Water front on Ninigret Pond! This 1 ¼ acre property is located at the very end of a small private dirt road, it offers ideal privacy. It includes a new 90’ dock with a 20’ x 8’ floating platform, and a swimming ladder at the end of the dock. There is also a mooring which can handle additional boats. One can walk down to the new dock and boat or kayak to Boat Beach and enjoy four miles of pristine private beach.
The house faces southwest so you can enjoy beautiful sunsets every night on the pond. This entire view is comprised of conservation land. There is a prevailing wind from the southwest for most of the summer.
This 1600 square foot, 4 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath home includes 1 king bed, 2 queens and 2 twin beds. This layout is ideal for 6 adults and 2 children as the 4th bedroom is two twin beds.
It has been completely renovated and has all new furnishings. There is a spacious eat-in kitchen, open living room with a fireplace and plenty of dry firewood, and a private dining room, all with remarkable views of the pond. Cable TV, DVD, Netflix/ROKU-On Demand movies and wireless internet are available. There is no landline telephone as most clients use their cell phones.
You can walk to Charlestown Beach in under 15 minutes, or ride in just a few short minutes. You can get a local permit to harvest clams and steamers in Ninigret Pond. We are located directly across from the breachway inlet where the tide brings in fresh water from the sea twice daily. The salt pond is safe and protected, as it is buffered by Charlestown Beach. You can boat directly to Block Island from your front door. Ninigret Pond is connected to Green Hill Pond, so a small boat or kayak provides access. Abound with wildlife, these conservation areas provide hours of exploration without ever getting in your car!

Great house and property. The view was awesome, we never even went out for dinner because we didn't want to miss the sunsets. I've rented many beach houses over the years from Cape Cod to Delaware and this was definetly one of the best equipped. We loved kyacking ,fishing from the dock and playing catch on the huge lawn with the grandchildren.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We rented this house for a mini family reunion and it worked out great. Plenty of space for everyone. We had 7 adults, a toddler, and an infant and the house didn't seem crowded at all. Good bakery not to far away and the proximity to the beach was perfect. Great view from the living and dining areas looking out on the water.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.

My family and I recently stayed at this home. What a great spot. Ninigret Pond and the beaches in this area are fantastic. The location of this home is great. Pond front with some of the best views on the pond. The home was great. Tastefully and comfortably renovated with everything you would need for a vacation. Brian, the owner was very accomodating and made us feel at home. It's difficult to find a good rental property, trust me we have had many bad ones. This is not one of them. It is spacious, comfortable and clean.............. Thanks for the great stay Brian. We'll definitely be back DavidRecommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My husabnd and I where very happy with the accomodations, the pictures do not do it justice and the views are spectacular....the home has a great fireplace and plenty of wood, it is contemperary but with a hint of antique and seaside furnishings...3 of the bedrooms are at other end of house, perfect for the kids or extended family....the king master has there own 1/2 bath in the hall. Large bright stocked kitchen, however no microwave, which we did not miss! The kitchen/dining room and living room all face the water and are bright and sunny,..Plenty of DVD's/books.The description is accurate and the owners are friendly and helpful. The Cove resturaunt...2 pizza palours...Dunkins..mini market...deli..ice cream stand..chinese...gas.. all 3 min away. The Charlestown beach parking lot is 1 mile...and the breachway 1.5. The house is located at end of 2 dirt roads. Great yard with spring flowers in blum, but our Lab loved the fact that he had more than enought room run around and he slept good!! The living room and hall with 3 bedrooms has tan burber carpet so if you bring a dog be careful of that as the back door to deck is off living room....the kitchen/formal dining/master have wood/tile floors. This is a great location for pets and children as it is very safe and secluded from traffic. The home is in an area of other homes but it is a very quiet location. The outside deck also has a firepit which we used.....it gets very very dark at night...the peepers with the moon/stars over the water is a welcome change from city living. Also, we tried kayaking (they provide the kyaks/paddles) my arms are sore but I would do it again...you see all sorts of wildlife and horseshoe crabs etc. We also drove to Point Judith and Scarbourough beach (about 25 min)...Newport maybe 45 min. Misquamicut beach approx 25min as well. We would love to go back again....we had no complaints about the property and had a chance to get some interesting history from a neighboor.,including a house that was washed ashore during the hurrican years ago. The place is just very pleasant and I would recomend it to anyone. There is also and outside shower for those interested in that. For parents info, there is only "one" TV in the livingroom.,which may be a good or bad thing, and the shower has a hot and cold knobs, so takes a bit to get use to. It is truly a pleasant home....and will go back again. I can't say enough nice things about this rental.....if you want views and peace you will find here.!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Why the Owner Chose Charlestown:
We purchased this property becaues of the amazing amount of conservation land located around it.
When you look out at the Pond at night there are no other lights, just miles of conservation land and the sound of the waves breaking on the beach. The fact that the house is at the end of a dead end private dirt road on Ninigret Pond offers great privacy with unimpeded views of the pond. And absolutly no traffic, ideal for relaxation and seclusion.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
You can walk, bike, drive or boat to the beaches. You can park at the beach. for $10.00
Bring your kayak and launch it from the yard. Bring your boat and keep it at the new 95 foot long dock. Go clamming at the sandbar across the pond directly in front of the house during low tide. Kayak to boat beach or take your boat to boat beach. Take your boat to Block Island, 25 minutes from your front door. Enjoy the wildlife on the pond. Perfect location for birdwatching.
