River's Edge Chalet! Watch Eagles, Ski, Kayak, Hike, Shop!
- Minimum stay:1-2 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:Yes
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Come to the Riversong Chalet Retreat and breathe in the peace and tranquility of nature overlooking the white-waters of the Snoqualmie River's most southern fork. This charming Chalet has been updated to make for a comfortable and inviting get-a-way! Situated just across from the John Wayne Trail and nestled in a canopy of evergreens, it is the perfect spot to meditate, read, write, paint or satisfy your hunger to hike, kayak, bike, golf or ski.
The Chalet has soaring ceilings matched by sweeping views of the boulder filled, foamy whitewater river and towering fir, aspen, cedar and hemlock. Eagle and Osprey fish happily here, while Mallards and Heron have also claimed the river for sunning and fishing. Elk, deer and squirrel can be seen and lend to the feeling of blending with nature. Although located just minutes from I-90, once on the property, you'll feel a million miles away.
The downstairs bedroom is fitted with a queen Tempurpedic mattress. The upstairs loft bedroom has a four poster with a firmer queen mattress with memory foam toppers for an extra comfortable rest. The loft is 400 sq. feet so there is plenty of room for the cots located in the closet for extra sleepers! (**Note: There is also a single roll away located in the living room if needed) The home is cozy and charming with ambient lighting, spiral staircase to the upper loft, new wood floors, a cushioned porch swing and fire pit on the deck.
We are located 10 minutes from the Snoqualmie Casino which features world class dining and entertainment! The town of North Bend is the home of the legendary Twin Peaks filming and Twedes Cafe where memorabilia abound. Twin Falls St. Park, Mt. Si and trails, Rattlesnake Lake and hiking trails, and The John Wayne Trail are all within either walking or biking distance or minutes by car. Snoqualmie Pass ski slopes are just fifteen minutes east! We have supplied games and books, two color televisions and a hearth to warm yourself and loved ones by.
Get past a writer's block, rest from the chaos of the city, or just come to have a welcome change of pace! This comfortable nest will be a delight to arrive at and hard to leave!

The chalet offers such a relaxing atmosphere…. It was everything we wanted. Clean and cozy, you feel secluded even though you a mere 30-45 minutes from the heart of Seattle. Thank you so much for a lovely 4 day hide away. Traci - in SeattleRecommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We are so grateful to hear from our guests that the Chalet was exactly what they were seeking. We are so pleased to be able to share what the Chalet has to offer with our guests. We came here to escape from the "real" world for a few days and couldn't have found a better place. We enjoyed spending time exploring along the trails and the river. The weather was perfect for relaxing on the deck, enjoying the sights and sound of the river. It was nice to let the city ebb away to be replaced by the soothing sounds of nature. The chalet was cozy, comfortable and romantic. What a rare treat to be able to relax in front of the fireplace while enjoying the sounds of the river just outside the door. Everything here at the chalet met and exceeded our expectations and we definitely hope to return in the future.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thank you for an absolutely wonderful and relaxing weekend! We got in late Friday night, but managed to fit in fly-fishing, hiking at Lil Si, barbecuing on the deck and going for a hike at Rattlesnake Lake. This is the most charming and cozy chalet...we absolutely love it and even since we've been here, have recommended it to other people. I love being able to wake up to the sounds of the river and just sip my coffee looking out from the deck. We plan to make this our weekend get-away from now on. Thank you for such warm hospitality!! We look forward to seeing you soon!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We Spent an Amazing Month at RiverSong Chalet. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck with the beautiful musical sounds of the river! We explored the entire Pacific Northwest (North Bend, Olallie State Park, Mt. Si, Mt Rainier, Leavenworth, Duvall, Stevens and Snoqualmie Pass, Seattle (of course!), Whidbey Island, Deception Pass, Vancouver and Victoria Canada! We hiked, explored, shopped and enjoyed the Mt. Si Festival and especially enjoyed the fresh fruit/veggies at Issaquah Farmers Market and North Bend Farmers Market. Each day/evening was so special and memorable! What a lovely chalet, tastefully decorated, charming & cozy! Thank you for sharing this amazing chalet with us! North Bend people are warm & friendly with a small town atmosphere! We had a choice of where we chose to spend our time and we definitely made the right choice! It felt like Home! Thank you to the chalet owners for your hospitality and warmth. We look forward to returning to do more exploring & eventually relocate. Amazing trip! P.S. We requested internet/Wi-Fi for our stay and the owners responded and had it installed by the time we arrived.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Six of us this time. We hiked, swam at Rattlesnake Lake on a 90+ degree day, fly-fished the river and enjoyed the Olympics (games and mountains). Even went crabbing one day. We will return and love knowing that this cozy chalet is here. Not excited about going back to heat and humidity in Atlanta. P.S. Thanks for the internet and Wi-FiDid you find this review helpful? My husband and I were lucky enough to have been able to stay at the cabin on the night of our wedding. After getting married in Seattle, we wanted to stay somewhere quiet, peaceful, and pretty--the cabin met all of those qualities and exceeded our expectations. The location of the cabin on the river is truly awesome. DeAnne was great to work with as we planned for our stay at the cabin--she even left a bottle of champagne for us! Thank you so much!Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Feedback like this is why we continue to share our cozy destination with others. We are so happy that the chalet met your expectations. Thanks so much!

About the owner: We have been residents in North Bend since 1997. We fell in love with the mountains and the rivers, the hikes and the scenery. We love to travel, write, paint, and spend time with family and dear friends. Being a part of the Great Pacific Northwest is and will always be a passion. The smell of the fir trees, the roil of the river, the eagle and wildlife that share these vast and intimate spaces are our extended family and never ending source of satisfaction.
Why the Owner Chose North Bend:
We bought this home to have a retreat to share with family and friends. It feels miles from the hub-bub of the suburbs or the city, but is actually just minutes away from nightlife or the airport!
The Unique Benefits at this Chalet:
The most treasured benefit of staying at this property is the close proximity to nature and the serenity and peace that brings!
