  I recently had the opportunity to spend a day at this lovely home in Austin. Both the exterior and interior of this home and its settings speak of an elegant simplicity. The grounds are tastefully landscaped with an enchanting patch of bamboo forest in the back of the house which includes lighted paths. The outside rock-lined swimming pool and large hot tub are original in design and privacy is guaranteed by the backdrop of the bamboo woods. The interior of the house is spacious and well laid out. The furnishings are modern, tasteful and aesthetically pleasing. I can imagine staying in this house and feeling quite comfortable. I highly recommend this house for rental by anyone who wants a tasteful, comfortable and relaxing place to live while visiting Austin.

  Stayed here with a group of girlfriends for our annual 'Austin Trip'. Very peaceful backyard, spent the entire second day out there. Could hardly tell we were even in a neighborhood. Lovely home, elclectically decorated. We enjoyed a few singalongs at the piano as well. Plenty of room to spread out and lovely balcony for morning coffee. Close to all the attractions of downtown Austin, although we enjoyed the house/pool/hottub so much we didn't even go out on the town.

  Very comfortable house for a weekend stay in Austin with plenty of space and a great backyard pool area. 5-7 min drive to downtown attractions. The owner stays in a small efficiency at the same property with a separate entrance. Overall, would recommend this place for a quiet weekend escape.

  I stayed here with a group of women for a "Girls Getaway." I loved the house and the backyard was our favorite. The landscaping and pool,hot tub were extremely beautiful and much more than what we expected. The house was in a great location not far from downtown. Another great part of staying here was waking up to see deer right outside the house!! We loved it and the owner was helpful and very accommodating. I would recommend this property to others!!

  I stayed here with 5 of my friends for Austin City Limits this year and had a great experience. We're all in our late twenties and early thirties and the place was perfect. Lots of space, amazing back yard for relaxing, and a great location that was close but not too close to downtown, and the owner was very accommodating and helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone.

  Stayed here for 5 days with 4 buddies of mine all in our 30's from NYC. The home was more then adequate with plenty of space and an absolutley beautiful private pool. The owner was more then accomadating and tried to cater to all our needs, she gave us some nice southern hospitality. I would definitley stay here again. 7 minutes to downtown and 5 minutes to Rudy's BBQ (amazing). For the daily rate and what the house has to offer you can't go wrong.

  I rented this house for a reunion of my college roommates (University of Michigan - Go Blue!) who were coming in from across the country with their young children. We rotate cities for our reunions and this year was my turn to show them Austin. Our goals were to see the major Austin attractions and reconnect with each other; this house provided a perfect base camp. It is a flexible property with a very comfortable living area for visiting, private rooms for nighttime, and a capable kitchen for cooking a rousing Sunday breakfast. The pool was ideal for giving the children (and adults!) a place to cool off and play in between scheduled activities. The house is minutes away from Austin attractions, but in a safe, beautiful neighborhood that supports morning jogs and evening strolls. The owner was fair and delivered everything promised in the posting. I highly recommend this property!
