Watch amazing sunsets from the back decks, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves breaking (the ocean is really close!). Thanks to the warm Gulf Stream offshore, Topsail’s climate and water temperatures are mild year-round, and the waves are great for body surfing! Cast your fishing line into the surf or from one of 3 piers on the island. ‘Ocean Interlude’ is close to shopping, seafood dining and golfing. Welcome to your beach escape! Built in 2004, this modern beach home has gorgeous ocean views. Your toes are in the sand in just a few minutes from the beach access down the road, with no busy street to cross! Attractive decor throughout the house lets you know you’re at the beach. There is a spacious, fenced backyard for your kids and well-mannered dogs to play in. Bring your youngest - this home includes a portable crib (for up to 50 lbs/110 kgs max), high chair and baby gate. There are 2 covered decks and 2 sun decks – take your pick! The reverse floor plan of ‘Ocean Interlude’ ensures that you get the best ocean and sound views from the living area on the top floor. There is generous parking area at street level. Here you’ll also find a storeroom with a stash of beach gear – cart, cooler, mats, umbrella – plus a gas grill for cooking all those fish you’re gonna catch! On your return from the beach, an enclosed hot/cold shower takes care of sand before you enter the house
A wet weather entry on the first level leads to 3 bedrooms, each with direct deck access, and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom you come to has its own sun deck. It has a pyramid bunk and TV. The second and third bedrooms share access to a front covered deck, with ocean and sound views. There are 2 twin beds and a TV in the 2nd bedroom, and a queen bed and TV in the 3rd. The laundry room with washer and dryer are also on this floor. The master suite with its own deck is on the top floor, and boasts a Jacuzzi tub and spacious walk-in closet.
The living area offers panoramic vistas of the ocean and sound. Enjoy digital cable on a 42in flat screen TV, and movies on the DVD/CD/VCR player. No problem if you fall asleep in front of the TV - the sofa is also a queen sleeper. You’re on vacation and probably don’t want to even think about the kitchen, but should you get the urge to cook, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, featuring a flat top stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, blender and ice maker. We have provided a selection of movies, books and games for your family’s enjoyment. Other extras include wireless Internet, ceiling fans, vacuum cleaner, iron/ironing board and blow dryer. Each floor has its own cooling/heating system for you to customize your comfort level.

This trip was truly relaxing. While it rained everyday, we still had gorgeous views of the ocean and sound. The weather was moderate and not too hot. This home was great for a family vacation. Location, layout, and amenities listed were all accurate. The property was clean, except for a few extra pet hairs that were easily swiped up. The property was very well-maintained and it was a beautiful house. The owners were very friendly, great customer service. I would recommend this property to family and friends. The house was very close to the beach. Short walk on non-busy road. The views of the beach were great especially for my grandmother who was unable to walk to the beach. She was able to sit and watch the beach for hours from the decks outside. The house was big enough for all of my family to comfortably sit and eat, all getting a great view of the ocean from the windows indoors. There are a lot of stairs for those unable to climb stairs easily. Overall would give the house 4.8 out of 5 stars! Thanks for sharing your home!Did you find this review helpful? I found "Ocean Interlude" exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Firstly the location of the condo so close the beach made for quick decisions for all sand & sea activities. Inside, the decor constantly reminded e of the ocean with shells and ocean motifs tastefully displayed throughout. The amenities were second to none. large screen TV, Wi-fi accessible throughout the condo, verything I'm used to at home was here also. For me thats 100% a winnerDid you find this review helpful? This was just what we needed, plenty of room, clean, quiet, close to the beach (Although February isn't a time for the beach). Was what we needed to spend some quality time with our deploying Marine. Loved meeting the 2 of you on Saturday when we got here. The house is “awesome”. The boys loved having the second floor to themselves. We loved our 3rd Floor privacy. (If only the 2nd floor had a kitchen we would not have seen the boys at all, lol). The views are incredible. You should be considered second row easily.
