  We stayed in this fantastic rental for 16 days while visiting with our two young children and it was truly a home from home (actually nicer than our home really). The apartment and location were perfect for children (very near the park with lots of stuff to do, and easy to get to the ocean via the tram), and we all loved the neighbourhood restaurants and cafes. We also found the beds very comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped (although to be honest we didn't really do much cooking). John and Joyce were wonderfully accommodating and provided very prompt assistance whenever we needed help or advice. In conclusion a great find, highly recommended, we will be returning every time we are in the region!

  This experience was our first using this type of website. We found that the location was excellent for our needs. The apartment looked just like the pictures on the internet. It was well maintained and nicely decorated. The owners, John and Joyce were extremely pleasant and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more. If we return to San Francisco, we will definitely check on using this property again.

  My husband and I brought our boys to San Francisco for their first visit and we absolutely loved this rental! It is truly a lovely flat. Clean, convenient, and calming - it was the perfect place to come home to after long days exploring the city. John and Joyce were very personable and responsive. I don't think we'll ever be able to go back to a hotel after this experience! Highly recommend.

  I booked this VRBO because of its proximity to UCSF--my mother was to undergo some extensive medical testing and I did not want to stay in a hotel, but somewhere that felt like home. The owner could not have been more accommodating in terms of dealing with several changes to our schedule and even offered to help me with my mother as he could since I was going to be taking care of her on my own. Great experience!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the arrangements were straight forward and low stress. The apartment was beautifully presented and well fitted out in every way. Plenty of room and space to spread out. The owner left many helpful tips and local advice on where to eat and find groceries etc. This was very useful for newcomers to the town. The location was great -very close to the Golden Gate Park (< 5 minutes walk) and public transport. No need for a hire car in San Francisco the public transport is everywhere and runs often.

  Our stay was absolutely fantastic!! John has thought about everything, and he was quick replying to all our questions. The apartment itself is gorgeous (much larger and nicer than the pics suggest), and we already recommended it to friends and family. The location is excellent for anyone who visits San Francisco and wants to have a great neighborhood experience, with several restaurants and shops only a short walk away. The apartment is a few blocks from Golden Gate Park, Cole Valley and UCSF, with Ocean Beach and downtown quickly accessible using the N Judah Muni line that's half a block away. Don't miss out on this one!

  My husband, two teen daughters and I booked this wonderful San Francisco apartment last minute, and we feel so lucky that it was available. The owners were so accomodating. The apartment is clean, beautifully decorated, and the beds are extemely comfortable (our girls raved about them). The kitchen has everything you need, although we didn't use it much, but the laundry room came in handy. The unit is in a perfect location with Irving St at the north end of the block - lots of great restaurants (esp. for breakfast), and we caught the N train from Irving each day to explore downtown SF, Fisherman's Wharf, etc. Golden Gate Park is two blocks away, and Haight-Ashbury area is a short, pleasant walk. We enjoyed ourselves so much, and look forward to returning to SF and this terrific property.

  I stayed this place for 1 month with my friends. The apartment was much bigger than I expected. The photos are not enough to explain how wonderful this place is. The hosts were very accomadating . We all really enjoyed ourselves and the accommodation was great, we will definately be back. Thank you very much for such a wonderful place.

  * Nice location --- near GG Park, the Muni, etc. * Excellent house --- spic and span, fully furnished and nicely decorated. * Very accomodating and thoughtful host --- thank you, John! Everything we needed for our vacation stay. It's like home away from home. If we go to SF again, we will definitely choose to stay in the same house. * Highly recommended!!!

  I have to admit, I was a little nervous booking this rental since there were no reviews, it was much less expencive than other properties, and I've never stayed in a vacation rental in San Francisco. I am so glad that I did. The owners are wonderful people and have accuratly descibed their property. It suited us perfectly. The closet is stocked with books and board games that kept the children occupied, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen has everything we needed besides food that we easily walked to the market to buy, and it is a clean and well maintained house. It was quite easy to catch the N train to Union Square where we caught the trolly to Fisherman's Warf, or we could have driven in and used a parking garage. The Cliff House at Ocean Beach is just 2 miles the other direction where there is a wonderful walking trail that we'll have to do next time we're in town. Don't pass this opportunity to stay in a quiet part of town by. You won't regret it. Thank you John and Joyce.
