La Jolla is also home to a large salt water aquarium, and championship golf courses overlooking the Pacific Ocean are just minutes away. Within minutes from the property you can find world class shopping, resorts, entertainment, dining, outdoor recreation, and theme parks. Our 2000 square foot Condominium is in the desirable Mount Soledad area of beautiful La Jolla, which is privileged to have one of the world's best year-round climates. About halfway up the mountain, the neighborhood is low density, with the homes situated in attached pairs.
The location offers the unique combination of peaceful surroundings (virtually no traffic can be heard) in a beautifully landscaped setting, and yet is only minutes from the beach, downtown San Diego, the world famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World, the Midway Museum, the Birch Aquarium, the San Diego Airport, Torrey Pines Golf Course, and many other destinations.
The recently renovated Condominium has modern decor with extensive use of many natural woods. It is brightly lit with skylights in the kitchen, living room, and loft. The kitchen is fully-equipped with high-end appliances. The living space is almost all on one story, with a spiral staircase leading to the spacious loft area and third bathroom above. The master suite is newly remodeled with upscale bathroom facilities, a gas fireplace and a private spa. Private patio areas for your exclusive use are in the front and rear of the condo. Garage parking for one car is provided, and outdoor parking is available for an additional vehicle.
The complex includes a recreation center with five well maintained tennis courts, including excellent lighting for nighttime play. There are also two workout rooms with a variety of fitness equipment, two swimming pools, hot tub and sauna. The clubhouse includes a party room and lending library.
In addition to the nearby charming and celebrated "Village of La Jolla" (also known as "The Jewel") with numerous attractive shops, art galleries, restaurants, and coastal scenes, the interesting community of Pacific Beach is equally close, with many interesting restaurants and a lively night scene.
A short 20-minute drive takes you to the University of California San Diego Campus (UCSD) with its many cultural venues, to downtown San Diego with its vibrant Gaslamp District and harbor, or to world famous destination attractions like the San Diego Zoo and Sea World. A slightly longer 40-minute drive to the north brings you to the San Diego Wild Animal Park or to Legoland, and a similar drive to the south reaches the border with Mexico if you would like to sample an international experience.
