Incredible GARDEN LEVEL OCEAN VIEW unit located directly across from Cove Park Bay with a MILLION DOLLAR UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW of the neighboring Islands of Kaho'olawe, Molokini, and Lana'i. Directly in front is Cove Park the premier surfing and paddle boarding area of Kihei. Adjoining Cove Park to the north is Kalama Park, a large ocean front park (about 4 blocks long) that has expansive grass areas, BBQ's, play ground, roller skating rink, skate park, tennis courts and much more. Our fully tiled pool and jacuzzi adjoin a covered tiled eating area, three gas BBQs and the tennis court, all within 100 ft of the Pacific Ocean.
Our condo is THE ONLY 1 BEDROOM RENTAL UNIT AT THE SHORES OF MAUI WITH A NEW SPLIT A/C SYSTEM PROVIDING INDEPENDENT REMOTE CONTROLLED A/C IN BOTH THE LIVING ROOM AND BEDROOM. Other upgrades are: 18' floor tile diagonal pattern throughout, expanded kitchen and new counter tops, new thermopane lanai door and bedroom windows and frames which, when closed, keeps more heat out and the coolness in. Living room, kitchen, bedroom and bath all have ceiling fans. New oak front door with key-less coded entry and locking security screen door. Flat screen HD TV's (39' in the living room and 24' in the bedroom) and free private and secure wireless internet in our unit. Brand new (2012) fully tiled shower with bamboo glass enclosure. Parking right in front with direct access to the condo. New (2013) queen hide-a-bed in living room.
There are NO STAIRS to encounter and the entry to the pool area is ramped for wheelchair access.
We manage our own condo and our housekeeping staff is second to none. #122 is always fresh and clean for arriving guests. NO EXTRA CLEANING FEES.*5 nights or longer

This condo has everything! We loved the fact that there are beach chairs, beach mats & towels, plus an umbrella & soft coolers. Everything we needed for spending the day on the beach. We only had to go across the street to snorkel with the turtles. There are 3 lovely beaches to choose from. We loved going to the Pu Pu night & meeting so many friendly people. Everyone there was either an owner or has been coming back year after year & I can see why. They make you feel at home, like you're part of their family. They also provide lots of info about where & what to do on the island. I seriously doubt I'll ever stay at a Resort ever again. This condo is really beautiful, amazing, wonderful, awsome, peaceful, pretty... etc etc! It is perfectly equipped, very clean and everything was working excellent! We made our own cooking every evening because the kitchen was really perfect! Every evening we enjoyed the amazing sunset from our lanai with a glass of wine.The pool area is also beautiful and there are several nice beaches nearby. It is a perfect place to stay for a longer time! We will come back for sure!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

At the risk of sharing a "well kept secret" and sacrificing future availability...we selfishly confess we loved our rental unit at Shores of Maui. Shores of Maui provides a small sense of community and is within walking distance to many beaches and amenities. It is evident our hosts have invested in many recent upgrades, the dual Air Conditioning units, and two flat screen T.V.s plus the walk in tiled shower with bamboo glass enclosure made our stay so comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, extra linens and personal space available for vacation living was appreciated. It was clean and comfortable. After many day trips of exploring the island, during our three week stay, it was always wonderful to return to our vacation home and enjoy the sunset on our lanai. Our condo owners were very accomodating in making our second trip to Maui so memorable.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.

Our stay at Shores of Maui in Unit 122 was wonderful! The unit is well equipped with all the amenities you need and very clean. The beautiful Hawaiian decor and fantastic view of the ocean and sunset truly give you the feel of paradise. Our stay in unit 122 owned by David and Kate was fantastic! The location was great with easy access to the many fun destinations in Maui. The unit was clean and comfortable, complete with all the amenities including a dual a/c system, newer flat panel TV's and updated shower. We enjoyed the option of cooking at home or eating out and loved the view of the beach from the living room. Our first trip to Maui was everything we hoped for and more thanks to the great accomodations at the Shores of Maui, unit 122. Thanks again David and Kate!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Unit 122 owned by Kate and David is fantastic........clean and well stocked with pool safe accessories. Nice to have newer beach chairs and a beach umbrella as well! Also, can't forget the great recently renovated bathroom, and the dual zone air conditioning. Just a great place to stay.......Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Shores of Maui enjoys a completely unobstructed view of the ocean and 3 adjoining islands. Watch the surfers, paddle boarders, Hawaiian outrigger canoes, whales (seasonal), from our lanai, the tennis court or the pool area. The beaches directly in front of us have come back over the past several years.
Our housekeeper is the best. #122 is always sparkling clean and fresh for your arrival. NO EXTRA CLEANING CHARGE
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Shores of Maui is a 5 minute walk to a major grocery store, restaurants, and shops. The south end of Cove Park is just 100 feet from our property with two small sandy beaches. We are a small 50 unit complex and people return often to enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Join owners and guests poolside at 5:00 PM each Thursday at the PuPu party.
