3rd Annual Family Ski Outing to Whitefish

It's hard to come up with original superlatives to describe the wonderful vacation we've had the past 3 years. After a hard day of skiing, there is nothing like returning to clean, modern, comfortable accomodations to relax and recover. The Sans Souci condo is certainly all of those by itself, so when coupled with thoughtful, helpful owners and the best snow and shortest lift-lines of any resort I've visited, the result is a total package that will keep you (us) coming back!

This was our first holiday together as a blended family. The condo was gorgeous and very well equipped. Even nicer than the photos suggested. We had a really great time and would definately do this again. Cindy was awesome to deal with and even provided us with a christmas tree and ornaments which added to the ambiance in the condo. Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed our 4 night stay. We felt as though we were staying in a luxury cabin. There was plenty of room for 6 of us to stretch out and relax. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing board games. You are a short 10 minute drive for shopping and restaurants. The owners were easy to work with and the property was clean and very well maintained. I would happily recommend this property and hope to visit again.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Sans Souci last week, and hope that someday we can return during the ski season, as the location at the base of Whitefish Resort is perfect. The private hot tub was popular with everyone and the condo is a very comfortable place for a family trip. We had a great 55th anniversary dinner for my parents at McGarry's in Whitefish and also enjoyed a meal at The Shak. There is so much to do an see in the Whitefish area that we look forward to returning in the future.

Your property is perfect....clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. We were in the area for a labor day weekend wedding and spent five days and four nights at your beautiful mountain home. Our two adult children joined us and loved your place as much as we did! Your hospitality....from the delicious contents of the welcome basket to your communiques to your genuine warmth.....were great touches. The weather was lovey..clear, brilliant blue, sunny sky and your location allowed us to quickly jaunt between Glacier National Park and the surrounding cities. We often wondered why so many of our friends' children have never left Montana after attending college there and now we know why. Thanks for helping to make our stay in Montana absolutely perfect!

Wonderful Stay At The Base Of Big Mountain

This property is actually much nicer than this complete set of pictures even depict. The biggest advantage for us (two couples) was having two floors each complete with our own suites. It is very tastefully appointed with items that reflect the geographical area. This unit could easily sleep 8 people so the 4 of us had lots of room and actually used one of the bedrooms for our bags. The other big advantage is the location. You can see the general area where this condo is located at the base of Big Mountain from all over the Whitefish area. It beckons you back home!

Our family of four recently stayed at Cindy & Bill's condo up on Big Mountain, loved every minute of it. It is like a home away from home. I can't think of one thing that we needed, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. Very comfortable and cozy, easy to unwind and begin our vacation. Sitting in the private hot tub became one of our evening rituals, we all had a wonderful sleep afterwards. We spent most of our time in and around Whitefish but did go on a short hike in the area which was wonderful especially seeing the deer just behind the condo. This is our second time staying at Sans Souci and it definitely won't be our last. Cindy was incredibly helpful with booking as well as information about the area. Another special feature was the gift basket that greeted us upon our arrival plus the welcome note on the blackboard. You will not be disappointed if you stay at this condo. Thanks again to Cindy & Bill.

Perfect August 2011 stay at San Souci

We just returned from an excellent stay at this condo. The condo is really nice and exactly as the pictures show. We especially enjoyed the outdoor private hot tub after a day of white-water rafting. The unit is extremely clean and well-stocked and the gift basket was a really nice touch. We rent a lot of VRBO places and this is one of the best without a doubt. Thanks Cindy! Great Time in Whitefish

We spent a week in beautiful Whitefish, with our home away from being Sans Souci. The condo was perfect for us, very clean and neat, fully stocked kitchen and a great location. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trails, zip lining and the walk in the trees - all right outside our front door!!! It was an easy ten minute drive into to the town of Whitefish for some great restaurants, but one of our favorite meals was at Hell Roaring Restaurant just a small walk from the condo. After a long day of touring Glacier National Park (a 30 minute drive to the entrance) we also enjoyed just putting something on the grill and soaking in the hot tub! Thanks to Cindy for making us feel so welcome and helping us when we had trouble with the wifi. We will definitely be back, maybe for some skiing this time!!!

