  From rentor: This home is truly beautiful and spacious (inside and out), loved having first floor kitchen and inside staircase especially with kids. great view of boats back and forth, large outdoor areas, close to many fun things to do. The beds were very comfortable and the house was exceptionally clean. We were pleased to find toilet, paper towels, trash bags and more when we first arrived so we did not have to stop at a store first but could drop our luggage at the house. Read the view of the unhappy guest but we had no issues and feel that there is not another home that would have all that this one offers.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities.

• Wonderful time in Key Largo

  Our family really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on the Adams Cut in Key Largo. The house is modern, certainly large enough for our family of 6 adults & 3 children 3 & under. The pool is very nice & certainly adequate for our needs. It was great watching the parade of boats coming through & watching from the veranda. Our kids fished from the dock & were successful each day. The kitchen is large & modern, & the bedrooms are fine as are the bathrooms. There are many things within easy driving distance & Key West is about 2 1/2 hours away. The Pennekamp park is 2 miles away & there are many fine restaurants close by. Diving is ok, but we only dived 2 days due to weather concerns. We really enjoyed our stay & the owner is committed to having guests enjoy their stay. We certainly may return to this great home.

  We rented this home March 17-24, 2012. A Beautiful home but we encountered a few problems. At arrival, air conditioner was at 78 degrees covered by a lock box. The yard hadn't been mowed or cleaned up for months. We turned on the living room ceiling fan and after just a minute sparks began flying and a breaker popped. After a heated discussion with rental agent we were referred to the owner. The owner was wonderful. She told us how to lower the air conditioner. The next morning (Sunday) at 9:30 she had an electrician there to replaced the fan. When she saw the condition of the yard she was visibly upset. Arrangements were made for a gardener on Tuesday. We had 7 people staying at the home There were only 6 bath towels, 3 hand towels and 2 washcloths. There was 2 very thin towels to dry dishes but nothing to wash dishes with. The two showers with tile had black mold. The house needed a major power washing on outside. Pool decking was in poor condition. Pool tiles have begun to sink in to the ground which left very uneven walking. Knives were so dull and we couldn't find anything to sharpen them with. There were only 2 lounge chairs for the pool. Master bed was very comfortable but none of the other beds had a box spring but plywood under the mattresses. All sleeping on those beds woke up every morning with sore backs. Agent was up front that the spa temperature could not be turned up higher than 85 degrees. That shouldn't be advertised as spa but an extension of the pool in this case. It was very nice on the canal to watch boats go in and out. Rental agent was very hard to work with. We have rented in FL every other year for the last 8 years and we have never encountered a problem like this. We had always been 100% satisfied. Would not recommend until these things are taken care of. We were there with our family (kids ages are 25 - 29) and the home was very comfortable and roomy for all.

  Owner response: A ceiling fan broke and was fixed immediately the next day even though they said they did not need, also the gardner was not doing his job so another was hired and also there the next day. A spa is always inground and attached to pool which pictures reflect. Never once complained there were not enough towels, she didn't look in linen closets also there are only 2 lounge chairs pictured but also folding lounge chairs she didn't use and more then enough other seating outdoors. The furniture is high quality and some of the beds are platform beds which are not supposed to have boxsprings. They are very comfortable. Nothing wrong with knivesThis person was unhappy because she wanted to have extra people at the last minute and we would not allow. Knives did not need sharpening, 1 paver was reset but not a big deal. They paid owner and owner at house and all they said was how wonderful everything was and they had no problem but fan which they did not even need fixed. By reading the review you can tell that she is the problem not the house. In fact her husband stated they were thrilled with the house. I think the comments and author speak for itself.

  My wife and I are property owners in South beach, we take pride in ownership and when we have guests in our condos, we make sure everything is perfect. After speaking with and staying at this home, I can say we have finally met someone who takes care of their property like we do. The home was resort like spotless, we felt like we were walking into a hyatt property. The home has approx 10ft ceilings, solid wood doors and custom molding though out the home. Very modern kitchen with granite counter tops. Plenty of room for entertaining, while at the same time, the home is large enough to find a quiet spot any time of the day. The home is in an up scaled neighborhood, surrounded by other very nice homes. Plenty of room for safe secure docking for your boat and plenty of room in the front for your trailer. The boating is great either on the ocean side or the bay side. The home is located right on the water way to go from ocean to the bay side. I would highly recommend this home and I am sure we will stay there again. Do your homework, search for homes, then pick this one.
