This condominium IS BEACHFRONT. Located half way between Sandestin and Seaside this first floor unit is in a location second to none on 30A. This condo features an open living and dining room combination with huge island bar(that seats 4) separating dining room(dining table seats up to 8) and kitchen with granite and corian countertops. Relax and enjoy yourself as if you were in your own home. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a private bathroom. A second bedroom has a queen bed and it's own bath as well. The third bedroom has two double beds ideal for children. This bedroom has a bath, too.
This condo has exceptional furnishings throughout. You will love staying here!! There is a patio for outdoor dining and grilling. Walk straight out to the pool which is LITERALLY just steps away from the porch. The beach is less than 100 feet from the porch. The Palms has a private boardwalk with coded access leading to the beach.

We live in Crestview, FL, and have friends and family from LA and MO who visit every year. We always rent a condo several times a year when our company is in. We usually stay in Destin, but take a day trip or two to 30-A. This year, I was determined to find a place to stay on 30-A. My sister and her family were the first to come in this year and she was very skeptical to not stay where we always stay. But, I convinced her to trust me and she was more than pleased that she let me make the switch. My husband and I searched up and down 30-A, trying to find the perfect spot. We decided on Dune Allen because it was close enough to Seaside and the shops and activities there, but also close enough to Grand Boulevard and Sandestin. It is the perfect middle place. And Dune Allen is such a lovely community within itself. We loved eating at Fire, very close to condo and great food and service. The condo itself was a real crowd pleaser. It was the most well-stocked condo we had ever stayed at, especially the kitchen. We're used to having to go out and buy even the essentials like salt and pepper. This kitchen had a full rack of spices, lots of dishes and cookware. Books, throws, toys, just so many extras that made it truly feel like being at home. The decor was beautiful and beachy, and of course, the white sand just a few steps outside our doorway, was the must-have. When I started my search for a condo on 30-A, I sent several emails requesting information. Danny and Bonny were very prompt in their responses and answered any and all questions. After I had already secured their unit, I finally heard back from one of the others I had sent an email to almost a week ago. We were very pleased with our stay, the location, the condo, and the hospitality of Danny and Bonny. We will be back! The kiddos particularly loved being right beside the pool. For some crazy reason, we cannot convince them, that the ocean is the greatest swimming pool ever made!

My husband, son and I stayed in your beautiful unit over the Mardi Gras week. What a treat! The weather wasn't that great, but we didn't care! The "Palm's" proximity to the beach and beautiful views are truly a delight. Because of the location in Dune Allen, it is no problem to shop, go for groceries, or to find a great restaurant. Seaside, Grayton and Watercolor are just a few minutes away as well, but the beach in Dune Allen is not as congested. The unit itself had everything we needed, with beautiful bedding, an incredibly well-stocked kitchen and very nice furnishings! We'll definitely be back!

About the owner: Bonny Blackshear Dorough and Danny Blackshear of Albany Georgia are sibling co owners. We are co owners of Albany Realty Company a full service firm founded by our father in 1959. Bonny and Danny have been running the business since 1989.
Why the Owner Chose Dune Allen Beach:
This property is not too far out of Destin but is also not too close to town and traffic. The Vue restaurant is about 100 yards away so you can walk to lunch or dinner. Gulf Place is located about 1/4 mile away and features eclectic restaurants and shopping. They occasionally have afternoon concerts at their pavillion that are free. They have a beautifully manicured lawn to set up an afternnoon picnic and watch live music!! The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is located about 10-12 minutes away and is probably the largest outlet mall in the panhandle of Florida. Stores include Polo/Ralph Lauren, Nike, J Crew, Banana Republic just to name a few. The unique community of Seaside is just 10 minutes away.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Small complex with only 24 units. Ours is on the ground floor. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Destin but close enough if thats what you like. A practical benefit is that a brand new Publix just opened less than 2 miles away. Publix also opened a full Liquor store next to the Supermarket.
