  Nice lobby, welcoming staff, easy check-in/out. Beautiful pool area, but chairs fill up pretty quickly. Two jacuzzi's, one in, one out. Sauna, water slide, outdoor grill area. Activities for the kids, daily movies. Room was as expected: two bedrooms, comfortable king bed in one room, two twins in the other, queen pull-out sofa bed in the living room (apparently not very comfy) TV is an older, dated model. But little time is spent in the room watching TV anyway. Kitchen area stocked with high quality items. Full size frig, stove/oven, dishwasher. Soaps are provided, as is laundry soap if you need to use the coin-operated laundry facility. Having two bathrooms was ideal, as we are a family of six. Bathrooms were clean, well-maintained and the master bath has a jetted whirlpool tub. Within walking distance to downtown Newport shopping, waterfront dining, entertainment. We recommend the Cliff Walk, touring the mansions. Local beaches nearby. Public transportation available. Our view from the room was of the parking lot, so next time we'd ask for a room with a better view. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

  This was the ideal accomodation and location for our long weekend together. Our unit was ready for us upon arrival and had everything we needed just as we expected. The owner explained the sleeping arrangements prior to us booking and since we were with our adult children, beds and bathrooms worked out perfect. We had everythng we needed for light cooking. Desk staff was most helpful with questions and arranging additional parking. Cookies in the lobby in the afternoon and newspaper at our door each morning were great. We were in walking distance to restaurants and shops. The pool area was often very crowded but the weather was very hot. For adults we'd recommend Newport Vineyards Wine Tasting, Cliff Walk and Mansion Tour and Sunset Cocktail Cruise around grogeous Newport Harbor. Would definitely stay again.

  We spend a 4 days in Newport with two other couples. The condo was clean, well equipped. Few draw backs, it felt like it was smoked in and signs are all over that it is non-smoking condo. Check in is 4pm but the rooms were ready past 5pm. Parking is allowed only for one car mean time there are plenty of empty spaces all over the parking. We had paid extra $10 per day per car for parking outside the complex. No biggy. The location of the complex is central and is in walking distance to everything in Newport. Landlord was responsive and professional.

  Our family was overwhelmed by the unbelievable location of our vacation rental. The views of the harbor were breathtaking. Everything was walkable from our front door. The accommodations were fantastic - way beyond our expectation. Size, comfort, cleanliness, style etc. were all excellent. We would rate it a 5 plus star. We were the envy of other family and friends who were in town for a wedding. The resort itself was perfect for all of us - every age group was more than pleased! Pools, hot tubs, etc etc were clean and fun. The staff was helpful, friendly, and polite. Check in was simple and efficient. We LOVED everything and can not wait to go back. Thank you very, very much. It was a truly wonderful family vacation experience!!

  This property is extremely well located - easy walking distance to everything along the wharf side of Newport, great restaurants and shops nearby. I rated it only average though for a couple of reasons: 1) Check in process was bad. We did know that check in was officially at 4 pm - we got there a little after 3 taking a chance that maybe our room would be ready. We spent about 30 minutes in line that time to learn that no it wasn't but completed what I thought was all the necessary paperwork & told to come back at 4. We did .... and spent another hour in line! Luckily our room was ready at that point but checking in roughly 10-15 people (amount of people in line) shouldn't take over an hour! 2) overall these rooms need some tender loving care & updating. Good layout .. great having 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms but could have a little better upkeep.

  Owner response: The confirmation that I do send to the guest clearly states check in and check out times. Often a room is ready before the stated time..and the guest does have the option to check to see if they can gain access early. If the room has been cleared by housekeeping the front desk will get them in. It is made clear of the check in time from the begining of the rental process. Often times I leave my cell phone number with the resort and they will call me when my room is ready. Then I am free to use the facitilites, park my car in the lot and even walk to the many shops and restaurants nearby. The resort is under a three year refurb. The pool has been resurfaced, the beach chairs and tables have all been replaced, Gas grills have been installed near the gazebo. The interiors are in the process of getting new bedding, granite counters, new furnishings and carpet. This project did start last year. Wonderful resort.......Definatly my pick for Downtown Newport
