Cypress House is lovely and clean. Perfect for our group of four. Lovely and cool after a long day on Kalamalka Lake or wine tasting. The view both day and night was exceptional. 5/5Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.

For a number of years now, our family; kids and grand-kids, has stayed at Cypress Guest House over the New Years Holidays. We have found this place meeting and exceeding all our needs; nearby skiing at Sovereign Lakes, visiting Silver Start for skating and entertainment. The Guest House is nearby shopping, church and all services. The view is stunning, especially in the hot-tub on a fresh winter evening. Our most pleasant host Anita, caters to our every needs; and the house is in impeccable condition for every visit. If you look for fresh air, stunning views and a most comfortable accommodation this is the place. The grand-kids have come to think of the House as their home for the holidays.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We have stayed at the guest house for several years now and always enjoy it.It is home away from home but with a sense of peace and quiet. Great place to unwind. Quiet and very comfortable. You do need a vehicle to get around though as it is in the mountains, kind of like the country in a way.Great walking trails and great view of Kal lake. The owners are very accomodating and very nice people.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This property is amazing, the evenings are so nice sitting on the deck. All the amenities of home, very clean. Well kept gardens. Loads of parking. Enjoyed the trails for walks. I would tell my friends that they could have a family gathering here very easily. All self contained house. Beautiful!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a find. From the welcoming seasonal fresh fruit in the kitchen to the amazing views that welcome you thru the large windows in the heart of the home. This property is immaculately clean, very spacious, super comfortable beds with down comforters. The view is an amazingly Gorgeous Panoramic view of the valley and lake below and hills behind. You feel like you are spending your vacation in a beautiful home because you will be. The owners live in separate quarters on the same property and are easily accessible should you need anything. She is a nurse and he can fix and build anything, in fact he built the home. Privacy is no problem; the home is situated on the property so that maximum privacy is achieved even while sitting on the outside deck. An outdoor spa is also available at the main home perched on the edge of the hillside overlooking the valley below. This was a very relaxing vacation. Can’t wait to go back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
