SPACIOUS 2300 SQ FT, BEAUTIFULLY FURNISHED, TWO STORY HOME. The layout of our home is inviting from the moment you open the door. It's the perfect family get away! With Crystal White Beaches waiting for you just a block away! We have many repeat clients and pride ourselves in maintaining this home for everyone to enjoy.
Gathering in the fully-appointed kitchen with plenty of room for cooks and helpers. Enjoy casual dining away from the sun on the covered patio. Go upstairs and relax on the over sized (approx 280 sq ft)sundeck during the day. At night, enjoy a quiet evening, just chatting or looking at the stars!
The second bedroom has a queen-size bed,plenty of closet space and a full bath off the room. Third bedroom has 2 twin beds. Both rooms are newly carpeted for comfort and quiet. They share a large full bathroom. Both rooms have TV's and DVD players.
The second floor has the spacious Master Suite. There is a sitting area for relaxing and watching TV, a DVD or catching up on the day. The wrap around windows and sliders make it easy for you to enjoy the huge balcony!During the day,you get to decide whether you want sun or shade. There is a large private bath, with an over sized shower. There is also 2 closets, plenty of room for hanging or folding.
Off the Master Suite is a 8x10 room with a full size,(extra thick cushion)futon. Great for young families who want the children close by. Plenty of room to set up a porta-crib.TV , DVD player in this room as well.
Laundry room has space for the full washer/dryer, plenty of room for the wet towels and swimsuits!We also offer a rack for drying specialty items or suits that can't hit the dryer.
We offer High Speed Wireless Internet for those that need to stay in touch. Upgraded Towel service for the house is provided.
We are located within 1-2 miles of just about everything! Rent jet ski's on the beach (3 blks). Shopping (1 mile). Whether it's golf,some of the best courses, The Destin Commons Shops,Silver Sands Outlets, Big Kahuna Water Park, The Track for kids, Baytowne Wharf area, great restaurants, or a leisurely walk on the beach. It is amazing the convenience we are to it all!

My husband Rich and I have been going to the Destin area for over 15 years. Every year we would say, "we should own something"...we would look, but nothing fit our needs 100%. In Sept '03 we met up with friends for lunch before leaving to go home. Rich called me on my cell and told me to turn down South Holiday Rd. There was an open house going on-it was everything we had wanted-spacious, location, and it was brand new! The rest is history, we love the house 6 years later and hope to retire one day when our girls leave for college! that's the plan....

One of the best houses we have ever rented. It was definitely a home away from home. There were eight of us spending Thanksgiving week together. The house was exactly as described by the owner. Everything was clean and well cared for. There was nothing lacking in the kitchen which made it a great place for preparing Thanksgiving dinner! It is an easy walk to the beach (which we did every day!). Our favorite place to eat was Pompano Joe's. Antique stores and outlet malls were nearby. We will rent "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" again!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The house was great! Very clean and in very good shape. Only a short walk from the beach and short drive from many shops and restaurants. Pompano Joes is walking distance along the beach and great for Happy Hour drinks on the beach. The House is very large and much bigger than we anticipated. No issues whatsoever and had a great spring break trip.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our stay at 5 O'Clock Somewhere was great! We had 2 families staying there, a total of 7 people and it could have slept more. The upper floor was so spacious as was the kitchen and living room area. Walmart and grocery stores were not far away and there was a CVS on the corner for quick trips. The outlet mall was also really close by. In walking distance was Pompano Joe's, Alvin's Island surf shop, as well as others. We at at Pompano Joe's one night and used their call ahead seating. We waited at the house for a bit, then walked over to avoid having to park and were seated within 5 mins of arriving. Nights were spent on the upper patio, or around the large coffee table playing dominos or just relaxing in the comfy couches watching Shark Week (not advised while at the beach I may add ;) The walk to the beach is not long. Many days we would go down in the morning with all our stuff and leaving it down there to come back to the house for lunch and then later after dinner go back down and enjoy the sunsets on the beach and bring everything back to avoid haulling stuff back and forth too much. We also had an All Terrain Wagon so our toddler didn't have to walk to the beach every day. It was hard to haull it down the stairs at the beach access but down by Pompano Joe's is a public beach access with a ramp. We used it on the last day and wished we could have done so earlier in the week. The farther walk was worth it with the wagon. All in all we had a great stay at this house and would recommend it to others. The pictures accurately reflect how nice the house is and the owners go to greath strengths to keep this house clean and up to date. Plus they were willing to work with us to meet our families needs while we stayed in their house.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed in "5 o'clock somewhere" beach house for the first time in 2007 for a week and had such a great time and the house was so nice that in 2011 when we planned a trip back we knew that was where we wanted to stay. I cannot say enough good about this house!!! The location is perfect to everything, a short walk to the beach and short drive to shops & great food. The huge covered porch with grill, table & chairs, and plenty of space to leave all your beach gear. The inside is extremely clean:) super spacious, well decorated and very comfortable. Our boys went to surf camp every morning from 9-12 and then we would have lunch right there at Joe's and it's all walking distance from the house. We had a friend that was in Destin the same time as us and, they had rented a condo, she came by and looked at the house and said "Wow we got ripped off on the tiny condo we are at" :( ~ skip the condo this house ROCKS!!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We have stayed at " 5 O'clock Somewhere" several times. Each time it is like coming home, the kitchen is to die for and it is more fully stocked than anyone could wish for. There's always freshly painted rooms and a new appliance or new furniture. Everything is up to date and working perfectly. We love the wide open space of the living area and the huge master bedroom and bath. We have always found everything to be very clean and well kept up. It is close to the beach and a beautiful park, called the James Lee Park about 2 miles from the house. There is a great walkway and a gathering place by the Crab Trap restaurant. We walk there everyday and it is a great place to meet new people. There are a lot of eating places close too, The Crab Trap and Pompano Joe's are two restaurants close by, our favorite is McGuire's Irish pub in Destin. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to experience a place close to the gulf beach, and beautiful sunsets.
