All the amenities, glorious scenery, wonderful back patio/porch, wish we could have stay much, much longer last year. We've rented for a month this year and we can't wait! Beautifully appointed comfortable house with EVERYTHING, complete kitchen with EVERYTHING, and a wonderful, caring and thoughtful owner. House is perfectly located on the golf course, with magnificent views, privacy and safety (gated community). Tons of activities if you wish; golf, hiking, canoeing, boating, horseback riding and shopping; quiet, private setting if you don't. Perfect vacation getaway.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: My family bought this home as a place to escape the heat of Florida. Like so many before and after we ended up moving to Sapphire on a more year round basis to enjoy the cool mountain air. The area has all the feel of a small town and with all that nature has to offer just outside your door step. It truly is a paradise.
Why the Owner Chose Country Club of Sapphire Valley:
The area is easily accessible from most of the Southeastern Cities. The climate is a good 15 degrees cooler than Atlanta or Charlotte. The mountain village of Cashiers just 5 minutes away along with Highlands and Brevard in the immediate area offer wonderful shops, antiquing, boutique dining, craft shows and festivals. Asheville, the home of the famous Biltmore Estate is only 1 hour away.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
It would take you most of the summer to enjoy all the outdoor activities. There are many cultural events and within a short drive are the cities of Asheville, Charlotte and Atlanta. If you like antiquing you have found heaven. Fly Fishers you have a variety of streams to choose from. Skiers, you can walk to the slopes. Golfers you have found the mother lode. Starting in your own back yard you can hike to Waterfalls, Mountain Trails and streams. Hike to famous High Hampton which lies just behind Chimney Top Mountain seen from your back porch.
