This amazing beach front home is located on beautiful Waialua Beach. From the deck, you are a few steps away from a pristine sandy beach, crystal clear waters, and amazing fishing and diving. The ocean in front of the house is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, diving, surfing, and many other water sports.
Have yourself a great adventure or just relax and enjoy the view and listen to the waves. There is interesting sea life everywhere as Molokai remains unspoiled and undeveloped. If you want to see true Hawaii, this is the place for you. Turtles cruise the shallows and whales frolic during the late winter and spring.
This three bedroom, two story house pole house has a deck which wraps around 3 sides of the house - perfect for lounging around and enjoying the peace!
My family and friends are from Waialua! We can set you up with fishing charters, boat tours, dingy tours, snorkeling, guided hikes, and even fresh lobster/fish at the house straight from the water! We want to make your Molokai experience truly special - a taste of real Hawaii!

Thank you!! Awesome house, nicer than what we expected. Perfect location; you could throw a pebble into the ocean from the deck! We had a wonderful relaxing and exciting vacation - lots of fun activities - morning walks on the beach, hiking to waterfalls, afternoon barbeques, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, etc. I can't wait to go back. Special thanks to property manager Aunty Joann who was wonderful and helped us with everything and anything. Also thanks to her sons who got us live lobsters and fresh fish!!! Wish I lived in Waialua...Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

As my title implies, we had mixed feelings on this place. It is a great house (if anything better than we expected from the pictures), in a great location (car a must), with good snorkelling right out back (even in high winds as there is a large area inside the rock barrier, which we were limited to), and even 2 kayaks for use. However the upwind neighbor's patio is very close, and they are heavy smokers of both substances, and this was a problem for us, mostly on our own patio/backyard, but also occasionally inside (the bathrooms don't have glass windows, only screens). That said the neighbors are very nice people and did try to limit things, and the owner (who is also very nice) is planning to address the matter- hopefully he will be able to resolve it. I have mixed feelings about posting this- we are probably more sensitive to this problem than most, but as a doctor I feel an obligation here to anyone for whom it may be a concern.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Hi Stuart. Thank you very much for the feedback. As always we are trying to improve the experience in every way possible for our guests. I am very glad that you liked the, house, location, beach, etc. I was very concerned to hear about the people in the rental nextdoor that were smoking a lot of tabacco and cigarettes, etc. Both myself and my property manager have had a discussion with the owners and their property manager and let them know of the issues. The owners of the rental next door a very nice people and we will certainly solve this problem immediately. Thanks and Aloha! Peter

We had a great time in Molokai! We loved sleeping to the sounds of the waves, relaxing and escaping it all! We had a great time exploring this little island! No real contact with the outside world and that was awesome! Peter helped us arrange everything, Aunty Jo checked on us and we relaxed on this wonderful island! BBQ in the back yard, fresh lobster! all fresh produce from the farmers stand! cracked coconut and macadamia nuts... real Hawaii... we will return!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We have vacationed at this property for many years now and always look forward to our next time. The home is great for a small or large group. The view from the home is spectacular with a perfect view of Maui. The home is nicely furnished and immaculately kept with everything that you will need while vacationing. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, or for a romantic getaway.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a wonderful time at this very unique beach house. It is located in a ideal place with great views, sandy beach, fishing, snorkeling and diving. You can hike to areas above the house or just enjoy looking out to the protected reef beyond. It doesn't get more Hawaiian than this.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

My wife and I stayed here for a week in early March, 2012 and enjoyed our stay very much. The beach, the bay, and views of Maui, are all stunningly beautiful and hiking the hills across the street was a very pleasant unexpected treat. We can also verify that given the torrential rains we experienced, the house is sound and does not leak! The listing was mainly accurate except that it should be noted that the TV only plays DVDs. The house was clean and the owner (plus the irreplaceable Aunty Jo!) were very responsive and helpful. We found the house to be charming, comfortable, and well-equipped for our needs. There are things that some may consider to be missing, but we found that lacking a TV, internet, and a dishwasher were benefits, not negatives. Besides, when the occasional island-wide power outage hits all that stuff is useless anyway! Grilling fresh reef fish outside and eating by candlelight is, as they say, "priceless". Molokai is best experienced by people who can adapt to its tranquil pace and appreciate its charm without expecting to live in the lap of luxury. There is adequate grocery shopping in Kaunakakai and a little store five miles from the house has DVDs, some food, supplies, and a walk-up grill. This property is an excellent place for those looking for a real-life Molokai experience and we are looking forward to a return stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! My husband and I visited Molokai in February to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary and stayed at this wonderful home. The pictures and description do not do this property justice, it is SO MUCH better! It was absolutely amazing. The sunrises were stunning and we watched the whales play every morning. Words cannot describe the feeling of sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee watching the sunrise and seeing whales no more than 300 yards out. The best part of the entire stay was the serenity. If you want peacful relaxation and to experience true Hawaii then this is the place to stay. The neighbors were wonderful and the locals that we met took the stay over the top. Thank you to Aunty Jo for making sure are stay was pleasant and thank you Kyle for taking us out fishing and giving my husband a fantastic fishing experience (he is still talking about the octupus!) We will definately be returning to Molokai and know that when we do this will be the home that we hope to stay. Thank you so much Peter for making this trip one we will never forget!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: Aloha and thank you for considering my beach house. I was born and raised in Hawaii. I grew up in this very house on Molokai as a kid and then went to high school on Maui. I have great memories of Molokai and go back there as often as I can. I feel as though that is the one place on earth where I have been truly at peace. I have spent a lot of time in the finance world, working in NY, Philly, LA, Hong Kong, Japan, and even India, and have been lucky enough to see the world. Those experiences helped me to realize how amazing Waialua is and what a unique place Molokai really is. I enjoy fishing, diving, surfing, and a lot of other water sports so Waialua has always been true paradise to me. Waialua has a very strong sense of community and pride. Enjoy yourselves, make friends with everyone, and be respectful! :)
