The Lake of the Ozarks is a man made lake built by Union Electric consisting of 54,000 acres held back by the electric generating Bagnell Dam. It has 1150 miles of shoreline and runs 92 miles end to end.
Gorgeous lake view from the top floor screened balcony, living room and master bedroom. Professionally decorated (1523 sq. foot) 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and laundry room open floor plan condominium.
Our kitchen features granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and ceramic tile floors. You will find everything you need from a blender to wine goblets for cooking and serving your family.
Swim in our crystal clear salt water pool or relax in the hot tub. If you prefer the lake for swimming, there is a swim platform just outside our building. Want to spend some quiet time fishing or join the skiers and tubers on the water? Bring your boat or rent one from one of the near-by marinas. We offer you the use of our 12’ x 36’ boat slip. There is no on-site boat ramp but a public ramp near-by. The charge is $5.00 which includes both launching and loading your boat. Fishing off the docks works out well even for the not so novice fisherman.
The Laurie and Sunrise Beach area have several massage and other therapeutic treatment spas. By water, the H. Toad (previously known as the Horny Toad) across the lake has many comforting services available.
After you are all rested up, try one of the many restaurants in Laurie and near-by. Less than 5 minutes away, The Rocky Top Bar & Grill (popular with the locals) a few miles up on HWY O. There is also the Cannon Smoked Saloon located in the Indian Rock Golf Course across from the West Lake Cinema. Less than 8 minutes away, the town of Laurie also has JJ'S Copper Pot, Chances R, Season's Cafe and Bakery (don't leave without trying a cinnamon roll), Osage River Bar and Grill, Val's, and the ole' favorite chains, Sonic, Pizza Hut and Subway. Nearby Sunrise Beach has a great Mexican (also American food) place called Sunrise Cantina, Captain Ron's Bar & Grill, and many others. Greenview has the popular Tupelo Honey's. Head North on HWY 5, towards Gravois Mills you can reach the very popular Coconuts Bar & Grill with it's swim up bar(seasonal) and The Olive Branch.
Golf:
You'll find more than 15 top-rated golf courses and 261 holes, many on or overlooking the water, at the Lake of Ozarks. Included are courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Weiskopf, Bruce Devlin, Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and Robert Hagge. The Indian Rock Golf Club in just 3 miles up highway O.
Land location:
We are located on highway O about 6 miles (8 minutes) from the town of Laurie. In the evenings, watch around the turns for deer grazing right along the road while not minding at all if you stop to take a picture.
Lake Location:
Blue Anchor Bay is at the ½ MM of the Gravois Mill Arm of Lake of the Ozark, located between the 6 & 7 MM of the main lake. We are close to the H. Toad on the 7 MM of the main lake (just around the corner and across the lake), you should not miss a visit to the very popular and unique Coconuts Bar & Grill at the 7 MM of the Gravois Arm with their swim up bar. You can also reach them by land in less than 20 minutes. The Jolly Roger is located at the 4 ½ MM of the Gravois Arm. Great food and fun at both establishments. There are over 40 restaurants on the waters of the lake.

1 hour 15 minutes from Jefferson City, MO.
3-3 1/2 hours from the St. Louis area.
8 minutes out of Laurie, MO on HWY O (6 miles of paved road).

We recently stayed at Blue Anchor Bay # 293663 with two families which consisted of teenagers. The condo is very clean and well stocked. The kitchen has everything you need....toaster, crockpot, blender and all the pots and accessories you need to prepare meals. The Traeger grill on the deck was very nice and it intrigued the guys on the trip. Donna was excellent to work with. She is very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. I highly recommend staying in this paticular unit at Blue Anchor Bay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

