Located on a private road, this home enjoys endless views of Lake Michigan from a large wrap-around deck and a long stretch of private sandy beach. Summer is one of the very best times to experience this lovely property. Do you prefer a private beach for relaxing and swimming in the sandy-bottomed Lake Michigan or do you want to explore Leland's Fishtown and unique boutiques? Our home is perfect for both, located only 3 miles north of Leland but completely quiet and private. Our home is also popular with travelers to Michigan's award winning wineries.
The home itself is tastefully furnished with antiques and original art and comes complete with linens, appliances, and electronics.
The main level of this home includes a large great room perfect for entertaining and includes a massive stone fireplace and a wall of windows overlooking the water. The dining room comfortably seats 10. The remodeled kitchen includes granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a walk-in pantry. The private Master Suite includes views of the water, a private bath with separate jetted tub and shower. The main level of the house also includes a private den, a 3/4 bath with shower, and a screened porch.
The lower level of the home includes three additional bedrooms; one with a full bath en suite and two with a shared hallway bath. All bedrooms are generously sized and provide direct walk-out access to the beach. One bedroom has bunk beds and is large enough to add two additional twin beds for a kids' "bunk room." Additionally, the lower level includes a small conversation seating area.
