  While looking for a place to stay near Olympic Natl Park, we found this property. We loved it! Reviews and pictures were accurate and very helpful. Proximity to several areas of Olympic NP was fantastic. Also, proximity to Port Angeles and the surrounding areas was also great -- about 15 minutes drive to the city. We visited the property during the early spring and had a wide range of corresponding weather including some snow. The house was a warm, cozy, practical, well-stocked clean retreat from our local adventures. We visited with our two young kids, and they absolutely loved the smaller bedroom upstairs, while we enjoyed the much larger bedroom (rocking chair, great views). Surrounding area was very quiet during the spring. I really enjoyed hiking the nearby forest service road. The rowboat was lots of fun for the entire family (life preservers in the house). The owner was proactive and very responsive. I fact, the owner went out of his way to return an expensive personal item we left in the cabin. We received our deposit promptly. We would definitely recommend this property, especially fall, winter, spring.

  Wanted to get away from the city for a weekend. This house was the perfect spot. View of the lake was amazing. Kitchen was well stocked! Their VHS movie collection brought back many nostalgic memories. When seeking owners for assistance and questions, they were extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

  I would recommend this place to anyone! We saw big bright rainbows and several bald eagles...that's priceless. It was a very clean home accurately potrayed in the photos that are provided. Comfy bed, nice kitchen, and nice big deck right on the water. It is a serene place and I can't wait to go back. We only live about 50 miles from here so we just stayed at the home the whole 2 days. But this would be a good location for visitors who want to check out the Olympic National Park and etc. Received my deposit back within a few days. The owner was a pleasure to deal with.

  My husband, 5yr old daughter and I traveled from Australia and fell in love with this cabin on the lake! What a wonderful place to wake up in each morning with the most wonderful view that changes by the hour. We spent 12 days including Easter at the cabin and it was perfect. We were warm and cosy with the great fire place, the beds were comfy and we had everything we could have needed. We even baked cookies in the kitchen that had everything we needed. There was so much to see and do in the area...La Push and the Olympic Game Farm were favourites, I didnt want to leave! What a magical part of the world, beautiful. And there were 2 little ducks that visited us daily. I highly recommend. The only thing missing was a washing machine but it was easy enough to get the wash done in Port Angeles and I would stay there again in a heartbeat!! The owners were also wonderful and more than helpful. Loved it!!! It's just like in the photos only better!

  What a wonderful, clean, quiet, got it all cabin, Sept 2011. We had a great vacation, hiked Olympic Ntl Park. Went wale watching. Enjoyed Lake Sutherland. We hope to return again, and again. This cabin has everything you need. So clean. We even got our deposit check back in 5 days. Thanks for a wonderful time.

  What a wonderful, clean, well-kept home on the beautiful lake Sutherland. We swam off the deck, fished for trout (and caught a few), and hiked many beautiful trails in the park. This is a great family home and the owners are kind and quickly respond to questions. We loved it and will be back!

  This was truly Paradise. Comfortable, spacious cabin with a rustic decor and all the amenities. The views are spectacular. From Lake Sutherland, we were able to drive to all the scenic spots including Hurricane Ridge, Sol Duc, Forks and Port Angeles. Very peaceful and relaxing.

  Our visit could not have been any more perfect. This little cabin was so comfy and cozy and the view could not be beat. Definitely will try to come back again. It was extraordinarily clean and had the perfect feel of seclusion that we were looking for.

  Thanks for a great weekend. The house was amazing, clean, well stocked and a great location for exploring Olympic National Park. We enjoyed viewing the stars from the deck, and watching the neighbors fish, the lake was very tempting but April is a bit early for swimming, we'll have to return after the weather heats up.

  I rented this cabin for myself, my 18 year old brother, and my parents. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was exactly as pictured and the lake is beautiful. The owner was easy to contact and always willing to help before and even during our stay. The location was perfect for our plans to see Port Angeles, the Olympic forest, and Lake Cresent. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a great place to relax while also being close to town.

In season May 15 to September 25. Three night minimum stay on weekends.

Rental agreement will be e-mailed to you upon acceptance of your reservation, after signing the agreement your reservation will be booked.

100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
