Faro de Mita 308 is an exquisite penthouse condo overlooking the El Anclote surf break in Punta de Mita. There are views of mountains and ocean in all directions and the roof top deck includes a BBQ, bar sink, and powder room. When the surf is up, you can check the breaks from the deck. There are lots of other surf choices nearby.
The pool and lush grounds are perfect. The pool has a shallow area for children, enough length for lap swimming, and amazing chairs. The Palapa in the common area can serve for gatherings or just quiet time in the shade.
The Master Bedroom has a king size bed and a marble shower. 2 double beds and a twin are very comfortable and have mountain views.
There is a complete kitchen and lovely dining area, but never fear "Restaurant Row" is just steps away and the village offers cheap dining treasures if you go looking. The beach is just a short walk down the private path. During the winter, you can whale watch from the deck with your morning coffee.
Parking is secure behind the security gate, so your vehicle and boards will be safe overnight. It is also possible to take the bus from the airport and save the cost of a rental car. The village has several small markets and food vendors.

We were very happy with this condo. The pictures are very accurate and we were very comfortable there. We loved being able to leave the patio sliders open all of the time, it felt like we were outdoors all of the time. And no bugs. We had up to 6 in the condo at one time and there was lots of room. Well eqipped as well. The complex was very well maintained and the pool is much bigger than the pics show. Punta de Mita has lots of good restuarants from low to high prices, so a good variety. We had lots of good meals out and also ate in a lot. There is good local shopping and a trip to the Mega every week make cooking, mostly BBQ-ing, very easy. A big thank you for this unit. It was beautifuland came equipped with everything we needed. It was maintained very well and appointed with great furniture. Everybody was ready and expected us upon arrival and took care of everything quickly. When we first arrived the wifi did not work. The staff fixed it within minutes. The pool area was excellent and being maintained on a daily basis. Punta Mita is a great little town and the boys and Tranquila Surf Shop made our trip extra memorable with outstanding surf lessons for the girls. We will be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our February stay at this condo, well stocked for everything you need, just like home. The upper deck patio is a nice place to curl up with a book or for a late afternoon nap. Having the barbeque was a plus. We had a chance to meet some of your neighbours during our stay, all were very friendly and helpful for information about the area. The staff at the condo were fantastic, easy to get hold of if need be and are very quick to respond to anything you may need. Punta Mita is a quite laid back area, just what we like. Lots of restaurants to choose from within walking distance to the condo. A daily walk on the beach for us is a must and we were not disappointed. Beach to the West was rocky but made excellent hiking, lots of sea birds to see along the way, miles of sandy beach to the East. Bus service is very handy and we used it quite a bit to get around, as taxi service is more expensive than Puerto Vallarta area. Busses run about every 10 minutes and you can go all the way to Puerto Vallarta without changing busses. Highly recommend!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers.

Everything was as represented, clean, complete and beautiful. The super market was wonderful and we felt safe in all our purchase's. Driving instructions were very clear and loved the attended parking. Muffins up the street at a deli were great and the delli at the east end of Main St. had very good food.and service. We ate up on the roof and enjoyed the sunset and then the full moon. Does it get much better? Restaurant row was fun and very good food tho a bit expensive on the east end. Would like to have been able to meet more people in some type of social setting. Maybe the restaurants would do a happy hour with treats and invite all visters. Might briing in a few more people. All in all, a great time.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay at Punta Mita. It was a cool January and the water was not as warm as I would have liked., but the beauty made up for it. Please review Lauren's remarks, as she says it very well. It was exciting to have the President of Mexico visit next door. Beach and business people were great. Lots of good walking and good food. We did rent a car and enjoyed that. The roads were rough due to floods in Sept., but emproving. Heard talk of a hottub going in next year, that would be good. Would also like a way to meet other visters. Maybe a happy hour at the pool area with snacks.....Yes, would recommend this condo to any and all friends going to PV.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We spent two weeks here and it was the perfect place to spend the holidays! The condo far exceeded our expectations. The pool and condo grounds are very beautiful and well-maintained.We particularly enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen and the furnished terrace and BBQ. We made some terrific meals! There are also some great - and cheap - beachfront restaurants just outside the gates of the condo. Punta Mita is just right - small, but with enough going on that we never got bored. We didn't rent a car, but ended up getting around on the bus, which we found to be quite easy. We took the bus to La Lancha and went surfing. Also, it is easy to take the bus to Sayulita - and only 24 pesos! All in all, this is a fabulous condo - it feels like home. Everything you need for the perfect vacation. We're already planning our trip next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We are the Cocchiarella family - Kate, Carl, Tucker (17) and Rachel (11). We live in Vail, CO and love the mountains. We also love Mexico. We hope you have a great time in Mita too. You can surf or swim, explore the land or ocean, speak lots of Spanish or just read a book. Make yourself at home.

We love Mexico and Mita has lots of great surfing. The people are friendly and we have make lots of friends there. We hope to visit often. There is always something interesting to see and always something else that we want to do. It is great place to base out of for exploring other parts of Mexico.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Surfing is close by. There is lots of local Mexican flavor, but plenty of luxury choices too. We are right next door to the best 4 Seasons in the world. It is a remarkably beautiful place. Within a couple of hours drive there is also magnificent country. There are lots of birds and other interesting wildlife, not to mention everything that lives in the ocean right out your front door. During the winter, you can see whales from the deck. Life in the condo is very comfortable and relaxing.
