Family owned property/vacation home since 1942!
I am on the west shore of Ossipee Lake. Ossipee is the 5th largest lake in NH. It sits in a bowl of mountains called the Ossipee Mts. In the evening, you can sit on the porch and watch the moon come up over Green Mt. The flowers along the porch attract hummingbirds so one can see them on and off during the day. My beach is private and sandy as is the bottom of the lake. There is a small dock, mooring, and row boat for the renters use.
The cottage is in a neighborhood with a dead end street, in Deer Cove, which is one of the oldest sections of the lake. There are extensive areas around the cottage to walk, run, skate board, and bicycle. Located only a couple of miles from the Indian Mound Golf Course and also about 20 minutes from Wolfeboro on lake Winnipesaukee and about half an hour south of North Conway with its shopping malls, water park and other activates.
The screened in porch is furnished with several chairs and a couch to nap on plus a table to play games or eat on. There are also a table and chairs on the front deck by the barbecue.
Inside there is a large modern kitchen with dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, refrigerator, microwave and is fully equipped with dishes, silverware, and pans. There is also a large table in front of a picture window looking out on the lake. On the first floor, one finds the kitchen, living room, bathroom with washer and dryer and master bedroom with king size bed. This bedroom also has a small deck outside of the sliding doors. There are two more bedrooms upstairs which are air-conditioned.
