My family enjoyed the Campo flat. It is as advertised on VRBO. We had a problem with one air conditioner, but the manager quickly responded with a repairman. The location is perfect for walking to so many sights. It is easy to use the public bus system. We would use the apartment again.

From the day we arrived until the day we left, there was NEVER a moment to complain. Our hired driver met us at the airport. The property manager greeted us at the door & was extremely helpful during our entire stay, going the "extra mile" to make us feel at home. Everything about the flat was accurately described and the pictures only enhanced the words. Even though we are only two, we rented this two bedroom flat for the convenience of the extra space. It is definitely large enough for a family of four or two couples. You would not be bumping into one another! The property was clean, adequately furnished, and is CONVENIENTLY LOCATED. The "lift", appliances & TV worked, the washing mashing and air-conditioning are a plus. Being from a well-known "walking city" ourselves, we were delighted to be living in a neighborhood where most "tourist musts" are within walking distance: Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, museums, & designer shopping!!! We did take the bus to Vatican City, Villa Borghese & the opera. Our neighborhood, Campo di Fiori, was bustling every day and late into the night...so many places to dine or to grab a quick snack, gelato or drink. There are many small shops & specialty markets, a bookstore, bakery and even a one-movie cinema. The open-air market is open every day...great for fresh produce & last minute goodies to fix up a quick meal. The neighbors on our street were friendly and open to conversation with "gli americani", the servers & merchants a delight. We were there the beginning of October...perfect weather. We can't say enough about our two-week stay, so it's time to stop here and highly recommend this property to anyone who wants the experience of living and breathing the vitality of the Eternal City. Our trip was an amazing adventure that we will always remember.

What a wonderful experience!
What a wonderful experience!
We rented a flat from this owner from Sep 9 - 13 of 2011. We primarily wanted this exact flat, the Trevi, as we knew it was as centre as it gets. The flat was unavailable so we ended up taking the campo di fiori flat. We were a bit unsure at first about how far it was from everything. But WOW! We are so glad we made the decision we did. Not only did we walk to Trevi, Vatican, Piazza Di Spagna and all the other attractions (and it was less than 15 minute walk to all these places) but the neighbouthood was supreme. Campo has a lot of boutiques near by so you can shop till' you drop but also a lot of restaurants, nightlife and other great things. The best part is that if you wish to be in a more quite neighborhood this is great ad the flat is on a little quiet street but within a minute's walk you are right in the middle of it all at campo. The place was clean, comfortable and more than roomy for two people. We didn't even use the second bedroom. I couldn't say enough good things about it. And Nicola (the building manager) was super sweet and helpful. Definitely get this flat or any other flats by this owner ... Especially the campo flat!

Great location, charming flat
Great location, charming flat
We really enjoyed our stay at this flat. The location is hard to beat with short walks to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Trevi fountain. Slightly longer walks to the Spanish Steps, the Coliseum and the Vatican. The flat is clean and well kept. The website provided an accurate description of the flat and everything was in working order. We had 6 people in our party and the flat worked well for us, although with so many great things nearby we didn't spend much time indoors. The space was a little tight and the portable air conditioning units didn't cool the middle room that effectively on hot days but we were still comfortable. The management staff was very helpful and responded to our requests promptly. We would recommend this flat for anyone who is coming to Rome for a holiday and wants a clean place in a great location. We would stay there again if we have another opportunity to visit Rome.

What a perfect apartment and perfect location. The description and pictures were very accurate. A great area, near the market place, restaurants, stores, and transportation. The manager was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She made our stay very enjoyable. We were in this apartment for a month and loved every minute.

We were greatly disappointed in the property for the price we payed. The flat was older which was fine, but the problems that go along with an older flat were prevelant. The hot water was only available 50% of the time and on two different days we didn't shower because there was not hot water. Their is no "tub" in the bathroom as advertised and it smelled of urine. There is mold growing in the top corner of the shower and my kids thought it was "creepy" to take a shower in the flat. Arrival was a breeze and the manager lives right next door and was VERY helpful, but she couldn't even begin to make up for the poor conditions of the flat. The washing machine didn't work either. Upon arrival the flat was very clean and it has the amenities along with a great location. But, I wouldn't stay in the flat again nor recommend it for others who are used to U.S. style standards.

Owner response: Apologies for the lack of reply before - for personal reasons it has not been possible. We were very surprised to receive this comment, and strongly feel that it is not representative of an apartment that is spacious by Roman standards, very clean (as mentioned by the guests in their comment) and very well located. The apartment has had near full occupancy for the last couple of years on the holiday rental market, and this is the first time that we have received a comment of disappointment (it is a new listing on VRBO). As the guests mention, the manager lives right next door to the apartment, but at no point was she informed about lack of hot water. We offer a 24/7 service, and try to help guests in whatever way possible to enjoy their stay in Rome. It is correct that there is no bathtub, and this has been removed from flat details - apologies are due for this error. The washing machine was broken during the guests' stay but has since been repaired. Decoration of the apartment is simple, and there is no clutter. The bathroom is very clean. However there is damp on the ceiling above the shower - with due respect to the guests and apologies to the children who did not enjoy taking a shower, damp can occur and we believe that the comments of the guests are far out of proportion to reality.

About the owner: I'm an actor working on Serial TV & Theater. On TV I worked on an Italian Famous Serial: "Romanzo Criminale".
Why the Owner Chose Navona:
I love this area because you can still find the spirit of ancient period. The area is also full of little shops, cafès, bookshops. From the flat every historical sightseeing is reachable by a short walk. There're many goods restaurants. You can start your day having a wonderful breakfast reading newspapers in Piazza Farnese just in front of French Embassy and the Bernini's Fountains. Then you can buy your food at the food market in Campo de Fiori.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Campo Flat is a very quiet apartment, you are inside the most crowded area of Rome but you can't hear anything inside the flat.
