forest (about 30 minute drive) and Pisgah (30 minutes). The cabin was perfect - all the amenities and comforts you can think of, with a killer view of the mountains to boot. Everyone was comfortable bedroom wise (all bedroms beautifully appointed in a cool rustic way), and we all convened on the porch to cook dinner on the grill at night, tell stories about the days biking or hiking adventures, and be together. The cabin is kept in excellent shape and lacked nothing - beautiful kitchen, garage for the bikes, plus another mini kitchen on the bottom floor. It is about 20 minutes from Brevard, so if we wanted to go out to the "big city" we could (and did), but most of the time we spent hanging on the main porch as that was hard to beat. Fantastic place that we will definitely return to again.

We had a wonderful time, and the cabin was extremely nice and had all the amenities – the view from the balcony being the highlight. Extremely relaxed after 3 solid mountainbiking days (2 in Dupont and 1 in Pisgah – the Pisgah ride kicked our behinds by the way). Thanks again, and your cabin will top the list if we are going back to the Brevard area, which we plan on. I’ll do a rave review on VRBO for you

My extended family chose the Cabin in the Trees for our accommodations when my son graduated from Brevard College in May. We absolutely loved the cabin! We had plenty of room for two families and a grandmother, and the log setting was very relaxing. We enjoyed a nice family dinner after graduation, visited the waterfall nearby and spent an afternoon watching a storm come in over the mountains from the vantagepoint of one of the beautiful decks. We would recommend the cabin highly to anyone looking for a getaway in the Brevard area.

Better than any cabin I have rented in the area by far. I wasn't sure about the location at first. We go to the mountains to enjoy Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest. Usually, we find a cabin around Brevard. I had never heard of the town of Rosman and thought it may be too far away. Wrong. It's a 20 minute drive to Brevard. Many "Brevard" cabins are 10 minutes from town so location was a non-issue. As for the cabin... Super clean. Awesome floor plan. Really neat log cabin. Floors, walls, ceilings nearly all wood giving a great, authentic cabin vibe. Master on main, another great room above (with its own bath), and what feels like a separate place on the lower floor with 2 more bedrooms. Great for kids or to give a 2nd family their own space. Each floor has its own sweet porch with amazing views. Main floor also has a very nice screened-in section. The beds were very comfortable (not always the case with mountain cabins). Very tasteful and comfortable furnishings all around. Great gas and charcoal grills. Nice kitchen, well stocked. Finally, the owners are really nice and easy to work with. Highly recommended!
