Everyone who loves the beach will enjoy spending time at our beach house in Harvey Cedars, NJ. Rentals during the summer months are typically 1 or 2 weeks in length and run from Saturday 2PM to the following Saturday 10AM. Night and weekend rentals are available for the remainder of the year.
Our beach house is the 5th house from the ocean with a shower/foot wash/water fountain located on the handicap accessible ramp to the beach. Life guarded areas are available during the summer months on our beautiful, wide, newly sand-replenished beach. This is a great place to build sand castles, fly kites or simply sit on the beach at the close of the day and watch the sand bars appear as the sun begins to set. The bay beach for very young children is available just a few blocks drive.
This duplex contains two independent units, half of which are available for rent, and contains: 3 bedrooms, 1½ baths, fully sized functional kitchen, dining room, living room, front and back porch decks, outdoor shower, and a small backyard.
Sunset Park is within walking distance with play area for children, basketball and tennis courts. Historic Barnegat Light is approximately 6 miles north from our beach house, while Holgate is about 12 miles to the south.

We stayed at this beach house in Harvey Cedars and had a wonderful time! It is clean and well-kept. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bedrooms are comfortable. There is a nice porch to relax on, and you are steps from a beautiful beach! Restaurants and a convenience store are close by, as well as play-areas for children. The house has a flat screen TV, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and grill. We highly recommend this house for a great vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

Jun .. $2050/week, Jul .. $2150/week, Aug .. $2150/week, Sept .. $2050/week. Rentals during the summer run Sat 2PM to Sat 10AM. Non summer rentals are available for select dates during the rest of the year as noted in the calendar at $200/night depending on length of stay. 50% deposit due at booking, 50% due 6 weeks prior to use. About: My wife and I purchased shares in this beachhouse on Long Beach Island as it was our opportunity to spend more time at the beach. We and our three school age children live in western/central NJ and find getting to the beach to spend time with family and friends is a welcome reprieve, all year round. Summers in our beach house in Harvey Cedars are wonderful as you can walk to the beach with a book and a blanket, be able to walk back to the house in a minute and be back on the beach in no time. Spending time in the off season is wonderful as well, quiet and beautiful.
Why Harvey Cedars:
As noted in the description above, we find our beach house to be very conducive to a great week or two of vacation at the beach. The house is very family friendly, the location is great. You can sit back and relax, take your kids/friends to the beach - all within walking distance, or venture elsewhere on the island for shopping, water sports, museums etc. There is enough space in the house and on the decks so everyone can find a place to relax.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The most unique benefit is to be able to walk to the beach in a half a minute, enjoy the day, walk back for lunch, take a shower in the outdoor shower, and either prepare a casual dinner in the full kitchen/outdoor grill, or get dressed for dinner at one of the local restaurants. It's all available.