My family of six (plus two grandparents) visits the lake every year for a family reunion on this branch of the lake, and this condo is among our favorite accomodations yet. It's immaculate, well furnished, very well stocked, and comfortable. The view from the balcony is spectacular, and the pool is beautiful. The owners were also extremely concientious in making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for a great week!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The condo was super nice. I felt very pampered indeed! Sitting on the deck in morning with a cup of java watching the sun rise and set with a incredible view of the lake from the top deck. The owners have cut no corners in providing the best for their guests. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need and more. We had our small grandchildren with us and the owners even provided toys, life jackets, high chair and play n pack. My grand daughters favorite were the Dora Explorer pool toys! Pack light because if it isn't in the condo, you don't need it! Lots of fun! We will be back soon. Oh, I almost forgot....Donna you get an A+++ for owner hospitality. You were so gracious before, during and after our vacation. Thank you so much.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Just got back from a 5 day extended weekend (4th of July) and had to write a report on this wonderful condo. As all reviews befor me have stated, this condo is decorated with top quality items and equipped to make your stay very comfortable. They even have a Traeger smoker/grill (fully stocked with wood pellets) for your use, so I recommend sitting on the deck at least one night and smoking some meat for dinner. The view is one of the best on the Lake and the master bedroom shares the view with the family room and deck. the complex has a nice pool (with hot tub attached) and a swim dock. This condo unit also has an available 12x36 dock slip. All in all, a top pick at the Lake!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

I just returned from a weekend stay and was very pleased with the rental! It's decorated beautifully, spacious and stocked with everything you have at home. The enclosed patio was really nice & had a great view of the water. For our 2nd Annual Lake Trip we decided this year to try the "other side" of the Lake this year and had a amazing time. The condo was amazing...everyone could not stop talking about how nice the decor was and the view is spectacular. To wake up every morning with the lake in sight spoils you and makes you never want to leave. We spent most of our time by the pool and hot tub. Saturday night we even had a little fireworks display. The restaurants around the area are great and have wonderful food choices. Everyone had a great time and it was nice Sunday morning to get up and go! We have already planned on coming back next year and everyone requested to stay here again!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We just got back from doing a couple's weekend trip and this condo was amazing!! It has all luxury furnishings and the owners provide all top of the line amenties for you so you don't need anything! It was very clean and they were so great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed including places to go in the area. The docks have some of the best fishing that we have experienced at a condo rental and when we weren't fishing, we were hanging out at the pool and hot tub. The views are amazing off the screened in deck and the men loved grilling on the wood pellet grill. We will definitely come back!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

The pictures and description on this site does not do it justice!! This condo was not only large and beautiful but it had top of the line appliances, furniture, kitchen supplies, gorgeous views, anything you could want and need! It was very clean and the owners were so great to work with and made sure that we had everything we needed including places to see and do in the area. We fished off the docks and caught a lot of keepers and the pool and hot tub was fabulous. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone. This beautiful condo with a magnificent view provided a wonderful getaway experience for my husband and me and two other couples. We found the condo nestled in the hills right along the shore on the quiet side of the Lake. We enjoyed the quiet and leisure, but when we wanted more activity we found the south shore very accessible and easily reached in less than 30 minutes via the toll bridge. The condo was very well-appointed and immaculately clean. There was nothing we needed that we did not find. All of the equipment and supplies within the condo appeared brand new. It was decorated very nicely with wll amenities to make us feel at home. The exterior of the condo was clean and very well-maintained. Having the elevator made the condo so much more accessible for us -- particularly for one member of our party who is disabled and two who were recovering from knee surgery. Everything about the property was exactly as represented in the listing and as the owner's described. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had, and provided detailed information both in the information they had prepared and left in the condo and by telephone. Several of our meals were cooked at the condo, but we also ate out . We particularly enjoyed dining at Coconuts. The food was great and the setting was delightful. The wait staff was very attentive. It was a fun and lively place to eat right on the water, and we would recommend it. There were also good places to eat close by which we enjoyed as well. Some of our group enjoyed fishing, some enjoyed shopping, some of our time was spent playing games, some spent reading or watching television, and a great deal of it was spent just visiting and catching up with one another. No matter what the activity, this was a perfect place for it. We had a superb time and would recomment this facility to anyone.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

We just got back from staying at this beautiful condo on the lake and had a fantastic time. If you like luxury and beauty at a reasonable price, this is the place for you. The condo had everything we were looking for. Blue Anchor was easy to find and when we walked into our unit, we could not have been more pleased. It was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities that we wanted or needed. It was right on the lake with a gorgeous view. The master bedroom and bath were unbelievable. It was awesome to wake up in the morning to the beautiful view of the lake. The owners were wonderful to work with and very accommodating. We used the pool a view times and enjoyed ourselves. It is very family friendly. We didn't have a boat, but it would have been very convenient to slip a boat or jet ski if you wanted to. I hear the fishing was good too. We will definitely come back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.
