Enjoy this unique summer cottage, perched on secluded hilltop with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The cottage is airy and bright with ocean views throughout.
There is a queen size bed in the main bedroom, a bunk bed with 2 singles in the additional bedroom and a pull out futon in the screened in porch.
A large deck overlooking the Atlantic accommodates outdoor dining and entertaining. There is also a large sunroom with dining table and seating area.
We overlook arguably the best private beach on the island, with ocean on one side and the tranquil, kid friendly, Chilmark pond on the other. Access to this beach is its own pleasure, a 10 minute pond crossing boat. Set amid an endless forest, it also has a large fenced in vegetable garden, and hi speed internet. This is the perfect island retreat. The house was built in 2006 but we tried to maintain the look of a traditional saltbox Vineyard home.
The cottage is winterized and has solar panels on the roof. It is available for periods in the winter as well.
Garbage and recycling pick up can be arranged for an additional fee.

Lovely, clean and well-maintained home, plenty of light, great views, well-appointed kitchen, responsive owners. This little house comes with watercraft to get you across Chilmark Pond to a perfect ocean beach - on a crowded day you might see 6 or 7 other umbrellas. It's about a mile up dirt-and gravel roads, so be prepared. We'll be back next year! Highly recommended.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

The house is quiet and remote, located down a country road. We are near great walking and jogging trails as well as great horseback riding. There is a hammock for reading while enjoying the great view from the remote hilltop location. Boats are included with the rental providing easy access to private beach. These include a motor boat, canoe and kayaks.
