  We just got back from our lovely visit to Tulum. First off- the owners were completely approachable, prompt and easy to communicate with when planning our stay. The villa itself was clean and spacious. The pool was almost always deserted except for our own crew! We traveled as a family: 2 adults, 3 older kids and a one year old. There was a crib provided for the baby. Do be aware that if you have a mobile, adventurous baby (like we do) you will have to be careful as there are stairs, but no baby gate. We simply used chairs to block access. The villa is located such that you will need a car, you cannot really walk to the pueblo and definitely not the beach. This was fine for us, excepting our teen who would have liked a bit more freedom ;) All in all, the villa was great for winter getaway, and Tulum an awesome destination!

  We stayed at Villa Primer Amor with our two children and found it lovely. Well-stocked with books, pool toys, snacks (fresh fruit upon arrival, so thoughtful)--even spare toothbrushes! The caretakers live nearby in Mexico and were gracious and welcoming. We really enjoyed grilling on the patio, having dinner by the pool and reading to the kids in the balcony hammock. Very safe and secure complex; we saw groundskeepers on site daily and chatted with year-round residents by the pool. Close to everything yet far enough away to feel remote and peaceful. We will definitely return again!

  This unique unit is tucked away in the woods but near enough to even walk into Tulum for a meal or a treat. There are a grat variety of restaurants in Tulum. The unit is extremely private, bright and spotlessly clean with unique features in wood and art. The kitchen is modern with all amenities and it's easy to put a meal together in a short time. The bedrooms are large, with very comfortable beds and have large ensuites. There are decks on each level where one can relax with a good book and/or a coffee or just sit and enjoy the surrounding beauty. There is also a small courtyard pool on the property. The nearby Mayan ruins are a "must see" and the amazing beaches with their endless white sand and gently rolling waves will draw you back again and again. Beaches are accessible by a short and inexpensive taxi ride or bike ride if you don't have your own vehicle.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