Cindy was great to work with from the time we booked the vacation - she was very helpful with things to do, dining....The Sans Souci unit was very nice and worked well for our two families. We had four adults and four kids - The 3 bedrooms and loft were a perfect fit - We spent most of our time in the family room which was a great place to relax after long days of hiking, rafting, swimming....The private hot tub was also a great way to end the day. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area. We will recommend to all of our friends. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

We really loved this condo!! We enjoyed the town and especially loved Glacier N.P.!!! We wish the Walk in the Trees and restaurants on the mountain would have been opened. Just spend 5 nights at this Whitefish townhome. I have to say that this place have everything you will need to enjoy a great vacation. This kitchen is so well stocked - loved it. The welcome gift basket is a real nice touch. The hottub is just what you need after a day of skiing. The unit is decorated in a great mountain resort look that I just loved. 2nd Annual Whitefish Ski Vacation (3/12-3/18)

A few nice additions (ultra-comfortable sectional couch, flat panel TV's) to an already terrific place, along with significant snowfall leading up to and during our week, led to another great Spring Break ski adventure. As was the case last year, the condo was clean, stocked with everything except our groceries, and a pleasure to return to after a day of hard skiing. Owner Cindy once again helped us save some $$$ by lining up lift tickets from Costco, provided a thoughtful welcome basket, and her 'check-in' call the night after arrival to make sure everything met our expectations was over and above the call of duty. We will look to stay here again next year!

Howdy, We plan a winter retreat every year (7 years running) and have stayed at multiple locations on Big Mountain. The San Souci is probably the best overall house we have rented. Between the ski-in and ski-out ease, incredibly clean condo, gas grill on the deck, and big hot-tub, it's an ideal set-up. Plus the owners add so many personal and thoughtful touches - from the welcome phone call to make sure you have arrived safely, to her willingness to pick-up lift tickets, to the welcome basket of goodies upon arrival, it's like staying at your favorite aunt's condo ! Thanks Cindy and Bill for making our annual Whitefish trip such a special experience. See you again this January.

Just a quick note...... had a really nice stay in Whitefish! Our condo was as ski-in/ski-out as you can get, which was a very high priority for us. Ski-in to your back door, walk across a parking lot to ski-out... very convenient and easy! The condo had a great mountain feel/atmosphere, and housed the 8 of us without a problem. Not to be overlooked, is how great it was working with the owners to plan our trip. They made the planning seem effortless.... and you knew there would be no surprises upon arrival. Comfortable Accommodations

We came to the Whitefish area for a two-week golf and hiking vacation during the shoulder season (end of September/beginning of October). While the mountain was not hoping with activity, it was exactly what we wanted, a private, comfortable place to relax, especially with the hot tub, after a long hike in the park or 36 holes of golf. The Riebe's were very accessible during our stay when needed and they provided great information prior to the visit. Kitchen was fully equipped and the grill made dinner preparation convenient and pleasant. If coming to visit Glacier National Park, be aware that the West Glacier entrance is about a hour away, but that didn't stop us from driving twice to the Two Medicine area near the East Glacier entrance for spectacular hikes. As we were just two adults, we are not best to judge how this place would be for families, but we definitely would recommend this place to others, any time of the year.

Our stay at Sans Souci #2 (thanks to the Riebe family) was thoroughly enjoyable. The condo property was easy to find and right in the middle of lots of fun things to do on on the mountain plus very close to shopping, etc. in Whitefish or Kalispell. The property was well maintained and was portrayed exactly as on the VRBO photographs. Cindy Riebe was magnificent in answering all questions and concerns being both helpful and friendly. Great Stay in San Souci

We traveled to Whitefish for a quick trip through Glacier National Park. The park was wonderful but we especially loved coming back to San Souci for restful evenings. We hopped into the hot tub, grilled on the deck and enjoyed board games on the large dining room table. The pictures are exactly how the condo is: comfortable, spacious and very welcoming. The sleeping arrangements worked great for our families with teens and kids. We hope our next trip to Whitefish will be for skiing. I'm looking forward to quiet days reading my book while my family skis. (In this condo that will be no hardship!) Thank you Cindy for making our vacation so easy.

Fabulous Vacation in Whitefish!

So, it's May 24th right now and I'm still thinking about our wonderful ski vacation in March. This vacation town home was so nicely appointed, perfectly located and had plenty of options for sleeping arrangements. We were welcomed with a beautiful basket of goodies. The owners were flexible and helped us with arrangements for where to put our belongings while waiting for our train (which left later than our check out time). We loved the hot tub after long days of skiing and snowboarding! Just a great place to stay. Our whole family loved this place!!!

The five of us stayed March 13-19, 2010. Fantastic place!! Location, amenities, condition, decor, and comfort. Other than food, everything was there, from spices to laundry detergent. We were more than pleased. The photographs on the site don't do it justice. Owner is very thoughtful and pleasant to deal with. Spring skiing was excellent with lots of sun, snow and warm temperatures. Resort workers were extremely friendly. We hope to return to Whitefish, and if we do we'll try to stay at this condo again.

