IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BRIGHT, CLEAN, HIGH QUALITY, COMFY AND LOVELY PLACE FOR YOUR FAMILY VACATION GET-AWAY, our home expresses all of these qualities. We have everything you'll need to make your stay perfect and just like home. We take pride in keeping our home in top notch condition!!
In addtion, WE ARE IDEALLY LOCATED NEAR TOWN BUT IN A PRIVATE WOODED AREA WITH LOVELY VIEWS.
Our 1400 square foot, bi-level townhouse, situated in the forest, is sunny, spacious, with beautiful architectural details, well built, and tastefully decorated.
CONVENIENTLY located to both Winter Park and Fraser, to several downhill ski areas, trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing, dog sledding, sleigh rides,a great tubing hill, and BIKE TRAILS. A PARK which includes tennis courts, a playground, picnic areas, barbeque grills and a nature trail is less than a 5 minute walk from our town home. Safeway is a 5 minute drive. The local movie theater, video store, shopping and restaurants are a short walk from our home.
The UPSTAIRS LIVINGROOM is warm and inviting with vaulted ceiling, large moss rock gas fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen with skylight, large windows, breakfast bar and dining room with seating for eight, a south-facing sun porch with rocker, a spacious bedroom with french doors and full bath.
GROUND LEVEL includes the master bedroom with master bath and TV, private hot tub in a sunny room with huge windows and speakers for listening to music, a second bedroom and bath, washer/dryer, mud room at entry and ski closet just outside.
If one chooses to snuggle in rather than participating in one of the numerous outdoor activities, our home has 2 TVs, VCR/DVD player, CD/cassette player, tapes, reading materials, games, puzzles, and movies.
There is PARKING next to our building and a FREE shuttle bus which stops across street four times per hour in ski season. The bus circulates through the village of Winter Park and to the ski area. It's about a 10 minute bus ride to the ski area which has some of the best skiing in Colorado. If you enjoy snowshoeing and cross country skiing, you can access a trail right across the road.
For a unique and memorable activity, we recommend taking a dog sled ride through the forest which affords beautiful mountain views. This activity is a short distance from our town home.
In nearby Fraser(4-5 minutes from our home by car) be sure to check out the tubing hill. It's quite affordable and a blast for the whole family. The Snow Scoot is there as well; a scooter on skies.
If you are a BIKER, a paved bike path runs along the scenic Fraser River and ends at the ski area; the other direction takes you into Fraser and on into the countryside. It's a short ride to access this bike path from our place. We are 4 miles from the ski area by bike via the spectular Fraser River Trail.
Rocky Mountain National Park is 45 minutes north as well as three lakes where one may enjoy a variety of water sports. Also, 45 minutes away is Hot Sulpher Springs, famous for its natural hot springs and river rafting.

Why the Owner Chose Kings Crossing
We enjoy skiing, hiking and golfing. Winter Park has it all in addition to gorgeous scenery.
It's a charming community in which to visit. We also enjoy visiting Rocky Mountain National Park which is about 45 minutes away.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
Our home is in a lovely wooded area but near enough to town to walk or to catch the bike trail nearby. We have a nature trail and park just up the street. Occasionally a moose will wander by our property as well. Our complex consists of only 20 units so it's a friendly place to spend time since we know many of our neighbors.
We also like the fact that we can catch the free shuttle bus to the ski area and we're there in a jiffy!
My husband loves watching the trains roll by our place since he's such a train nut. Of course our private indoor hottub is somethng we love soaking in after a day of skiing.
Owner's Map of Kings Crossing
My husband retired from the Union Pacific railroad where he was in charge of the Moffat Tunnel ventilation plant at Winter Park, Co. He's a real rail fan as well and has built a model train layout at our home in the Denver area.
I'm a retired elementary school teacher who keeps busy with many volunteer activities.
We also enjoy all types of skiing which is the reason we bought our townhome in Winter Park. We think it's one of the best ski areas in the country.
We also enjoy traveling, golf and other outdoor activities.
Since we both like to read, we have provided good reading lights for our townhome guests.

We have two teens and this was the perfect setup for the whole family. The bus stopped right out the door. The condo is so well decorated that you will feel you are at home the minute you walk in. We will be renting this Condo every time we come to Winter Park. To top this off, the owners are the nicest people we have ever rented from. We rented this wonderful unit for Christmas. The owners went up the weekend before and decorated it for the holidays . . . you can't bet that kind of hospitality. We were in the Great snow storm (s) of Dec. 06 and they contacted us to make sure we were safe, and they really cared. The Waddle Family

Thanks for another great Sprink Break! Once again everything was great! We even got more snow this year. The kids loved playing in the snow out front--something they don't get to do at home! Hopefully we'll be back again next year!

We loved staying in your townhome this weekend. The powder was perfect for the adults to ski while Grandma and Grandpa babysat. The baby "extras( stair gate, pck-n-play and tableseat) were such a big help. ...We hope to do this again in a few years so hope we will be welcome here again. Thanks so much---

We had a fantastic stay in your townhome...convenient shuttle location worked perfect, two 16 year old boys appreciated the private hottub, kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed relaxing each evening in such comfortable surroundings!! Glad you found everything in order after our departure, it's well kept as advertised, which we really appreciated! Thanks again for allowing us to stay, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and would definitely return for future ski trips.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. It was just the right size for our family... I especially appreciated the well-furnished kitchen--particularly the crockpot and griddle. We had a great time skiing and tubing, but one of the kids' favorite activities was playing in the snow outside the condo...

Your VRBO listing made some pretty significant cleaims about your home in Winter Park--like its convenience, very warm and bright...warmth and comfort, cleanliness, the kitchen being well-equipped, etc. --and we found all those things to be true!...We were always excited about returning "home" at the end of each day. The hot tub was most refreshing after several hours on the slopes. We so appreciated the comfort of your town home and your personal interest and warmth as we made arrangements... We look forward to future vacations with you. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home with us. ...The condo was so clean and inviting.
