This cozy lake home is located on the north side of beautiful Maple Lake, approximately 5 miles south of I-94, Alexandria, MN and appx. 1 mile from Forada. MJ'S is FAMILY ORIENTED with a large yard and 100ft of private lakeshore. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, it is the perfect place to relax, re-group and spend quality time with your family. Sunsets are beautiful and the sun simply dances on the crystal clear water. Spend the day on the water boating, or fishing and top off the day with a cozy bonfire at night. Experience and enjoy a wonderful, relaxing get-away with all the amenities of home! We do our best to accommodate you in every way.
If you would like to bring your own boat, the public access is just down the road, making it easy to get your boat in and out of the water.
Alexandria is just minutes away and boasts wonderful shopping, restaurants, golf, a winery and much, much more. Rodina Golf Course is just a few miles south of MJ's, and Forada has two bars/restaurants with great food for the nights you don't want to cook!
MJ's on Maple is available for rent in the winter months (off-peak Season) as well! This is an ideal getaway for snowmobilers, ice fisherman and family gatherings. You can snowmobile across the lake and cross Highway 29 to get to Lake Reno. Sit by the cozy gas fireplace, read and relax.

You can have a personal vacation experience that you would not be able to find at a busy resort or multi-unit complex. Maple Lake is truly one of the best lakes around, and very few have ever compared to it for me. Crystal clear water, excellent swimming, fishing and amazing sunsets are just a few of its' many attributes. A large yard, 100 ft of lakeshore, numerous maple and birch trees create a great sense of privacy and beauty.

I have a lifelong, wonderful relationship with beautiful Maple Lake and the great people here. My family owned a cabin here for over 35 years but sadly, it was sold over 10 years ago. Growing up, we used to spend our summers on Maple Lake, and I have fond memories of fishing, boating, exploring and all my summer friendships. I had always hoped to one day be 'back on the lake' and was very elated to be able to find property again on Maple Lake.

I grew up on this lake, so it was fun to come back. The water is so clean and the memories so clear. Sit back have a beer don't think about work and ........................................Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! There you are............gone. Life is too short, not to have fun.

Had a wonderful stay at MJ's. The home is very roomy and updated very nicely. The lake is unbelievable, clear with a wonderful sand bottom. We had a great time and will hopefully return. I highly recommend it!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This cabin/lake home is absolutely great. It was clean, neat, updated, and very comfortable. There is plenty of room for a large family. We particularly enjoyed the 3-season porch, fires in the fire pit in the late evenings, the lake raft, and the large dock. The lake is also very clean and we had great luck fishing.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
