Casa Tropical is located on one of the larger beachfront lots, (1/2 acre) in Tankah Tres, Mexico. Our large, pristine white sand beach begins at your door and extends to the waters edge. It is a 1 1/2 hour drive south of the Cancun airport and only 4 miles north of the magnificent Mayan ruins of Tulum. Reserving a car from the states for pick-up at the airport is recommended.

Tankah is a secluded, mostly residential location with the world's second longest reef just offshore. It is within easy driving distance of 3 major archaeological sites of Tulum, Coba and Chichen Itza. The Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, Xel-Ha, Playa del Carmen, Akumal, great restaurants, beautiful beaches and many other points of interest are close by.

At Casa Tropical you can swim in the moonlight, star gaze, snorkel from our beach or in the nearby cenote, or just stroll the beach for miles. You can watch the sea birds dive for dinner or simply take a siesta in our hammocks or lounge chairs, totally relaxed, caressed by the tropical tradewinds.
