  I arrived almost two hours past the agreed meeting time and wonderful patient Shelley was still there waiting. She was a very nice greeting to a foreign city and explained everything about the apartment you might want to ask but too tired at the time ot think of. The apartment itself was really wonderful and was very spacious by Paris standards. The separate bedroom was very quiet and cozy and the metro stop (st paul) was a 5 minute walk from the front door. There are several restaurants/bars nearby, including one 2 doors down from the entrance! It truly felt like home away from home and there were no problems at all throughout the whole experience going as far back to Elodie when I made the original reservation. I received the security deposit back about 2 weeks after arriving home and didn't even have to request it. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in a more "local" scene in Paris and not be surrounded by tourtists. A+++!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  The Sevigne apartment delivered all we expected when we rented it: the great location (central but reasonably quiet) in the Marais with its restaurants, shops and museums, the metro stop around the corner, the spaciousness of the living room, the cozy bedroom, the functional kitchen (so we could actually prepare the goodies we found for example at the Beauvau market), the fast broadband internet connection, and so much more. We highly recommend it!

  Very atractive and well mantained apartment in a wonderful part of Paris.Close to beautiful shops, restaurants and Metro. Perfect.

  Michele, I wanted to thank you and Willa so much for the wonderful hospitality and beautiful apt. I've had several people ask since I've returned how I found out about renting an apartment and I have referred them all to you. I adore Paris and found the atmosphere to be perfect in the Marais district and the people to be warm and welcoming. I will definitely return, although I don't think the next time I'll want to leave. A most sincere Thank you to you for your help with everything.

  My wife and I stayed in the rue Sevigne apartment in February 2006. It was our first time in Paris. We searched (long and hard) for an apartment with character and in a characteristic neighborhood; comfortable and quiet; near public transportation (Metro, taxi and bus)and near shops (wine, cheese, bakeries, etc.); and, most of all, with good, honest and trustworthy service. Sevigne had it all. Michele and Yetunde were great. And, of course, Paris had it all.

  My husband and I loved the apartment. It is well-located, impeccably clean and has everything one needs. We were met by cheerful and professional agents, and found the entire service impressive...the best we've experienced anywhere in the world.

  Flat was great location and completely appropriate for a couple with 2 small babies and some friends to stay for a couple of nights...we did not venture too far from le Marais for the whole 10 days!!!

  We stayed for a month in November/December 2005 and the flat was exactly what we wanted: spacious;well furnished; warm; quiet at night and in a great area for exploring Paris. Thanks.

  We stayed here for a week while working on a project. The large table made work a dream and the easy high speed internet access was super. When we did venture out, the neighborhood was fantastic with great food and shops. Yetunde's custom travel guide was really helpful, especially the recommendation of the Blue Elephant. Easily one of the best Thai meals of my life...after so much French food, you start to crave the other stuff. Thank you thank you! Cynthia

  We spent a week in Paris during May of 2005 and stayed at 17 Rue de Sevigne for the entire period. The apartment exceeded our expectations and offered a great location with wonderful restaurants, shops and museums within blocks, and a metro stop just around the corner from which to explore the city. The opportunity to experience Paris from this neighborhood residence greatly added to our trip. Michelle and Yetunde were both professional and accommodating in assisting us with the arrangements. We hope to return to Paris soon and if available we will stay once again at the Sevigne.

  We stayed in Sevigne 17 in February '05. The apartment was terrific: great location, comfy bed & bedding, fully stocked kitchen, and beautiful dining/living area. I will definitely be back there for future Paris trips.

  We stayed at the Sevigne apartment for Christmas '04. We've stayed in multiple flats overseas and this one just moved to the top of our list as our favorite. Everything in the apartment was in perfect order and the neighborhood was lovely. Yetunde's booklet was a great help as was the orientation of the apartment she gave us upon meeting us there. There are a lot of nice little shops in the area as well as wonderful bakeries and places to eat. We had a wonderful trip and it was due in part to the fabulous area and accommodations we stayed in.

  The apartment is well-appointed, charming, and very clean. We also like its location in the Marais, with numerous shops, restaurants, and the St. Paul Metro stop on line 1 nearby. The agent responsible for the apartment, Yetunde, was terrific and really helped us to become acquainted with the apartment. A book that she prepared on the apartment and the neighborhood was also a big help. We totally enjoyed all aspects of staying in this apartment and would definitely return again.
