This 4th floor precious vacation property faces west and is located directly (50 yards from the water)across the street from the Balneario and Sunset Beach, Caribbean Sea just one mile south where it meets the Atlantic Ocean. Located on the beach itself are picnic tables, showers, restrooms and barbecue grills for public use. The water is calm, warm and turquoise blue. The gated condo complex itself has a gazebo, swimming pool, Jacuzzi and gym for private use. The condo also offers two gated parking spaces.
Local activities include swimming, snorkeling, sailing, scuba diving, para-sailing, surfing and sunset cruises. Lessons are always available for the inexperienced. Depending on the time of year whales and dolphins may be seen migrating off the coast. About a mile north of the condo, the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea meet creating superb waves for surfing. Rincon is famous for its surfing and for the Rincon Triathlon. The triathlon transition from swimming to biking is directly across from the condo so you can watch from your own balcony.
Within a 30 minute drive you can find a water park. Driving a little further there are caves to explore, cave tubing, the Mayaguez zoo, the rain forest, and the world's largest radio-telescope. San Juan is 2 hrs away and the rain forest is 2 1/2 hrs away. JetBlue has flights directly from Orlando(MCO) and New York (JFK)to Aguadilla (BQN). Continental and Spirit also have flights to Auguadilla. A marine reserve is about 0.5 miles north from the condo, it has the best Elkhorn Coral close to an island anywhere in the world. Take a diving/snorkeling boat to Desecheo, 12 miles from shore and discover visibility to 50+ feet, 365 days a year.
Within 500 yards of the condo are grocery stores, pharmacies, bakeries, (the emergency room) and everything you will need to make this 1100 square foot apartment feel like home. There are also plenty of local restaurants and shops when you feel like exploring. Whether English or Spanish is your first language you won't have problems communicating. Most people are bilingual and everyone is very friendly. There is no crime. You can walk almost everywhere you want to go but a rental car is recommended. Rincon is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. Stay 7 nights or more and save the cleaning fee!

My son is an avid surfer and we come to Rincon once every year or so in the fall/winter to surf. This apartment is well-furnished, clean, and centrally located. The swimable public beach is right across the street and all the best surfing beaches are a very short drive away. As are a number of very good restaurants and night spots.Owner response: I am glad you guys had fun! I knew it!

We loved this place - it had everything you need for a great beach vacation - clean spacious rooms, beautiful view of the sea, and close to everything. There were restaurants and beach bars within easy walking distance. The town of Rincon is friendly with cute shops and a grocery store has all your kitchen needs. Best part of our vacation was relaxing in the pool and jacuzzi. Visit the zoo while you are there - a half hour drive away, but worth it. The owners were always available to answer any questions. The condo is wonderful! Fantastic location right across the street from the public beach. Great pool (and we seemed to be the only ones who used it!) Kitchen had everything you'd want ... bedroom was large/spacias ... balcony had view of the ocean ... Plus, being able to use the bikes was wonderful! My husband and I just spent 5 days in Rincon and loved the condo and the area. We ended up doing the beach thing most days (my husband surfed, I relaxed) and it was really easy to navigate the area once we got to town. Would suggest a GPS with the rental car as our phones had spotty reception. Loved all the suggestions on places to eat and truly felt like we had the B&B "touch" with the privacy of our own space on vacation! I really enjoyed my stay in the apartment for a 2 week stay. The location is a great, although I would recommend having a car. There are some great beaches and restaurants in the area. There are two restaurants that I highly recommend, the Shipwreck Bar & Grill and the Harbor Restaurant! I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Our family (parents and three teen age girls) throughly enjoyed our trip to Rincon. The condo was a wonderful home base, across from the beach and centrally located for all local excursions. It is comfortable and had all that we needed for our stay. We found plenty to do, tried different beaches every day and were happy to come "home" each evening. Edgar was most helpful in suggesting activities and places to go, providing directions and giving aid when needed. We look forward to returning.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Rincon you can't go wrong hee at all. It was a great time there during the 1st week of February 2011. I would have liked to just stay and enjoy the town and the condo more than I did, but we were there for the Caribbean World Series and those games all ran past midnight. That led to the ONLY problem with the condo, and maybe it is just me. I work graveyards right now so I sleep in a completely darkened room. The master bedroom does not have much in the way of curtains so it gets VERY bright in there very early. But, for those who want to be up then, and have not returned from a baseball game at 0300, then it won't be a problem. Everything is in good shape, the location to the beach CANNOT be beat. It's easy to get to. In all, it was just a neat place to stay!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

About the owner: We love Rincón. My husband, Edgar and I grew up all over the country, but we LOVE the ocean. Ever since we vacationed in Puerto Rico we've been going back to Rincón on vacation as often as we can. As time went on, we found Puerto Rico to be the perfect place to take kids and for adults alike. We couldn't get enough of the ocean. We dive, snorkel, kayak, horseback ride and relax around the beach We were just amazed the first time we went snorkeling and then watched the fabulous sunsets - There was no question, we had to invest in our own 'Rincón beach condo.'
