My wife and I recently spent 6 days at Casa Mar y Sol. We rented a car in Cancun and drove the 90 minutes or so (without incident) to the home. One passes by a guard that monitors traffic going to the homes in this area. Benito let us in and showed us around. After that, it was pretty much time to soak up the sun in the pool and on the beach. The home was spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils. A market that carries just about everything is located about 10 minutes to the south in Telum. We were able to load up on great food (and plenty of beer and tequila) and made ourselves wonderful meals, which we enjoyed outside under the palapa. We also ate 3 meals out at some good nearby restaurants. In retrospect, we wished we had booked a couple more nights, because when it was time to pack up and head back home, we didn't want to leave. We have great memories of our trip to Casa Mar y Sol.

Absolutely beautiful! We were already settled in after our first day. The palapa was our favorite place - to either sit and look at the water or enjoy our meals. It is the perfect house for a family as we could read or swim and still have some shady areas to escape those dreadful perfect sunny days! It was a pleasure to meet Meri and Alan and to have the opportunity to stay in your perfect home. We'll be back. Thank you also to Mauricio for the good care. We're sad to leave. Your house fullfilled all of our expectations with a great bonus = our hosts. It's been a truly memorable experience and we're already looking forward to our next vacation at your casa. What a lovely time we've had - thank you! We had a great time walking the beach, snorkeling and swinging in the hammocks. Alan and Meri's beach recommendation in Si'an Kaan was so good we went 2X. Their recommendation of Mario for a couple of dinners was also excellent. Margot says she had a great time too and thank you for taking care of me - Margot Melissa&Jeremy
