The cabin was exactly as listed. It was nestled in a corner in the woods. So much privacy. My husband and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary. The cabin was so cute and very clean. Easy access as far as travel and easy to enter upon. We used the grill one night and the kitchen had everything needed to cook full meals. The hot tub was amazing and it has lots of privacy on the deck. The weekend was perfect. We plan on renting this cabin again next year, maybe even bringing some friends. It was plenty big to sleep 6 people. I can't say anything negative about this cabin. It was still chilly enough to use the fireplace which made our stay ever more "k"ozy. The trip to gatlinburg was less than 10 minutes by road, this was a great perk since we liked to go down town and see the shops and then take a short hike. The king size bed slept wonderful and everything was so clean. Can't wait to stay here next April. I would reccomend this cabin to anyone looking for a romantic trip. Great price for the size and location. Loved it! Make sure you go to Ole Smokey Moonshine and take a hike up to Laurel Falls. This cabin would even be perfect for a girls trip! Its a lovely place to stay 2 nights or more!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed staying at the Kozy Bear Korner. Easy to book, and once we got there, we had a great time. We used the outdoor charcoal grill every night, and we loved the hot tub overlooking the forest. Inside the cabin was very nice, with two large beds and a pull out sofa. Everything we needed was there for us, and we really loved this cabin!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This our second time to stay at the Kozy Bear Korner for Thanksgiving. Once again, it was wonderful ... clean, stocked, private and the most anticipated homebaked goodies were delicious. I learned last year that the owners keep the cabin very well stocked, so it lessened the amount of things I needed to bring for our time there. Thank you again for a fabulous long weekend !!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Kozy Bear Korner was the perfect get-a-way! The location is superb-between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and just mere minutes from the entrance to the Great Smokey Mountains park! The location gives you the ability to go into town if you desire or stay cozy at the cabin. The cabin is so quaint! It was clean and has such a woodsy charm, yet with all the amenities one could want! Having adventurous days in the park and being able to come back to the cabin, have some hot chocolate and crawl into the comfortable bed was fabulous! We really didn't want to leave - one of our most enjoyable vacations! We'll definitely be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers.

First of all I am very fussy about vacation rentals and quite honestly there was nothing wrong with this one. The cabin was spotless clean and well furnished. (we loved the bears!) Having a jacuzzi in the main bedroom was a treat after hiking in the mountains. The owner is very available for questions and advice. We needed Wifi for booking hotels on our way back up north so that was also a feature of the home which we liked. There is a climb (car) to the cabin but that is the charm of it. Who wants to stay on a main road in Gatlinburg - no way...this is the place to stay.If you do stay avoid the tourist traps on main road in Gatlinburg - but do go to the Smokies and take a walk or hike - and support our parks. Cades Cove which is in the park is a must.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Really enjoyed this cabin! The 10 min ride up from town was fun! The cabin was clean and decorated for the holidays and we even had a tray of goodies waiting for us when we arrived. I had a little problem with the internet when we first got there but the owners responded back quickly and I was embarrassed to say it was my error!! The location was awesome! Would definatly stay again and recommend this cabin to everyone!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Our family of four stayed at Kozy Bear over Thanksgiving holidays. The cabin was absolutely wonderful. You get exactly what you see in the pictures. The kids zoned in on the plate of home baked goodies immediately and was a very welcome sight after a long day on the road - Thank you !! The location of the cabin was great with no immediate neighbors and plently of play area for the kids behind the cabin. The road to the cabin was a little unnerving at first, but after a few times in and out of resort we were pros. The cabin was clean, the hot tub was clean and even the jacuzzi tub was clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. Trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, dist det, etc were all there for us. We will DEFINITELY be back !! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin !!Owner response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay over Thanksgiving at Kozy Bear Korner. We do strive to provide all you need for your mountain getaway and to meet our guests expectations. We look forward to having you back soon!

First and foremost, I want to say thank you for opening your home to those of us who prefer private residences rather than hotels. Your home is warm and inviting and I was able to easily slip into a lazy routine of sitting on the porch/deck to read and enjoy the sights and sounds around me. You have filled your home with a clean sense of taste and style while maintaining the authentic feel of mountain living. I was so happy to see (upon my arrival) that your home is truly secluded. There are several others along Beach Front Drive that were literally side by side. I found your home to be very clean upon my arrival and simply performed everyday touch up as I would in my own home. All amenities for cooking, cleaning, etc. as provided were perfect and in excellent condition. I fully intend to return to Kozybear annually and highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay there! Until then, thank you again and enjoy the fall/winter season.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Recently stayed three nights here with some pros and cons. Pros: great rate, easy to deal with owner, no hidden fees, location between the two towns is nice, the King size bed in the master bedroom was awesome, Internet connection was awesome, better than a hotel stay anyday Cons: not exactly as clean as I would have liked it--lots of little things that made me think someone was in a hurry to get it clean and things got overlooked (cobwebs, dust, food on kitchen floor). Hot tub was OK--didn't feel that great but wasn't bad either, even though the location was great the roads getting to the cabin are very cury, hilly, with lots of twists and turns, only partial level parking for one vehicle (so if you bring two be prepared). Lots of towels given but only enough wash cloths for one day for 4 people. But cabin services did bring us 4 more the next day when I called and asked. If you are expecting mountain views you will not get it with this one surrounding by trees and a dead end road, which didn't matter to us this trip we spent more time out doing activities than in. Overall not bad but not excellent either...just kind of in the middle but I am very picky!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thank you for visiting us at Kozy Bear and giving us 4 stars. Yes, our cabin is in the wooded foothills area of the Smoky Mountains therefore providing some privacy. The roads are windy since again we are in the foothills but all the ones for us are paved and easy to drive. We love our private corner lot so we do not have any cabins behind or on either side of us. We have worked with our management service, cabin servies regarding the cleaning issues you pointed out and this has been resolved. We strive for excellence and want our guests to contact us or cabin services while they are there so we can deal with any potential issues. We hope to have you back!

Year Purchased: 2006
Why the Owner Chose Pigeon Forge:
We purchased this cabin to create lasting fun memories with our children before they leave the nest. We want to share our cabin with other families or couples to be able to make some of their own memories in the mountains.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Kozy Bear Korner cabin is very unique because of the privacy it offers but yet it is very convenient to the activities offered minutes away. Our cabin has a great corner lot that has no cabins beside it and offers plenty of wooded area to explore.
