  I stayed at this house in Hudson with my husband and we had a wonderful time. The house was immaculate and perfectly maintained, and had all the conveniences we needed for the weekend. The house is beautifully decorated, and is even more lovely than it appears in the photos. It is perfectly located just a short drive from town, and the surrounding area is very scenic. The town of Hudson is a gem with great shopping, restaurants, and a beautiful historic district. I would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a cozy place to spend a weekend in the country.

  Having rented the house on multiple weekends over two years, I can say it's the perfect upstate retreat. Everything is impeccably maintained, clean and orderly. We enjoy grilling on the deck, cooking in the kitchen, reading in the backyard and being able to get to Hudson in under ten minutes. The views are great.

  This place is perfect. A little bit country, but not too much... all the comforts of home! It's off a quiet road (good for bike riding), very private, and about 3 minutes from downtown Hudson, Olana, and the bridge to the Catskills. It's an impeccably renovated spacious ranch with a huge deck overlooking a wide lawn (plenty of room for badminton), lush trees, and woods. The sunsets are spectacular, the hot tub and outdoor shower awesome. You're well situated to explore towns in all directions, but you might just want to hunker down at the house, cook on the grill, and relax with a book. We can't wait to try it in all seasons. The owner is welcoming, responsive, and super nice. Enjoy!

  What a wonderful, extremely clean and well appointed home. We've stayed in several rentals in the area and this is one of the very best, and certainly the cleanest, which goes a long way with me. Marty went above and beyond in his prompt correspondence and attention to detail. The hot tub is lovely. The wood burning stove is lovely, all-n-all just a charming home in a great location. Private, but close to happening downtown Hudson. Thanks Marty for a great weekend. We'd love to come back!

  This charming house has all the amenities one could ask for and is in a great location. The house was decorated really well and tastefully and was stocked with everything one could ask for. Great yard and deck made for relaxing times outside and the modern kitchen made meal prep a snap. Will definitely want to come back at some point. Thanks!!

  The property is beautifully maintained, cleaned and supplied, and the owner could not have been more helpful both before and during our stay. My two children, their spouses and I had a wonderful few days there, with plenty of nearby attractions and restaurants, although we much enjoyed evenings on the deck. Would definitely recommend.

  We spent two nights at the house and found it to be a great rental. The house was extremely well maintained, clean and comfortable. We found everything we could have possibly needed. The location was quiet and minutes from Hudson. The owner was very responsive to any questions. I highly recommend this property and fully intend to make repeat visits.

  We're four 30-something professionals who wanted to spend New Year's weekend out of the city. Our expectations were high and, without exception, exceeded. Let me set the scene: one of us taking a break from mixing cocktails to stir the fire in the wood-burning stove, another soaking in the hot tub, and two more comfortably cooking dinner in the beautifully appointed and user-friendly kitchen. Marty made sure the house was ready to welcome us and that we had everything we could possibly need. The town of Hudson is a stone's throw away (watch out for deer along the road) and the spectacular must-visit Olana looks down from a hill just a few minutes' drive away. Back to the house, though. Don't think twice about renting it. It's immaculately clean, impeccably maintained, and stylish to boot. You can't go wrong.

  We rented the house in May for the weekend. It has been almost 6 months, my friends and I still can't stop talking about how amazing the house is! It is a beautiful house with attention to detail throughout. We found everything we needed in the house. The views from this house are breathtaking--this was in May --I can just imagine how gorgeous it will be in the winter! Hot tub was great. (Marty, we made sure only 4 ppl in the tub : ) House was clean. Kitchen and outdoor grill (brand new) were excellent. We spent most of time in the house because girls didn't want to leave the house! Marty, the owner, is amazing! Highly recommended. We definitely will come back!

  We had a relaxing weekend away with friends and our dog. Great house, nicely decorated, VERY clean and well organized, large deck, and lovely back yard. We liked the location, which was quiet but conveniently located near Hudson. Thanks, Marty!
