Living Room - Whitefish, MT - Montana Vacation Rental at Big Mountain This lovely, cozy, Ski-In/Ski-Out getaway with private HOT TUB is nestled in the quaint village of the Whitefish Mountain Resort, formerly Big Mountain in scenic Flathead Valley. Our home away from home has 3 bedrooms with loft and 2 full baths, sleeping 8 comfortably. We have recently added a studio apartment with full kitchen and bath that can sleep an additional 4 guests. If you need a little extra room or more privacy, this studio would be a great addition for an additional $50 per night in summer. Studio can be rented separately. This is a superior quality home with cathedral ceilings, open wood-beam construction, and is attractively decorated in rustic pine log furnishings. The home contains many unique Montana touches - cozy comforters, decorator fabrics, and plush linens. For those that can't leave the office behind, we offer HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS and FREE LONG DISTANCE in the United States and Canada. On the main floor is the "Moose Bedroom" with a comfortable king-size log bed, bath, small laundry and boot room, fully-equipped kitchen with new appliances, dining and living room furnished in rustic logs. There is a spacious, wrap-around deck with private hot tub just out the sliding doors from the dining room. Up the spiral staircase you will find the cozy "Pine Cone Bedroom" with queen-size log bed and "Bear Bedroom" with two twin beds and TV/VCR. The loft, where the children like to hangout, has a comfortable queen-size log futon. The second bath with shower is on this floor. A total of eight guests can be accommodated quite comfortably. The finest of dining can be found just steps from your door at the Cafe Kandahar and the "local hangout", Hell Roarin, is a few minutes walk through the upper village area. For more wonderful restaurants, take a scenic 10 minute drive into the quaint town of Whitefish or use the free snowbus shuttle from your front door during ski season. Because of the shuttle service, many of our guests choose not to rent a car. The Whitefish Mountain Resort and Whitefish have plenty of wonderful restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Enjoy the serenity of the great outdoors in your own private hot tub on your own private deck. This townhome is the perfect family getaway. And best of all, you can ski right to your back door after a fun and exhausting day on the slopes. (Our well-maintained, home away from home, is privately owned and managed. Because Bill and I do not employ a property manager, we are able to offer reasonable rates and personalized service. We are "locals" and know the area.