Our family spent 6 nights at Sans Souci 2 and found it to be the perfect accommodation for the 8 of us. We had the pleasure of spending a week at San Souci with our family. With a group of 10 we also used the studio apartment below. Cindy went out of her way to ensure that we were welcome and comfortable. She assisted in purchasing lift tickets at a reduced rate and left a basket of nice goodies on the table for us. The condo was very clean and felt roomy enough for all 10 of us. The hot tub was very well maintained and private. The ski out ski in ability was very much appreciated. All in all Sans Souci was a great place to stay. We have already looked into booking it again for next year. Cindy is a wonderful host and her condo was outstanding. Whitefish Mountain is an amazing place to visit and Sans Souci made it even better.

My girlfriends and I got together for a 5 year reunion at Sans Souci. Everyone loves to hike so this was the perfect setting! We loved the decor and furnishings and found that there were plenty of linens,towels and supplies. Since we all love to cook, we appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked with pans, cooking and grilling utensils, disehs, etc. One night a friend picked wild flowers for the outside table and we shared appetizers and a full course Italian meal under the stars. What a memorable evening, drinking Amaretto Sours, and listening to Andrea Bocelli on the CD player. We had a great reunion. Thanks also to Cindy, who answered all of our questions and was easy to work with.

This is our 10th year at Cindys San Souci accommidations. We will, without a doubt, make 11, 12 and more! You can roll into the back via Halleys run, fall into the hot tub and melt away the days mountain adventures. Fully recovered, make your way to the Beer Stube and have your favorite beverage or.... several?!! (be sure to get your free souvenir ring. A must for every Big Mountain visitor! Also, Find the Minnesota YES licence plate on the wall. their mine!.. :D ) Visit the Hellroaring Saloon and all the Big Mountain Stores and folks ( Be sure to say "Hi" to Murph and Susan at the summit house!). The best however, is returning to the San Souci and relaxing in a quiet and family friendly space. Without worries, among the best of friends, laughing, relaxed, spend an evening with work a million miles away, resting in the most comfortable beds and ready to challenge the mountain in the morning. Thanks Cindy for all the efforts you put into making our Montana Adventures the best memories possible! We stayed in your place the week after Christmas. This is the third time that we have stayed at Bill and Cindy's wonderful condo. This is one of our favorite places to stay. It is very warm and inviting and the updates that Cindy has done are amazing. We had six people in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub is a welcome sight at the end of a long day of skiing. Our hats go off to Cindy and her family for making us feel so welcome in her place, which includes a nice basket of goodies! We stayed at Sans Souci for Thanksgiving week 2008. We had a wonderful time.. This is one of the nicest condos I have stayed in. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner here with all the trimmings. Everything was provided all we did was bring the food. The hot tub is just an added bonus! Everything is so well thought out for a home away from home.. Thanks again for wonderful memories.

We stayed at San Souci late Sept/Oct, 2008. This was one of the most beautiful condos we have rented. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance and utensil we needed. The condo is beautifully decorated. Even though most of the tourist attractions were closed at this time we had a wonderful time and would certainly come again some time. This condo was even more wonderful than we hoped and certainly the photos do not do it justice.

We stayed at San Souci #2 from Aug 3 - 10th and found it just like home, very comfortable and in a fabulous location. All you need to take is your clothes & food as everything else is provided. Make sure to pack a bathing suit because the private hot tub is heaven especially after a day of hiking up the mountain. We loved staying on Big Mountain again for the quietness as well as the view from the top. We definitely will go back to Cindy & Bill's townhouse.

My brother, sister-in-law, their 2 sons, my husband and I stayed in this condo while we were in Whitefish for a family wedding. It was extremely clean and accommodated all of us with room to spare. It was well equipped, especially with towels. The owners were very easy to communicate with, friendly, and pleasant to talk to. I can only imagine how great a place it is during ski season. We were welcomed to the San Souci with a beautiful gift basket with delicious goodies for all. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation here in early June. We came to visit Glacier Park and the Whitefish area and were very happy with this property. I work in the Property Management business and the Riebe's have done an excellent job of maintaining a unit that meets guests needs. Nicely furnished & updated, there are plenty of towels & hot water, a fully equiped kitchen, and all the appointments are in great working order. We rented both units and our teenagers loved having their 'own' place downstairs!

Thanks for the use of the condo. It had everything needed for our annual buddies golf trip. Fully equipped, lots of room and the hot tub was great. The welcome basket and phone call was a nice touch. We'll definitely be back. Thanks.

Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us. It was perfect for two families. The accomodations were very well kept, everything worked great. Hot tub was awesome to have on the deck. The ski-in/ski out worked perfect we never moved our vehicle the whole time. We will definately come stay at the condo again. What a wonderful vacation for us all. Thank you so much....

Thank you so much for a great stay Cindy. We had a ton of fun. The Sans Souci was cozy, and yet roomy enough to comfortably hold 2 families. The mountain was in great shape and the crowds were minimal. Location, location, location! Thanks again!
