Thank you David for offering us your amazing condo. This is a great space and it has everything you need and more. We loved how comfortable the beds were and the sofa in the living room. Also, there is an amazing DVD collection and we enjoyed it a lot after putting our little kids to sleep. The apartment is located in a very good spot. Close to all main amazing beaches, restaurants, little stores etc. David has been great to deal with and answered all of our questions. The apartment manager was also very nice and helpful. I hope you choose this place as it is really worth it. We have traveled with our 2 year old son and 4 month old baby and it was just perfect. Also, please make sure you ask David for a direction for a place to eat in San Juan. That was a perfect end to our vacation. Thank you David!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

The stay we had was magnificent. The owner of the property was very helpful in every aspect of the trip. I travelled with my wife and two kids, and they ask me every time we go on a vacation if we are going back to " our apartment in puerto Rico ". The place is great, and definitely looking forward to going and staying there again! Ohh the date was actually 2010.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

This condo is beautiful, the pool is spectacular, and you can go to a different unbelievable beach everyday. Things were so quiet and deserted during the week, you feel like royalty in your manor. A couple hours from the airport in San Juan, fifteen minutes from just about anything you want. Go to gilligan's island, the crescent beach, so many things. There with our 2 y.o. She loved it. Still talks about Puerto Rico. We stayed here spring 2011. If we could afford it, we'd be back every year. Owner was great, worried about us as we were delayed in getting to the villa. Stay here, you won't regret it.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What a treat to be able to stay at this gorgeous apartment! My husband and I spent 4 days and 3 nights enjoying everything this fabulous getaway has to offer from its luxurious accommodations to its fantastic views and nearby pristine beaches. Where to begin … first of all the friendliest owner will call you and after a date confirmation will give you information about so many things to do, so many places to visit, eat at, etc. Second, once you arrive, the apartment administrator will take you by the hand and show you all the amenities the apartment and complex have to offer and will be available for you should you need anything. Lovely lady! Forget about the Ritz! We even had beach towels which I’d forgotten to pack! Everything was immaculate and cared for. Even though there’s a gourmet kitchen available we didn’t use it once. For breakfast you must go to Ritamar Bakery. The local bread and coffee are to die for and for dinner there’s nothing like going to a local restaurant and eating freshly caught fish or lobster so why not take advantage of it! Combate beach wasn’t crowded at all and simply gorgeous. Light and soft sand with beautiful turquoise water … we watched the sunset from there every evening. You must visit the Light House. What a view! On the way to it you will see the remains of an old salt processing plant and lots of sand pipers eating away what looks like foam on the edge of the water but it’s salt! You can visit the Dry Forest in Guanica. Puerto Rico is the only American territory that has both a tropical rain forest (El Yunque) and a dry forest. It’s about a 30 minute drive from the apartment. Finally, you must visit La Parguera, Lajas. It’s about a 20 minute drive to the bioluminescent bay. You take a boat ride at night to experience something very unique, micro-organisms that glow in the water and only exist in a few places in the world. Puerto Rico happens to be one of them! I hope you decide to some day visit this paradise. All I know is that going back for us is now a must!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I really enjoyed my stay. Everything was beautiful the ocean view, the walk to the beach, the dip in the pool. The apt. was spotless, kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom. Clean sheets and towels, dishes, refrigerator and the use of the washer and dryer. Also the building inside and outside is well maintained. It's home away from home. I couldn't ask for more. I highly recommend this place.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Waking up each morning with a view of the Caribbean was spectacular. Enjoyed sipping my delicious Puerto Rican cup of coffee on the balcon and taking in the scenery and listening to the Coquis. It feels like paradise here. The condo is beautiful and nicely furnished. Kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The property is well maintained and nicely landscaped. Owner provided excellent information and recommendations for local dining and sightseeing. The lighthouse is not to be missed. I highly recommend the medianoche breakfast sandwich at Ritamar Market. For dinner, LaMarea is the place to go. Attentive service and the food is prepared by chef Juan Miguel who went to culinary school in Spain. I will definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Wonderful! What a beautiful view of the ocean and since the apartment is on the 4th floor even better. During the day there is a beautiful breeze and with the balcony doors wide open you think you are outdoors on the beach or in a boat. Another spectacular sight was the swimming pool overlooking the ocean. The area is very tranquil. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of fresh linens, towels, new kitchen appliances, new furniture and air conditioners in each of the bedrooms so you can sleep like a baby. Not far from the apartment you will find restaurants that serve delicious fresh fish. There is also a bakery just minutes away by car where you can purchase fresh baked bread, pastries, milk, etc. For bigger groceries and other necessities you would have to drive to a main town to a supermarket, which is not too far by car. You can go for walks, near the apartment there is a trail that is adjacent and separate from the beach shore, and is kept intact as part of the natural resource land where is located. Sneakers are a must on this naturally kept resource and wearing your insect repellent whenever you step outdoors in Puerto Rico is always a good idea. Also, you can drive (a short distance) to the beach and to the Lighthouse at Combate. This Lighthouse has a breathtaking view of the ocean (it is on a cliff) and alongside it there is a lovely beach to go swimming. What I found difficult and sad was leaving this PARADISE. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: A true Shangri-La with electrical back up plant, water cistern reserve, gated perimeter with security guards to make it my safest getaway too especially during a hurricane. Due to our carefully selected furniture, No pets of any kind are allowed! Tourists must have a car to get to and from this corner of Puerto Rico. And if you did not get to enjoy Playa Sucia, we need to talk for your next visit. Thank you Celma.

Your apartment looks beautiful. The view is spectacular and I can not wait to prepare FABULOUS meals in your modern gourmet kitchen.Owner response: Your fish tacos and ceviche made with a local "Viuda" were to die for. A certain 2006 Savignon Blanc from a Latino vineyards in Carneros, Napa (which I am not allow to name) was the perfect match. Remember that a local chef is available if you don't feel like cooking the next time.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2009
About the owner: Born and raised in Puerto Rico. Current resident of California. Enjoy swimming twice a year in the warm Caribbean Sea, and jogging/sweating in tropical early am weather, and dancing at night.
Why the Owner Chose Cabo Rojo:
Cabo Rojo has untouched pristine beaches with the tranquility and seclusion sought by honeymooners, and urban setters looking to chill in paradise.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The magnificent and bountifully fresh seafood the Caribbean sea offers all of us who enjoy shallow and deep sea fishing in calm waters, a contrast to the often turbulent Atlantic Ocean in the north coast. Pristine, secluded beaches just for you to swim in without bathers or waves to break your stroke. The proximity to 5 other spectacular public beaches in the same municipality is overwhelming. Google Cabo Rojo beaches, and view for yourself the splendor of the most peaceful and breath taking beaches in the Caribbean near or right next to protected U.S. Parks available without fees or crowds. Other beach names are Playa Sucia, Buye, Boqueron, El Tuque. A lighthouse with a museum open some weekdays just 10 minutes by car. 6 minutes walking distance to the Cabo Rojo National Wildlife Refuge for bird watchers with miles of walking or bicycling along unpaved flat trails next to desalinization plants on your left, and the Caribbean ocean on your right. This protected land offers a serious challenge to joggers and serious walkers for 5.5 miles to the lighthouse next to Playa Sucia, where you can take a refreshing swim to wash off your sweat and get you ready for your walk, bike or drive back to Costa Del Mar.
